I would guess 8 crores a day of operational cost (around 1 million USD per day) for a brigades strength of troops in high altitude conditions. 125k crore is like 15 billion dollars - are you sure your numbers are right? You can build 2 more aircraft carriers with the aircraft out of it :rotfl:

There are so many things that NaMo has got right and done right that I'm satisfied with 80% of his track record after nearly 2 terms. Which is way more than what could be said for every PM who preceded him.

As for Yogi scaling unprecedented heights from 2029, NaMo himself has said he will not be in active politics beyond a certain age. If Yogi indeed becomes PM, he will have a phenomenal foundation laid by NaMo to build on. India would have accelerated a lot more by 2029.

As for astrology, I don't know if it's craft or art or fart. But I'm sure that our rishis and munis who invented astrology were neither fools nor scamsters, and intended public good. I'm fine if it does something for some people, like homeopathy for ex, without getting excessive. Personally I don't want predictions for a lot of reasons, I'm ok to take life as it comes.

#CulturalMarxism

The Cultural Marxists’ control over their perceived reality must be absolute. Those that speak out against them are demoralized, and all opposing thoughts are considered “hate speech.” Dissent is not allowed, and everyone must follow blindly without allowing for original thought.

Therefore, the goal of the Cultural Marxists is to relentlessly control their message. To control their message, they must control all forms of media, educational institutions, and even religious organizations.

The theory behind Cultural Marxism originated in a school located in Frankfurt, Germany. Originally called the Institute for Marxism, the group changed its name to the Institute for Social Research. Founded in 1923 by Felix Weil, the institute was affiliated with Frankfurt University in Germany. Because of its location, the institute eventually began being referred to as the Frankfurt School.

In this proposed society, there was no God. The state and its political philosophies were to be a new religion. Plus, they believed that only in the ashes of capitalism could real social change would occur. However, what exactly that change would be was never fully conceptualized.

A Hungarian Bolshevik by the name of György Lukács chaired the weeklong symposium. Known for his disastrous bout as the People’s Commissar for Education in Hungary in 1919, he injected his radical left-wing agenda into the symposium. During his short time as the Commissar in Hungary, he promoted a policy that he called “Cultural Terrorism” to destroy JudeoChristian values and the basic family unit.

His policy introduced a new sex education program to public schools that radically contradicted the moral standards of the day. Free sex and the antiquated nature of monogamy were taught to all schoolchildren. This disastrous policy was quickly dismantled after the overthrow of his political party. Though Lukács never became a member of the Frankfurt School, his beliefs shaped its underlying philosophies.

Horkheimer recruited Erich Fromm, a social psychologist, to join the school soon after his tenure. Fromm expanded upon Lukács’s radical sexual beliefs. His early writings extolled how sexual orientation was a mere social construct created artificially by society. He taught that masculinity and femininity were also social constructs and that there were no differences between the sexes.

Herbert Marcuse joined the school in 1932. Soon after, the institute moved to Geneva after the Nazi takeover. It then settled in Columbia University, located in New York until 1949 before returning to Germany. Marcuse was credited for injecting the Frankfurt School’s radical agenda into American universities across the country.

By the 1960s, the impact of the Frankfurt School could be seen throughout all of Western society. As the political left embraced more of its theories, the school’s policies slowly trickled into public schools, universities, businesses, academia, and the mainstream media.

This idea of total societal upheaval was introduced to the Frankfurt School through the writings of an Italian socialist by the name of Antonio Gramsci. It was his belief that if you want to change the economics of a society, you must first change its culture. He believed that economics is downstream from culture as opposed to the prevailing classical Marxist belief that culture lies downstream from economics.

He believed Western culture was the main roadblock stopping the glorious communist revolution. His goal was to replace JudeoChristian values and beliefs with a new region. This religion would not be based upon God or any coherent moral code. This religion would be one created by the people in the form of government. Instead of turning to religion, people would instead turn to the state. God would not bring them their livelihood; the state would.

In addition to attacking traditional JudeoChristian values, Gramsci believed that the entirety of Western culture needed to be eroded into nothingness. As the entire culture rotted, Gramsci proposed that people would be less self-reliant and more dependent on the state. When this occurred, it would usher in a great communist state and abolish self-governance. His goal to accomplish this task was a process to which he labeled “The Long March” through Western culture.

