Yes. Most BJP states are likely to bring the Free Temple bills where they are in power.
It's a concurrent list subject and waiting for Center to pass is futile.
Shows how well the Rajay Sabha was packed by UPA.
Add Supreme Court to the mix.
They will bring the concurrent list matter to stall it.

*Most* interesting! So let's see now. If person A serves as cook for person B, who is the lower caste, and who is the upper caste?

A quote from Bernier (not exact words, to the best of my memory):

Indians refuse to eat at the house of a person lower down in the social scale. They prefer to eat at the house of their peers, or of somebody higher up. Thus, the houses of the brahmins are open to all castes at all times, to come and eat.

To which the European (British) translator had added the footnote (again - not exact words) - "this does not seem right, a brahmin would most certainly not defile himself by contact with the lower castes, let alone throw his house open for them to eat in."

Palakkad brahmins are known for their cooking skills, and regularly cook for all other castes. Brahmin cooks are preferred all over India. It's an upper caste privilege I guess, spending your time in a smoky smelly kitchen serving up meals to your inferiors.

Unless a law exists on the central books which takes ownership of certain temples in the country. The state law on the subject cannot be stopped.

The only argument to stop it could be social justice causes. Such as, a potential for untouchability, or cast discrimination.

Surely it would be better to have a mix of caste backgrounds doing the cooking.
Why should it matter to anyone what the caste of the cook is ?

If the original problem was the "high caste" pupils objecting to food cooked by a so called "low caste" then maybe they need to be talked to.

How are you going to develop a cohesive society when you have these divisions??

this is nonsense, this is why missionaries are having so much success.
treat your own people like this then what incentive do they have to remain "your people" you have told them in uncertain terms that they are not "your people"

Ghar Waapasi – 54 Christian ladies returned to Hinduism in Agency area near Vishakhapatnam.
Voltaire (1694-1778)
'Christianity lit the torches that reduced our cities to ashes, and furbished the swords that for so long covered our countryside with the corpses of our ancestors'
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) in association with Sri Saidatta Manasa Peetham has been planning to organize this Ghar Waapasi in Vishakhapatnam area. Srisai Datta Manasa Swami and his disciples went to many villages and talked about the richness of our culture knowing that they became Christians not because of the message of Bible but because of their financial circumstances, health-related issues, deceptive interpretation of Hindu scriptures and demeaning the multiplicity of Gods and Goddesses.
54 Christian ladies retuned to Hindu Dharma in Agency Area
The agency area is located in and around Kothapalli village in Madugula Mandalam in Visakhapatnam District.

Swamiji welcomed 54 Christian ladies welcomed back to Hinduism. All these ladies used to go to church. On the day Swamiji went they just came out of the Church. He has been talking to them for 3-4 months. But on this day, he spent enough time talking about the nasty, blood, and sexual nature of Bible and the richness of Sanatana Dharma. He was able to convince them to come back to the roots. The Christian Pastore reached these villages long time ago. Almost all the villages in the Agency area have Churches built or converted the houses into Churches. They started working on children enticing them with many incentives like chocolates, pens, pencils, books, and other items. Even though they were not Christians in the beginning tha Missionaries started demeaning Hinduism, criticizing Hindu Gods, abusing Hindu customs, and creating hatred toward Hinduism. Slowly the Pastors lured them into Christianity.

WE NEED YOUR HELP
We appreciate it if you can help in hiring more people who can go to these villages to do Ghar Waapasi. We have employed 22 people so far. More people we hire more villages can be covered to welcome them back and also create Chaitanya (Awareness) among the students and villagers.

Goa is a unique state where the minority has been pro-BJP for years now, and the BIF ecosystem is desperate to change that. Out goes the "supaari" to their media buddies in the west to write articles saying "Christians prosecuted" or "Mother Teresa's charity banned by fascist, hindu-nazi govt" etc. this inturn will be used to push propaganda in local Indian media to make Goan christians change their minds on whom to vote. I will get banned for saying this but for some reason, states which bore the brunt of partition and jihad the most i.e. Kerela, Punjab and Bengal have the maximum number of such dhimmi wokes. Other side has been completely clear about their mission and priorities from the time of Ghazwa-e-Hind.

Thats why my respect for Jinnah has grown by leaps and bounds in the past few years. He saw 100 years ago what chacha and bapu decided to not see with their eyes wide open.

Excellent documentary by RW ecosystem about how Christian Hooked Cross was mischievously translated into Swastika to dump the entire blame of Hitler's genocide on heathens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxvBFytl5aE

The production quality and narrative is really impressive (matching documentaries of National Geographic or Discovery). Nice to see SDRE heathens learning the tricks of the game.

