1. Omidyar Network, caught in manipulating FCRA funding, allegedly funds media houses (Leftists) to disturb governance. This is what their website says: "We invest to build more inclusive and equitable societies".

2. "Omidyar Network is a social change venture that reimagines critical systems, and the ideas that govern them, to build more inclusive and equitable societies—for the benefit of the many, not just the few—across the globe".

Did not find any main stream media news outlets reporting this. Even a google search of "Amarnath+Bus" shows results of booking buses for Amarnath pilgrimage. Is there a deliberate media black out? Not because of GoI directives but from the terrorist sympathisers themselves? If such reports gets highlighted there would be a big demand to hit back at Pakistan and terrorist gangs (which the terrorist sympathisers will not want).

I posted the India Today link in the Political analysis forum

Yes there does seem to be a deliberate media blackout. I saw it when someone tweeted about it first.

So it's an incendiary in the engine compartment. So someone had access to the bus and planted it.
Hope they have CCTV footage and some witnesses.

Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Convict Perarivalan To Walk Free After 31 Years. With this order perhaps other convicts like Nalini and also the other Sri Lankan convicts also may get released soon.

Perarivalan was first sentenced to death, then his sentence was commuted to life term for the offence that he had supplied 9V batteries to Sivarasan to complete the bomb. An interesting fact; In the book "The Rajiv Gandhi Assasination The Investigation" authored by D.R Karthikeyan & Radhavinod Raju, Perarivalan is shown as a person who jolly well knew the antecedents of the other accused and the purpose of their visit to Chennai. In this book they wrote "Mr. K Raghothaman, the chief investigating officer, was in the witness box for 67 days!".

Now the above Mr. K Raghothaman have written another book "Conspiracy to Kill Rajiv Gandhi. From the CBI files". In his version of events he wrote - "Arivu who was staying with Murugan was also arrested as he had purchased a 9V Golden power battery of foreign origin, from a shop in Mylapore and gave it to Sivarasan which was used in the belt bomb by Dhanu, the assassin to kill Rajiv Gandhi. Besides he purchased a 12V care battery used by Sivarasan for his wireless operation with Pottu Amman and others. He had also purchased a motor cycle from Kivaraj Motors Chennai for Sivarasan's use. He was also found helping other associates of Sivarasan in Chennai".

The above information does not seem to justify the claim that Perarivalan was a 'babe in the woods'. But then Thiagarajan who was another officer with the SIT later said that Perarivalan's statements had been mis-recorded and that he did not know the end use of these 9 volt batteries.

Mean while L&O news from the secular socialist heaven, Kerala.
Leaked information to terrorist organization; Police phones were confiscated.
Policemen posted at the PS at Munnar (a very popular hill station in South India) found actively leaking classified/secret information to their Islamist terrorist friends. These men were posted in key areas such as the station writer & computer operator etc. Looks like these folks were sending out information from the station's computer network itself which was being monitored by intelligence agencies.
If the news link opens up in Malayalam language, please user Google Translate. It does a good job in translation.

Kerala cop dismissed for leaking information about RSS workers to SDPI
There were reports that this police man also leaked information about his Hindu colleagues who were religious, regular temple goers and also actively took part in their local temple affairs. It is for any one's guess that what kind of camraderie would now exist in the police force . Add to this the heavily politicised police associations in the state which already have got the policemen split up on political lines.

PFI floated firm in Munnar to fund radical acts: ED
Munnar seems to be the new HQ of Islamists. As per the charge sheet - "in association with other PFI leaders and members associated with overseas entities, were developing a residential project — Munnar Villa Vista Project (MVVP) at Munnar — with a motive to launder money collected from foreign countries as well as within the country and to generate funds for PFI to finance its radical activities”.

Why there is no ban on PFI even after the High Court of Kerala calling it a violent extremist organisation? Could it be because the organisation has been penetrated by agencies and they are milking it for more valuable info on foreign connections?

I also feel there is a political angle to this. PFI is allowed to run bersek, as this is also pushing lots of fence sitting Hindus (and few X'ians) to the BJP camp. Banning PFI now will only spawn off many unknown terror groups and it will not be easy to associate them with the terror acts. SDPI, PFI are quite brazen about their Islamist agenda. Allow them to play around a bit, without causing major damages, while this also leads to consolidation of various pro-Hindu groups. The Hijab row in Karnataka is a classic case where PFI/SDPI/CFI tried to cause problems, but ultimately it led to Hindu group consolidation and retaliation.