He sought to capture the youngest and most impressionable in society first. Therefore, the march needed to go through the public school systems and continue into the newspapers, mass media, literature, and theater. People’s minds needed to be infiltrated at all times and with as many means as necessary. This long march would be slow but relentless in nature until it overtook every aspect of Western society. It would only be then when the general public was totally brainwashed, could a true revolution begin.

The mainstream media has also been infiltrated by Marxism and the Frankfurt School of thought. You can not turn on the television or pick up any publication without becoming inundated with left-leaning messages.

The figurative march through the institutions has now, regrettably, engrained itself within our government and, worse yet, in our armed services. Instead of being taught how to win wars, some soldiers are indoctrinated into Cultural Marxism ideology. No longer are military recruits taught of America’s greatness.

#CriticalRaceTheory

CRT stems from an intellectual practice known as Critical Theory, which is the brainchild of the Frankfurt School. First published by the school in a 1937 essay "Traditional and Critical Theory" by Max Horkheimer, it was described as an exercise “to liberate human beings from circumstances which enslave them.” And the circumstances to which he warns about is capitalism.

Critical Theory’s goal, as outlined by Horkheimer and supported by the rest of the Frankfort School, is to destructively criticize all Western institutions, ideas, and beliefs in an attempt to destroy them. Only through their eradication would the enslavement perpetrated by capitalism on its people come to an end. The objective of Critical Theory is not one of productivity; it is solely an exercise in destruction.

The criteria to employ Critical Theory is actually a very simplistic exercise. Its basic hypothesis is that all Western institutions are inherently prejudiced against minority groups. There is no exception to the rule. It is an absolute and dogmatic belief, without exceptions being allowed. Every Western institution is considered an oppressing force, subjugating a minority or “underprivileged group.”

The practice of applying Critical Theory begins with identifying a particular group or “institution” as the oppressor or as privileged. Anyone else is then designated as the oppressed or in an underprivileged group. In this scenario, those in the oppressor category must accept their assignment without question. They must understand that by their mere existence, they are inherently oppressing a minority group or groups of people. If they deny this designation, the person is said to have internalized their pathology and is negatively labeled by the Critical Theorists. They are then called terms such as racist, homophobe, sexist, misogynist, or xenophobe, for example.

The next step in this practice, as author Alasdair Elder in his book “The Red Trojan Horse” explains, is to create a victim narrative. The goal is to prove how minority groups have been victimized by the majority and how this problem is “systemic.” For example, how many times have we been told that the entire legal system and all cops are “systemically racist”?

Using Critical Theory, Cultural Marxists then expand this idea of systemic racism to every institution in traditional Western society. Nothing and no one is spared from these attacks

Finally, for the Critical Theory to be complete, a comprehensive feedback loop needs to be created. This loop is generated by reinforcing the narrative as many times as possible and by as many outlets as possible. Let the public be inundated wherever they go: the internet, newspapers, TV, schools, movies, and radio. Let the message become ingrained in them, whereby it eventually becomes their truth.

The goal of CRT is to examine everything through the lens of racism. By its nature, it believes racism is ingrained in all institutions. CRT suggests that history can be defined as a power struggle between racist oppressors and disenfranchised minorities. Individuality is not prioritized in such a process. Instead, entire groups of people and their relationships within this racial struggle are examined.

One of the ultimate goals of the Cultural Marxists and Frankfurt School is to create a society of victims. It’s a society whereby no one needs to take responsibility for their actions, and there is always another person or group to blame for their misfortunes. People in this new society look to the outside in search of what is wrong with them instead of turning to themselves. Happiness is believed to be an external event and not internal in nature. It ultimately creates an atmosphere of resentment. It teaches people to believe that the only way a situation could get better is if other people change or if society changes as a whole.

The Cultural Marxists have slowly shifted political differences from an economic viewpoint to one of social identity. This perspective reiterates their belief that economics lies downstream from culture. Instead of news organizations or politicians concentrating on economic issues and political policies, the thrust of many conversations has now turned to a person’s identity.

