It is just natural for the Europeans to throw away US misgivings about Russia and make peace with them. In fact it has always been so for the past 30 years ever since the collapse of the CCCP.rsingh wrote:EU has cleared her stand. Bakistan go to he'll it is better if it drags US along as well. 'History in Pakistan has been badly treated'
KARACHI: With Pakistan just two days away from observing Defence Day and marking the 50th anniversary of the 1965 war, historian and political economist Dr S. Akbar Zaidi dispelled ‘the victory myth’, saying that there can be no a bigger lie, as Pakistan lost terribly.
People are unaware of this fact because the history that is taught in Pakistan is from an ideological viewpoint, said Dr Zaidi
Dr Zaidi who also teaches history at the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi
Coming to the question when was Pakistan created, he said one obvious answer is it did so on Aug 14, 1947 but he read out an excerpt from a Pakistan Studies textbook in which it was claimed it came into being in 712AD when the Arabs came to Sindh and Multan. “This is utter rubbish!” he exclaimed
The 1940 Pakistan Resolution called for the recognition of Muslims within Hindustan and not for a separate entity, Dr Zaidi added.
Another candidate for wajib-ul-cattle.Referring to the distorted history, he said: “With the celebration of the victory in the 1965 war round the corner, there can be no bigger lie that Pakistan won the war. We lost terribly in the 1965 war.”

From the review above:
No reason to believe either will change.
Pakis have always been at it to destabilise India one way or there other. And Amreekis are the last ones to be trusted and can turn coats at a whim.ISI’s covert action in North East India began as early as in 1950 with the experience of Unconventional Warfare gained by the Pakistan Army in 1948 in Kashmir. In 1957, the ISI with the support of CIA, set up a Special Services Group within the Army to operationalise its Unconventional Warfare strategy against India. The SSG would train Naga and Mizo rebels in the East Pakistan to wage a proxy war in North East India. Sirrs believes that ISI’s Unconventional Warfare Strategy is built on the principle of ‘Plausible Deniability’ and it conducts operations that are ‘plausibly deniable’ by the state and its army.
No reason to believe either will change.

the paki obsession, as always, is only with the money that cricket brings as also the doors that it opens, and not the actual cricket per se.
This benefits the PCB, the jehadi paki govt, as well as, the players and the media including advertisers and paki snake oil salesmen in the garb of commentators.

So, the Kiwis flew in with a second-string team, practiced at the nets, and then canceled minutes before the first match was about to start citing a security threat. This from yaaawn:
Prime Minister Imran Khan also personally spoke to Jacinda Ardern, the prime minister of New Zealand, and informed her that Pakistan had "one of the best intelligence systems in the world and that no security threat of any kind" existed for the visiting team.
Echoing the statement, PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja in a tweet termed it a "crazy day", saying...Which world is New Zealand living in?? New Zealand will hear us at ICC," he wrote.
So expressing dismay, begging, and threatening - all in the same day. Only pakis are capable of it. I wonder which Raa agent was responsible for this?

Wonder what the specific intelligence input could have been. I mean they land up at the ground which would have been 2 to 3 hours before start of play. Then they choose not to go ahead. For something like that the threat ought to have been really really specific. Not some hoax bomb threat. Makes one think.

How the world reacted to NZ abandoning Pakistan series
September 17, 2021
New Zealand abandoned their limited-overs series in Pakistan on Friday after receiving a security alert, with the tourists "unilaterally suspending" all their scheduled matches.
PAKISTAN CRICKET BOARD (PCB)
"PCB is willing to continue the scheduled matches. However, cricket lovers in Pakistan and around the world will be disappointed by this last minute withdrawal."
NEW ZEALAND CRICKET CHIEF EXECUTIVE DAVID WHITE
"I understand this will be a blow for the PCB, who have been wonderful hosts, but player safety is paramount and we believe this is the only responsible option."
PCB CHAIRMAN RAMIZ RAJA
"Crazy day it has been! Feel so sorry for the fans and our players," Raja wrote on Twitter.
"Walking out of the tour by taking a unilateral approach on a security threat is very frustrating. Especially when it's not shared! Which world is NZ living in? NZ will hear us at ICC."
NEW ZEALAND PRIME MINISTER JACINDA ARDERN
"When I spoke with the Prime Minister of Pakistan I conveyed our thanks for taking care of the New Zealand Cricket team," Ardern said in a statement sent to Reuters.
"I know how disappointing it will be for everyone that the game hasn't gone ahead, but we totally support the decision that's been made. Player safety has to be paramount."
FORMER PAKISTAN PACER SHOAIB AKHTAR
"NZ just killed Pakistan cricket."
"Following points for New Zealand to remember: 9 Pakistanis were killed in the Christchurch attack. Pakistan stood strong with New Zealand. Pakistan toured New Zealand in the worst of Covid circumstances regardless of the crude treatment by NZ authorities on that tour.
"This was just an unverified threat, it could have been discussed. Prime Minister Imran Khan personally spoke to his NZ counterpart and assured but it was still refused. Pakistan has safely hosted South Africa, Bangladesh, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe & PSL," Akhtar wrote on Twitter.

England liaising with its security team in Pakistan to decide fate of upcoming tour after NZ cancellation
Abdul Ghaffar | Dawn.com, September 17, 2021
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said on Friday that it would make the decision on its planned tour to Pakistan in the next 24 to 48 hours, according to a spokesperson for the board.
The ECB announcement came soon after the sudden cancellation of the New Zealand cricket team's Pakistan tour due to security concerns. The Kiwis' decision was announced minutes before the first match was scheduled to start at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The ECB spokesperson said the board was aware of New Zealand's decision.
"We are liaising with our security team who are on the ground in Pakistan to fully understand the situation. The ECB will then decide in the next 24-48 hours whether our planned tour should proceed," the spokesperson said.
England men's and women's sides are due in Pakistan for a short two-match Twenty20 series next month.
While England men's team will be touring Pakistan after a 16-year break, the women’s squad, led by Heather Knight, will tour the country for the first time.
Both series were initially scheduled to be played in Karachi, but the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had decided to move the series to Rawalpindi due to operational and logistical reasons.

So, here's the story behind the story. According to Hajjam Sethi, the blame lies fully with the baki intelligence agencies and their ineptitide.
Apparently, on Sept 13, Paki agencies got wind of a credible threat alert specifically against the Kiwis. The threat was to attack the kiwis on the first day of the first test. Bakis did not alert the kiwis who showed up anyway based on the "fool-proof security" the bakis had promised. Under the contract the bakis had to let the Kiwis know.
Somehow/someone (Raa?) leaked the threat at the 11th hour and the kiwis took a spot decision to get the heck out of there, like bats out of hell. Kiwis blamed the pakis (Dimmy knows this) and also alerted the English on what to expect. The English CB are now reconsidering their tour.
Meanwhile the mango pakis went ballistic and started to rant and rave against BCCI, India, Israel, England, the Kiwis and everyone that they could think of. Fiza had a shrilled break down on air.
Sethi is now trying to calm down the easily excitable pakis. I bet that over the next day this matter will be pushed to the back burner and will never be mentioned again.
Oh, by the way, the pakis kirkit board did not get insurance to cover the possibility of the match not being played. Ouch!