Sachin,
It's not fair to post stuff like that unless you have evidence.

There are many factors that prevent such a ban on PFI.

Meanwhile Islamist organisations like SDPI are coining some slogans which echoes the sentiments of the Jehadis in Kashmir.
Kerala: Little boy raises provocative slogans against Hindus during SDPI march; Police launches investigation
Kerala Muslim child raises slogans at SDPI rally: "Hindus, go buy mountains of rice, and Christians, go buy incense (in preparation for funerals). If you do not live decently, you will know "Azadi". Watch the movie Kashmir Files to know what Azadi is.

K.P has lodged an FIR and seems to be investigating . But most likely an eyewash due the political out look of the current GoKL.

There was a time when Pee pee cee and Time were portraying him as disciple of Mahatma Gandhi. Remember he was released from jail with much funfair and he met PM. GOI him to bring moderation to Kashmir and help dislodge extremists. Bakistan was ruling the waves. No wonder we are in this situation. Question is to be asked who sat on his files for 32 years?

Kashmiri Separatist Yasin Malik's Punishments And Fines - Details In 10 Points
Looks like it is life imprisonment on one charges and multiple 10 year sentences + fines and 5 year terms and fines. The catch is that the sentences would run 'concurrently'. Which means that the longest prison term would be based on how life imprisonment gets carried out. In some states lifers gets out of the jail after spending around 14 years.

Also this verdict is from the NIA court (which is equal to a Sessions Court), so he can appeal at High Court and Supreme Court as well.

That targeted killings started almost an year ago. Guess now that there is a furor in media and the opposition has started shouting from the roof tops, the HM had no other option to meet Dovalji. I mean, if Dovalji agreed for a ceasefire with Bajwa then he must be right, hope he also can visit the homes of dead hindus and dead soldiers and explain the rationale. CAA after all the drama and riots was never codified, farm law bill after all the drama and riots was rolled back, revocation of article 370 which was supposed to improve the situation in Kashmir but looks like the valley is staring at mid-90s like situation again. Waiting for the december election cycle when we'll hear about "surgical strike" and "Balakot" again. Apparently 20 cabinet ministers are to visit the valley in the coming days, instead the wise thing to do would be to visit Jammu and Ladakh to promote employment there instead of more pandering to jihadis, then again it is sabka saath, sabka vikas.

Killing random people is easy, the question who do we kill back. It takes time to respond with investigation to find the actual killers.

If only the killer from top to bottom, Pakis to BiF in India make videos taking responsibility.

And Notice killers and ideology are never critised.

Don't think this has much to do with the ceasefire. We have a multi layered grid to protect pakis coming in. This is the handiwork of the local population who give away details of KPs and other non locals. There was a good article on swarajya stating how locals, without even meeting handlers are executing these killings.

The population will remain rabid and never align to India. There is only one solution to the problem and that is sweeping demographic realignment carried out on a district to district basis by mapping of grids and using a combination of incentives and coercion to achieve the same. Else these pigs will keep doing what they are up to with the aim of making Kashmir a hub of global jihadists.

Aggressive local action is needed and perhaps we can take a leaf out of china's book in this regard

The targeted killing of random individuals is a well thought out strategy to dent the plans of pandit resettlement in the valley. A half hearted attempt to implement this, like in the case of farm laws, will result in a lot of dead bodies. One can only hope MAD has thought this through and has a planned response in place.

Targeted killings of hindus and our inability to go after the masterminds is one thing but there has been repeat infiltration of Pakistani terrorists or Paki trained kashmirs who have killed citizens and soldiers in the valley. In November the Army and JKPF hunted for pakistani terrorists in Poonch and Rajouri for almost a month in vain, we lost an officer and 9 soldiers in the operation. Just last week 3 terrorists were neutralized who had recently infiltrated from across the border. Chinar corp commander accused the pakistanis of using ceasefire to infiltrate more terrorists and arms into the valley. There are almost weekly infiltration of drones dropping arms and drugs which would not be possible without tacit support of Pakistani army. Again, if it isn't for the media or the opposition trying to corner the government, it would be business as usual until next elections. And while all this is going on there are multiple reports of GoI restarting the infamous "track 2" diplomacy with the new pakistani government ! As we speak the Paki IWT team is in Delhi for meetings !

If the cease fire is being used as a cover for this then the first step as a response is to do away with the ceasefire. Let the LOC be hot again now or we can wait till Amarnath yatra gets hit, which is inevitable in the current situation.