The Cultural Marxists and Frankfurt School take their warped logic one step further. They believe that they alone have a monopoly on truth and that dissenters lack any moral rights to their point of view. Not only do the Cultural Marxists want to censor free speech, but now they also want to intrinsically change speech itself.

If someone is taught how to speak, teaching them how to think and what to believe is that much easier. The great George Orwell novel “1984” warned that the one who controls the language controls the mind.

A popular term the Cultural Marxists also use to stigmatize those that disagree with them is “fascist.” The irony is that most of them have no clue what a fascist is or why they use the term so flagrantly and ignorantly

Though modern-day Cultural Marxists believe that they are calling a person Hitler when labeling them as a fascist, what they are pointing out unknowingly is that the person actually holds conservative values. So faith in God, country, and law and order is actually fascist, according to Theodor Adorno’s F-Scale.

Another method by which Cultural Marxists shut down free speech and independent thought is through a concept called sensitivity training. Though the concept seems like a modern creation, it was also the brainchild of Theodor Adorno.

Corporate America, the media, and the American education system have been implementing their own form of sensitivity training for years throughout the country. By repeating certain messages, employing certain programs, and adhering to the same Marxist doctrines, the Cultural Marxists’ messages have permeated into the subconscious mind of America and all of Western culture.

No other person has learned to implement the beliefs of the Cultural Marxists as effectively and ruthlessly as the famed American Communist Saul Alinsky. He was known as a political organizer and had garnered many well-known disciples around the country. Some of the noblest of these include Cesar Chavez, Hillary Clinton, Bill Ayers, and Bernardine Dohrn. Later followers included the likes of former President Obama and Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. In fact, Hillary Clinton’s 1969 college thesis was on Saul Alinsky

Saul Alinsky, Obama & Clinton - Beware the Useful Idiots

In Sun Tzu’s “Art of War,” he writes, “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained, you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

So you need to understand what is #CulturalMarxist as u need to know the adversary and his ways to defeat them. In Indian context we to defeat Cultural Marxist we need to go back to our culture our values, make sure our education system and children remain far away from Gender Fluidity and other marxist influence

This Cultural Marxism is thus a Godless Ideology who aim is to disconnect people from the culture as man with roots will be easy to control in The New Global Order and he can be useful idiots for the elites to propagate their agendas. We did cover this in our book #TheNewGlobalOrder !

Well ORB in LoC is a fluid situation but officially Siachen Base Camp is overseen by the 102 Infantry Brigade of the 14 Corps with the AOR of the 110 10 km AGPL. This is supported by the IAF base in Thoise and quite a bit of other supporting arms between Thoise and Base camp

Well, it is sad, but we are not getting that money back. These entrenched political criminals not just in TN, but in the whole country have pushed us back by 2 or even 3 decades. We need to tighten the screws moving forward. Judicial Law enforcement on corruption charges is a mess, to say the least. Most of these people have 100s of cases pending in the court and they are given enough time to either buy or coerce judges and officers at will.

A man was travelling in a boat with his monkey.
There was also a philosopher with other passengers in that boat.
The monkey had never travelled in a boat before, so it was not feeling comfortable.
It was going up and down, not letting anyone sit in peace.

The boatman was troubled by this and was concerned that the boat would sink due to the panic of the passengers.
If the monkey doesn't calm down it will drown the boat.
The man was upset about the situation, but could not find any way to calm the monkey.

The philosopher watched all this and decided to help.
He said: " If you allow, I can make this monkey as quiet as a house cat."
The man immediately agreed.
The philosopher, with the help of two passengers, picked up the monkey and threw it into the river.

The monkey started to swim desperately to stay afloat.
It was now dying and struggled for its life.
After some time, the philosopher dragged the monkey back into the boat.
The monkey was quiet and went and sat in a corner.

The man and all passengers were surprised at the changed behaviour of the monkey
The man asked the philosopher: "At first it was jumping up and down. Now it is sitting like a pet cat. Why?"
Philosopher said: "No one realises the misfortune of another without tasting trouble.

When I threw this monkey into the water, it understood the power of the water and the usefulness of the boat."

Monkeys that are jumping up and down in India should be thrown in North Korea, Afghanistan, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria, Iraq or Pakistan or even China for 6 months, then on coming to India, they will automatically become calm as a pet cat and will lie in a corner.

