Law is not implemented. There is no punishment for the people who take wrong decisions. Because they are threatened by money making politicians. Some time I wonder why someone becomes politician in India? Baby's have to require written orders. That is not done. Transfer of babus is to be controlled by some power for org like Election commission.prasan wrote:Mutts being destroyed in Puri.
Your analysis must be referring to an alternate dimension, objectively speaking. Hindus have been ethnically cleansed from Kashmir and are the victim in most riots within India. While undoubtedly there are frauds who have exploited the faith for their gains, they are few and far between whilst being subject to the bulk of a biased media's deliberate attention. If anything, India needs to be saved from a complacent all is well mentality. Voting for a nominally Hindu, mostly secular party has also subjected them to vicious attacks. Conversions are rife setting up a clash between devout Hindus and other Christian denominations who have coexisted peacefully with Hindus. There are attempts to worsen divides using caste, for political gains. Of course, the faith and its adherents are being targeted.rsingh wrote:^^^^^
That is not the case. Hinduism is not in danger. People have opened their own shops in the name of Hinduism. Just put tilak and shut out any BS. There is holy man shouting that there should be Havana in every mosque. We have to save our India from such fandus.

In one more development, Rajkot based Naresh Patel who heads Khodaldham Trust today called a meeting of leaders of six main religious organizations of Patel community. Patel told media persons that the Chief Minister of Gujarat should be from Patidar community. He said Patidars should get their share of power not politics and administration in ratio of their population. He also spoke positively for Aam Admi Party (AAP).

Agree with you that BJP is not beholden to anyone. But the point is that even we are not Beholden to BJP.KL Dubey wrote: BJP is now beholden to their personal desires and must create Hindoo renaissance within 10 years........
I hope (but do not expect) that you will see the basic flaws in your thinking.darshhan wrote:The following applies to me.
Being Hindu >> Being BJP supporter
And seeing the behaviour of BJP, I can safely vouch that the time is coming when most of the Hindus based in India and currently supporters of BJP will have to make this choice.
Could you also spell out what this "choice" is? Is it to support the Congress? Kejriwal? Or "stay neutral and don't vote?" What is the choice you have made, out of the above, or if it is not any of the above then have you started your own party? Or have you made arrangements to move to another country? Basically - what exactly is this "choice?"darshhan wrote:The following applies to me.

I think this illusion of having some "choice" is part of the problem.
This will be my suggestion.darshhan wrote:One piece of vital advice for those who care about Hindus and Hindutva. Do not depend on secular state, electoral system, political parties and democratic processes for your freedom, safety and prosperity plus all other Hindu issues. The primary reason is that an average Hindu operates on a very different wavelength politically compared to Islamics, Christians, leftists or ambedkarites. He has lot of other priorities. Another reason is that population of Hindus is rapidly falling which will make future electoral success even more difficult than it is today. In fact if you consider the actual numbers of Islamics, Christians, leftists, wokeists, khalistanis, neo Buddhists, ambedkarites etc, Hindu population is already close to 50% or even less. No point in bashing Hindus for their supposedly inferior political awareness compared to above groups, when their numbers are in constantly decreasing mode. Hinduism will be limited to UCs and segments of OBCs in large parts of India. What is true in WB, Assam and Kerala today, will be true for most of India in the near future.
There will be advantages also. Hindus will still be the largest bloc in the land. They will be far more cohesive and politically aware wrt Hindu issues compared to their ancestors. Become Hindu Tribalist. Force all the parties to cede to your demands. Above all warriorize yourselves. Ten years from now, if you are still dependent on the secular state for your safety and freedom then you are in trouble and you would have effectively lost the civilizational battle with BIF.

The different parts of your suggestion are contradictory to each other. You want Hindoos to make political parties beholden to our interests (good), "warriorize", and "not depend on the state for safety and freedom".darshhan wrote:Become Hindu Tribalist. NDA, but not BJP.....that is the issue. All these people have a "family/dynasty-first" thought process. Since "family future" is neither guaranteed nor tolerated in the BJP organization, they are just another family party that will also bite the dust sooner or later. As I said couple of years ago, a large number of family-based smaller parties will have serious problems and will slowly die. TDP, SAD, LJP, SP, BSP, SS, RJD, JDS, NC, PDP, et al....likes of TMC and DMK will hang on for a while longer with RoP/RoL/other BIF support.Yagnasri wrote:From the start it was reported that Chirag was the person who made his father to join NDA in 2014 period. Manmohan criticises NGOs for protests in Kudankulam
N. Gopal Raj
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
JULY 30, 2016
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has criticised non-governmental organisations that receive support from abroad for stalling the use of genetic engineering in agriculture and leading protests against the Kudankulam nuclear power plant in Tamil Nadu.
In an interview published in the latest issue of journal Science, Dr. Singh pointed to the potential of biotechnology, saying “in due course of time we must make use of genetic engineering technologies to increase the productivity of our agriculture.”
But controversies had arisen. “There are NGOs, often funded from the United States and the Scandinavian countries, which are not fully appreciative of the development challenges that our country faces.”
Then, referring to the protests at Kudankulam, he said: “the atomic energy programme has got into difficulties because these NGOs, mostly I think based in the United States, don't appreciate need for our country to increase the energy supply.”
Asked whether nuclear power had a role in India despite the Fukushima disaster in Japan, he said, “Yes, where India is concerned, yes. The thinking segment of our population certainly is supportive of nuclear energy.”
On investment in R&D, he reiterated the view that such spending should be raised from about 1per cent of the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) to about 2 per cent. Public sector spending on research as a proportion of the GDP was “roughly the same” as that of other developing countries. “It is the private sector in our country which has to do a lot more.”
Over the next five years, the effort would be to gradually increase the proportion of money spent on R&D and at the same time “create a system of incentives which will induce the private sector to increase their spending on science and technology.”
To a question whether India was competing with China, he said the two countries were at a stage of development where both had to compete and cooperate.

Despite its assurance to the government on June 5 to provide details of a Chief Compliance Officer within a week, microblogging platform Twitter has failed to do so thus far. It has instead informed the government that it has posted job descriptions for required roles and will fill these as quickly as possible, The Hindu has learnt.
According to an official source, due to non-compliance with the new IT Rules, Twitter may no longer be classified as an intermediary, and there will be no separate order from the government on this. By losing its intermediary status, the U.S.-headquartered social media platform can now be held liable for any content posted by any user on its platform.