This is not a simple case of running illegal telephone exchange. They are closely associated with terror infrastructure functioning in the country. This is the latest among a series of such incidents. Most of them have a KL connection.
Bengaluru: Man from Kerala arrested for running illegal telephone exchange
In a joint operation, Military Intelligence of Army’s Southern Command and Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru city have busted an illegal telephone exchange involved in allegedly converting international calls to local calls and arrested a 41-year-old man. According to officials, the fraud came to light when Pakistani intelligence operatives used a SIM box to obtain information from a defence installation.

The arrested accused has been identified as Sharafudeen, a native of Wayanad in Kerala, who lives in Bengaluru. He has been accused of illegally creating a telephone exchange by placing several mobile SIM cards into electronic devices to convert foreign phone calls into local calls and thereby defrauding the telecommunication network and disrupting the country’s security.

A preliminary investigation has revealed that Sharafudeen, and his associates, if any, used 58 electronic devices to install 2,144 SIM cards in four locations of Bhuvaneswari Nagar, Chikkasandra and Siddheshwar layout to convert international calls to local calls, said officials.

As always, at it's base it is about territory (land).... no surprise as Jihad has always been about taking over Dar al-'Ahd / Dar al-harb to make them Dar al-Islam

Kanpur violence: Mukhtar Baba says riots were planned to acquire Chandreshwar Hata land
On Thursday, Baba Biryani owner Mukhtar Baba who was arrested for funding ‘blasphemy’ riots in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur district confessed to the SIT that he along with his builder friends wanted to get hold of Chandreshwar Hata, the main area where stone-pelting erupted on June 3. During the interrogation, he also agreed that he and his builder friends had funded the violence to threaten the residents of Chandreshwar Hata and force them to vacate the property.

According to the reports, the investigating officers attained a video clip that showed people covered with white handkerchiefs directing a particular group towards the Hata. Mukhtar Baba on June 23 confirmed that those were his men and that they had planned the violence in his restaurant. He added that his builder friends had also joined the planning as they wanted the residents of Chandreshwar Hata to vacate the property. “The main target of violence in the New Road area was the Chandreshwar Hata area”, he said.

...

Some of the local leaders meanwhile reported that Baba Biryani is illegally built on land that actually belongs to a temple and that Mukhtar and his accomplices had been plotting violence for a long time to maintain their illegal occupation. Mukhtar Baba who comes from a very ordinary family has become rich and influential in the area due to this restaurant. According to the government records, the land on which the restaurant stands today belongs to the Ram-Janki temple. Mukhtar Baba’s father had a puncture repairing shop in 1968 on the same land.

The fact surfaced when the state administration was tracing all the illegal properties owned by the under the Enemy Property Act. Ram Janki Trust property was first gifted by a Pakistani Aabid Rehman to Mukhtar Baba’s mother who by will transferred it to her son. The main temple and 18 other Hindu shops were razed down to establish the present Biryani restaurant.

Aadhar is document of identity. Why not work with Govt of Bangladesh to offer aadhar in BD. Anyone with aadhar can be given easy access to India.
We will be able to track then and also block them from getting voter cards.
It will also improve life for migrants as they can travel easy without paying traffickers.

Mr. Xue met Ms. Petekhrinuo at the Hunter Valley Club in Gurgaon more than a year ago. “She told us that the money in her account belonged to Xue. She was obviously in love and Xue took advantage of her Indian identity. He said he could not marry her as he was already twice divorced and marriage did not make sense any more,” the officer said.

Intelligence agencies are also analysing the case as it could be linked to a larger syndicate. Ms. Petekhrinuo told the police that Mr. Xue also dabbled in bitcoin trading.

“We are not ruling out espionage, a conspiracy to derail internal security, and causing import duty loss to India. The investigation could throw up other details. Maybe the club was being used to honey trap government officials, who knows?” another police officer said.

Police suspect that Mr. Thakker was tipped-off from someone in the department before he fled. An inquiry has been ordered against the local police and revenue officials on how such a large, illegally run club had escaped scrutiny.

At the club premises, now under police protection, the police also found a diary. “The diary, with notes scribbled in English, detailed how women employees had to look presentable, wear make-up all the time, and entertain the guests,” Ms. Katyayan said.

The officer said Mr. Xue knew Hindi but pretended not to know the language. “The interrogation was done in English. He said it was very easy to cross over from India to China and China to India — ‘just pay ₹20,000 and you are on either side of the border’. He said that when it came to corruption, both India and China are the same,” she said.