Dedicated to all monkeys Abusing 'India'!!!

I am from Kerala. Don't know much about the political pulse in Kerala. Sharing what I know..

Generally Muslims and Christians are totally hostile to RSS, BJP. But suddenly in recent days two top Christian church leaders are openly welcoming BJP. Joseph Pamplany says if Modi govt ensure a good price for rubber then they will make sure BJP will get seats in elections. After several days , another church leader Mathew Alencherry said that 1. Christians don't face persecutions in India, 2. If someone says BJP is dangerous for minorities then it is because they are citing the experiences of minorities in Muslim countries !!!. He said these in an interview to Indian Express. Kerala BJP president had tweeted this interview.

When I read it, it is jaw dropping for me!. What is equally amazing is the fact that other church authorities didn't do much to refute these statements..

I subscribe Malayala Manorama, the no.1 vernacular newspaper in Kerala. Owned and run by Christians. A pro Congress newspaper.

Why the sudden change by church leaders? Do they think that the very fast growing Muslim population in Kerala will raise its own issues? Many had commented that Kerala could be the next Kashmir on account of high Muslim population and a large number of extremism related incidents.

My personal opinion is that Hindus in Kerala generally don't support BJP because of the memory of intense caste based humiliations in the past. Vivekananda said that Kerala is a mental asylum on seeing the intense caste based humiliations. Being a remittance economy, Kerala's living standards is much higher than other states. So self dignity is much more. But along with that resentment on the past humiliations will also be high.

Bar Council of India opposes SC hearing on same-sex marriage: ‘Legislature best suited to deal with such issues’

https://theprint.in/judiciary/bar-counc ... s/1535351/

23 April, 2023

New Delhi: The Bar Council of India (BCI) and all the State Bar Councils Sunday passed a joint resolution against the ongoing hearing on a batch of petitions in the Supreme Court, demanding legal recognition of same-sex marriage, claiming the proceedings “is a matter of great anxiety and serious concern for the bar.”

The resolution urges the top court to leave the issue “for legislative consideration,” who after a wide-ranging consultative process, many arrive at an appropriate decision, “as per the societal conscience and mandate of the people of our country.”

The Modi government has put forth a similar argument, while raising a preliminary objection to the petitions. It had asked the court to let elected representatives debate on the issue in Parliament, after seeking inputs from stakeholders.

In the same breath, however, the resolution “appreciates the step of the honourable Supreme Court” for having started the “sensitive conversion,” having “long-term societal ramifications.”

Yet, the resolution believes that since more than 99.9 per cent of people of the country are opposed to the idea of same-sex marriage and that “India is one of the most socio-religiously diverse countries of the world consisting of a mosaic of beliefs,” therefore, the court should deal issues pertaining to social and religious connotations through “doctrine of deference.”

“The legislature being truly reflective of the will of the people is best suited to deal with such sensitive issues. Every responsible and prudent citizen of the country is worried about the future of his/her children after coming to know about the pendency of this matter before the Honourable Supreme Court,” it reads.

BCI, the apex disciplinary body for the legal profession, is also the regulator of legal education in India. The Council derives its power from the Advocates Act, 1961, the law relating to legal practitioners in the country and also provides for the constitution of state bar councils and BCI.

The argument I heard from my lawyer friend is that it is hard to navigate any possible law on marriage until there are so many versions of it based on religion. He says nothing can change until there is a uniform civil code and that needs to be done by the legislative body. Where are the Lutyen's liberandus on uniform civil code?

It seems 2 weeks before Modi sworn in, SC set up a SIT to investigate Black Money and one retired judge close to $onia is heading it. Nothing came out of it in 9 years.
CJI keeps saying he is setting up a system to take over Collegium nominations for next decade. He literally setting up a parallel Govt. He says it is his responsibility to guide the next generation.

They have to impeach this guy in Parliament. We also need to set up a Parliamentary committee to oversee justices just like Senate Judiciary committee which can investigate Justices here

The power drunk already told that they are only going to tinker Hindu act nor personal laws. They also have marital rape petitions. They are going to bring in that also in few months. He is actually provoking them to fight before election to muddy it up and start propaganda and protests like Israel. Looks like Israel protests are being fanned by Mossad with help of Biden admin

I think this pillar of democracy realizes that they are the only opposition and acting like dictators. We saw this during caa and farm protests where the pillar + siege protests + media blitz is the only thing that made this govt bend

Rsatchi saar,

there is a very strong undercurrent of opposition across the board and across geographies that is rapidly building.

