Treason, blasphemy... Imran Khan faces 121 cases across Pakistan
PTI, May 09, 2023

Pakistan's former prime minister Imran Khan, who was arrested by paramilitary Rangers on Tuesday, is facing 121 cases across the country, including for committing treason and blasphemy and inciting violence and terrorism.
Khan, who travelled from Lahore to the federal capital Islamabad, was undergoing a biometric process at the court when the Rangers broke open the glass window and arrested him after beating lawyers and Khan's security staff, according to senior party leader Shireen Mazari.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party led by 70-year-old Khan recently submitted a list of cases to the Islamabad high court (IHC). The list states that 31 cases have been registered against Khan in the federal capital and 30 cases and call-up notices have been issued in Lahore, the capital of Punjab province.
These cases are related to various charges like treason, blasphemy, committing and inciting violence and terrorism.
According to the list, 12 cases of terrorism have been registered against Imran in Lahore and 14 cases have been registered in Faisalabad. Some 22 terrorism cases have been registered against Imran Khan across the country.
An Islamabad court is set to indict him on May 10 in a case in which he allegedly hid the proceeds from the sale of state gifts.

Still fluid situation but some really curious things I've picked up from listening.
1. Where are the PTI leaders?
Looks like they knew Dim was done and all took life jackets and abandoned ship.
2. Think that Army deliberately abandoned certain locations and calculated that the "jazbaati quam" will take the bait and marshallaw, the quam did not disappoint.
Widespread looting and arson seen.
3. Crore commandus did not crack down on internet/sm till nightfall.
Why?
I think they gave a false sense of control to the mango abduls and then came the firing squads (and none in uniform).
4. Islam bad high court declare arrest halal!
What exactly are the legal options left to the Tiger poop force of PTI?
He is picked up for an economic offense.
5. Nothing, not a squeal from ISPR...yet.
Nothing from their lackeys too.
Only few (& soon to be 72'd) Dim fan journos active from Bakiland.
Remarks on developments so far:
--> I think the operation "bleddy civilians" is a success.
--> Tomorrow, looters' and arsonists' who died in firing due to self defence will be in terrace of some hospital.
--> Widespread arrests and software updates to follow on wimmens and other small time jazbaati awam.
--> PTI "B-Team" will fight this in adalat.
--> Imran in Jail for a long long time is a given.
"Live long enough to see yourself become the villain"
--> Military has total control over the Religious nutjobs.

Would like to read all of your thoughts on this and correct myself on the wrong points.

Ayesha Siddiqa said that Bilawal was performing for the Boys in Goa. Given his rhetorics, now the boys are convinced that he will represent them well.

Dimran on the other hand also has been daring the Khakhis to move against him.

Meanwhile Shehbaz apparently had told the Khakhis that he wont be able to sign IMF agreement and take all the blame for austerity and face an election

All three were a factor in Big Danda Munir finally using his danda

Apparently lower level Kernails and Below are totally in Dimran's camp. Will be interesting to see if Kernails are now pissed with the life that Lootinent jernails and crore Kammandus live.

Actually there are two levels to it. The frustrated psychology at one level wants to destroy India to make it a Pakistan. The next maniacal level wants destruction for its own sake and justifies it based on this verse or that and dreams of 72. Most of our lot are in level 1 due to some tempering influence of being surrounded by Hindu society. Take it away and you will get Pakistan and then it's just a matter of time and trigger to get to level 2.

BRF has this habit of jumping on every wide scale disruption in Pakistan and assuming that the military as an institution is coming to an end. It will not. At least not yet.

This is a very strategic maneuver by the PA to let out the frustrations early, even against its own institution and give the impression to the people that they will be in the driver's seat. They let Imran go and slowly the kettle whistles down.

The military-civil service bureaucracy remains intact and resumes it's plunder for preservation. The army is the only functional institution in the country with an entrenched hierarchy and discipline. The people don't have an alternative.

Deen, especially the radical deobandi variety is British and amreeki gift to the subcontinent. Elsewhere in the ME, oil extraction needs stability therefore radicalisation wasn't pushed so much for decades. But there they made mistakes too, bigger ones to make up for smaller ones GW2 for GW1, WOT for GW2 fallout, ISIS for WOT ityadi depending on shifting internal dynamics and external factors. But oul stakes means can't radicalise too much. Else you'll get Pak and Afg.

+1… Just look at the threads on Pakistan that portend it’s demise, they are nearly as old as the forum itself, nearly a generation old.

Pakistan will stay because it’s 4 fathers won’t let it die. The military has outlived Soviet Union, the US and will now survive on Cheeni scraps. It is too cunning and knows where all the skeletons are buried for each and every player in Pakistan. Current drama baazi is just pent up steam being let off…

I agree with @RoyG and @Tanaji. Another observation is that no reporting is happening on any US MSM. It cam mean only one thing - the US/SDOTUS/CIA have intelligence - both directly from the RAPE Army and their own intelligence sources that Army has this under control. This whole shindy might have been scripted by SDOTUS even.

They all made sure to comment when Rahul Gandhi faced conviction and eviction.

Will they all stay silent this time?

1. ME has oil wealth which is a cushion.

2. ME doesn’t have the “unconverted Muslim”
aka Hindu problem. As the origin of Islam they have 100% conversion rate, so to some extent they can behave as a “normal” society, without the constant stress of having to subdue & eliminate 700 M kafirs who refuse to disappear for centuries on end.

Maybe Pakistan army is playing a deep game but it's also a fact that what has happened is unprecedented. Situation went from "you can't take army's name directly" to "mob setting fire to a crore kammandu's house" in a short span of time so even if army is playing a game it's taking a big risk. Things can go totally wrong and all this is happening on the streets of cities like Lahore and not Balochistan where army can use F16 and bomb the hell out of protesters. I think it all depends on whether Imran Khan's supporters can sustain the momentum for a few days. I am surprised at his street power. I never thought his supporters would attack army directly.

PML and PTI are at opposite ends of the seesaw. Military will throw it's weight behind the other if one gets too many ideas or the economy goes south. This is a controlled event. My guess is IK will be released and boldly state the revolution is over. Put some cosmetic reforms in place and Pakistan army bureaucrats will continue to run everything as usual.

They took lessons from AAP and Egyptian revolution.

Pakistan Army is now divided into two camps:

momin group
margalla group

the margalla group consists of brigadiers and above who will get more than PR 1.5 billion in annual remuneration (this is apart from other income sources which will run twice or thrice that) and thus have very little incentive to rock the boat. They will not point out that the emperor is naked.

the momin group of colonels and below basically operates on sidelines and makes money from balochistan via smuggling, narcotics, human trafficking etc. The momin group obviously do not get paid as much as the margalla group. Their remineration and incentives though 'industry leading' are now finding it tough against the runaway inflation. The less said about the lower ranks the better. They are in Imran's camp and see no better than buttering their bread and quitting fauj to join Imran.

The divisions between the two are now imperceptibly deep and usually orders fron above are not recd by the momin group. That is how the base security went for a toss.

Saar I think the crore kommandus get a cut in everything.
This is one well oiled cartel.
Some low ranking cartel members may like Dim but all would like head and torso to be united.
PTI Teetar space co host also confirming that not all violence was spontaneous. There were "na maloom afraad" embedded and showing the path to the angry youthias.
All in all the boys have played this one close to their 18" chest.