Amazing documentary. Great production. My only wish is that they produce one on the origins of the real Swastika and its true meaning and value to our culture.

For me the visuals of the holocaust are nothing new, have been seeing them every couple of years on television when they revisit the liberation of Auschwitz etc. However, what was most poignant for me was the short clip of the Indian tied to the 'Kolhu' like a beast while the British officer watched.

Does somebody have or know of a source of the old news clips of our freedom fighters protesting against British troops?

While there were always hit pieces and hack jobs on Modi and India in Western Newspapers the last couple of months have seen a major rise in activity

I've been seeing the classic Wapo/NYT kinda article every other day now and they have started using other platforms to spread this outrage

Reddit specifically.. A platform very popular among 16-24 American and global youth has increased its anti India rhetoric to another level and its design makes it easy to spread outrage among a variety of subs/channels. Their desire to spread misinformation about India is only matched by their fear of speaking even one word against Islam or China.

The fact of the matter is speaking against Islam is gonna get them labeled a "Racist" "Islamophobic" which in modern Americasn Society is more feared than being labeled a murderer or rapist

And speaking against China is gonna hurt their wallets so they dare not try.

But against India/Hindus its fair game because apart from Twitter outrage we're not going to do anything about it.

1) Remember not to confuse cause and effect. This McGowan seems a little less smart than the rest...she admits that the root of all this anger is the squeezing of shady NGO activities and funding sources. So, all the rage is excellent proof that what Modi sarkar, RSS, and Hindu orgs are doing is working. After all, worms come crawling out of the woodwork en masse when you dunk it in water and they can't breathe.

2) Between her twitter account and this OpIndia article below, it seems clear McGowan has done and said enough to qualify for a visa/OCI revocation and immediate deportation. Political activism, inciting religious sentiments/hatred, abusing the government, pushing CAA protests. This is certainly NOT what OCIs or visa holders should be doing in India.

https://www.opindia.com/2021/12/anti-ca ... vi-chopra/

In such matters, OCIs and visa holders have parity, i.e. the Home Ministry can expel an OCI for the same reasons that it can expel a visa holder. I do hope this trash was never given an Indian citizenship. She seems to be holed up in India with Ravi Chopra full-time.

3) Modi himself said he drinks 4 liters of abuses daily, so this is not going to make any iota of difference to him.

Finance Ministry notifies 12% GST rate on raw yarn and fabrics as well. This is baffling considering India has been trying to encourage more investment in the textile industry .
Surprising considering GST collections have been significantly greater in recent months compared to pre pandemic levels. There is still some scope to improve collections by formalising the economy and improving compliance. Let those be done before increasing taxes.
In yet another self-inflicted wound by the Finance Ministry, the govt today has decided to defer the ill-thought out increase on textiles and footwear. While the 15 lakh job losses/ 1 lakh textile units shuttering because of the increase in GST is a blatant lie and ridiculous exaggeration, there was absolutely no need to increase the taxes on an item we export especially when industries are just about coming out of the crisis brought upon by the pandemic. Sadly it has been a signature of several ministries to implement or propose half-baked ideas and policies and later back pedal, we've seen this with telecom, retrospective tax policy on corporates, complex tax system on startups to name a few.
New Delhi, Dec 31 (PTI) The GST Council on Friday decided to put on hold the decision to hike tax rate on textiles to 12 per cent after many states, including Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, opposed the move, an official said.

The 46th meeting of the GST Council, chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and comprising state counterparts, decided to deliberate on the issue further in its next meeting.

Currently, tax rate on manmade fibre (MMF) is 18 per cent, MMF yarn 12 per cent, while fabrics are taxed at 5 per cent.

The Council in its previous meeting on September 17 had decided to correct the inverted duty structure in footwear and textile sectors.

With effect from January 1, 2022, all footwear, irrespective of prices, will attract GST at 12 per cent. It was also decided that 12 per cent uniform GST rate would apply on textile products, except cotton, including readymade garments.

States like Gujarat, West Bengal, Delhi, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu have said they are not in favour of a hike in Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate on textiles to 12 per cent, from 5 per cent, with effect from January 1, 2022.

Amit Mitra, advisor to West Bengal Chief Minister, had earlier urged the Centre to roll back the proposed tax rate hike on textiles, saying this would lead to closure of around 1 lakh textile units and 15 lakh job losses.

Although if this is correct, how one can be both a foreign agent and also part of a GoI committee working in the same subject area is beyond me. The article doesn't say, but our enterprising press must ask if the foreign agency and potential for a conflict of interest was disclosed to the GoI and the Supreme Court.

I'm definitely curious now if much of the legal backlog in India is just GoI run psyops and shenanigans to confuse adversaries.