The bois played well when they asked for the states to be involved.

Now, the bear has been poked by the pillar, and the trap ,well and truly set by the center, has been sprung.

It was not merely about the states being aware of what's happening but it was more about the states making the hizzonners aware of how much of real opposition there is on the ground to these rash and offensive actions

He wanted to do it fast. GoI already asked the court that all state gov are to be made parties, and they also should be allowed to file their replies. A lot of religious gangs are already there. Kapil Sibbal appears for Muslims. The only way this can be bulldozered is by judgement on a particular marriage act that is being attempted—cental law. No religious laws are being examined, so there is no role for any spiritual and social organisations. That is the plan. Let us see.

There ought to something done about the growing cartoonize of the Hindu religion. This will blur and confuse future generations about how their cartoons can be seen as gods. And then the creators have no due diligence, they could add their own masala, woke, human rights elements in long term.

There is little awareness, seeing how common ppl are proud about how these are 4K, modern, English and convenient TV content, without realizing potential negative impact.

Kerala bishops urge PM Modi to act to end attacks on churches
The leaders of eight church denominations raised their concerns at a half-hour meeting with PM Narendra Modi about increasing attacks on places of Christian worship across the country and sought steps to end these atrocities. They also demanded that converted Christians be given scheduled caste (SC) status, sources associated with the church heads said after the meeting.

Issues related to the construction of houses for fishermen in coastal areas due to CRZ restrictions were raised. The church leaders also demanded that reservation for Anglo-Indians in the legislature be restored.

^^ Beyond a point the KL X'ian clergy will never be pro-BJP. But they would try to milk the situation and get some mileage. The only factor which makes X'ian clergy lean towards BJP is that the KL commies (CPI(M) and their side kick CPI) has been very pro-peacefool, perhaps even being friendly with SDPI/PFI cadre. X'ians do sense danger in this aspect.

^ Sachin ji, they seem to have been quite explicit in their demands (expectation). Removal of SC status will be a blow to their conversion activity.

And the CRZ restrictions will mean they will not be able to have pressure/choke points for national development/strategic projects.

I don't think so. Unless Modi takes any steps like including X'ian converts to reservation category or trying to help Arch Bishop Alanchery in any way. Arch Bishop Alanchery is also trying to hang onto any fig leaf which will allow him to retain his position and also escape from the case. But from what I understand there is very strong evidence against the Arch Bishop and he also have got another gang of the clergy who are baying for his blood. Arch Bishop and his land deal may have been the first few 'victims' ( ;)) of the Demonetization drive.

What I expect (and hope) to see is the typical Gujrati businessman mentality, playing against the KL based X'ian groups who also are a business/trader community. It cannot be a complete one-way deal, which at times is what X'ian groups used to get in KL. The main stream media also would have their own 'analysis' added in to muddy the waters further.

they will want their own candidates nominated by the padres, many more positions in the the higher (and also in the highest courts). They were, for the longest time, pushing for a state invitation to the vatican by the present GoI. These predatory padres have a long list of goodies that they want and a huge wish list of concessions and privileges

one thought that Alanchery is a cardinal
Alencherry, 72, was ordained as a Cardinal, a priest of the highest rank in the Roman Catholic Church, by Pope Benedict XVI in February 2012. He is one of only five Cardinals in India.

Now that Modi has brought the Vande Bharat express train to KER, what happens to the commie pinarayi vijayan's pet project and his commitment to build the silver line semi high-speed rail project

Surely a Vande Bharat express train can be run, with a bit of technical jiggery pokery, point to point between any cities in KER

A Vande Bharat express train could be run from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod in about seven hours or so.

Manish ji,

cardinals are the big boys, they form the papal conclave that elects/selects the pope

otherwise, like you said, they are padre pawns

whether B or C, for some of them, their love of the lucre far exceeds their love of their lord

or like the other abrahamics say, मुल्ला की दौड़ मस्जिद तक

truth to tell, it is a universal failing....
