Terroristan - March 31, 2022
Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
See the Pakistan defense forum defence.pk. Lot of entertainment. Some useful info, considering the internet is down in Pak and the posters in the forum are patriots who are unlikely to amplify bad news. Some developments:
Lahore Corps Commander (Lt. Gen Salman - of peacock and strawberry fame) sacked for refusing to fire at the mob.
Frontier Corps Commander also sacked/ resigned.
30 officers sacked (incl. 1 Brigadier, 2 Battalion commanders) for disobeying orders.
https://twitter.com/OSPSF
16 Frontier corps soldiers killed in a TTP attack on their post (40 more injured).

Hope our teams are ready to grab targets of opportunity during the chaos. It is a target rich environment if you are in the right place at the right time.
Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
There was a Paki general so grand,
His dreams of conquest spanned the land,
But a mob stole his peacock and strawberry,
And his job was lost, leaving him quite sorry.
Now his dreams of conquering India are broken,
And he's left with nothing but his words unspoken,
For without his peacock and sweet strawberry treat,
His chances of victory are decidedly bleak.

actually that general seemed like a half-decent man & an Imran acolyte. He asked his protection posse to step down and not fire at the protestors.
for some weird reason the ISI detachment tasked with securing the corps commanders house did not prevent the protestors from marching into the sanctum sanctorum and into his house.

On Fridin, what is the khutbah that the mullahs are delivering to the pious Paki public?
In general, where do the mullahs stand in the current conflict in Pakistan? Why the neglect of their opinions?

There seems to be a conspiracy at the top to get rid of the General.habal wrote:actually that general seemed like a half-decent man & an Imran acolyte. He asked his protection posse to step down and not fire at the protestors.

Normally, when there is rioting, the cantonment would be shut. There would be armed sentries at the gates. In this case, the gates were open and the mob which came in (unchallenged) headed straight for the General's house. Apparently one of his guards opened fire and killed 1 person. That would have resulted in everyone in the premises being lynched. The General then apparently calmed things down, let the protesters let off steam and take his peacock/ strawberries etc. The local battalion commander (the men of 21 Punjab would probably not have fired on fellow Punjabis) also refused orders to open fire.
Officers being sacked/ resigning are really the same thing. They can't actually be sacked without a time consuming court martial, so for H&D
purposes they may have been allowed to resign.

He onlee appeared half decent because it was a touch and go situation that could have ended very badly for him.
puki jernails are not humble by any stretch of imagination, occupying as they do the very top echelons of the food chain.
he adopted a soft approach to avoid being lynched or worse, because the jehadis are very partial, from times immemorial, to using rape as a cultural technique to subdue and humiliate opponents
the beedis will confirm this

Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
Imran's rabid swagger in post release messages tells us that he intends to go all out and if he succeeds by getting enough factions in the army to side with him, he can come back to power.
But that still won't help stem the internal systemic rot so I expect total collusion with China for continued supply of dog biscuits and a refocus on the external enemy ie India.
Perhaps it's time to pack off Dimmy is best for India line and see him for what he really is: A jihadi trying to prop up riyasat e madina with Indian blood.
India should also support rule of law and shore up other opposing forces to keep the infighting going on.

Let’s fervently hope and pray for Dim’s return
He and DmG faction will go ahead and do something really stupid either during kirket cup or G20
Any reaction from our side this time may or may not give us returns as Balakote strike
But they should be media savvy and release pictures and control the media narrative

Gentlemen, Dimran Khan Niazi has been released on bail, for 1 week I believe. However, they had also arrested a number of his supporters and leaders of his party. Have they been released? What about our very own Madam Jelebi? Was she released?

'From needle to bedsheet, PTI workers stole everything they could get their hands on'
"They also tried to rob banks," interior minister says

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan's arrest on May 9 led to chaos in several parts of the country as his supporters resorted to violent protests.
The economy took a hit during the period of three days — from May 9 to May 12 — as businesses were not only forced to close in the protest areas, but the government also shut down internet services to stop the party's dissemination of information.
But when mobs are on the streets despite law enforcers being present on site, things can go south at any moment. In the protests, around 10 people were killed and several sustained injuries.
However, this wasn't the only case.
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, in a press conference Saturday, said during the protests, the PTI workers looted shops, cattle markets, and weapons stores.
"They also tried to rob banks," the minister said.

The Guardian is well known for its left-leaning political views - so I find it noteworthy that they're keeping their distance from supporting Imran Khan:
Is there some underlying reason why Guardian and other leftist media might not want Khan to succeed? Is it because he doesn't support US on Ukraine?
Is the Ukraine war such an all-consuming priority for the Western Left that they're willing to indulge in Cold War machinations to thwart democracy in Pakistan? That wouldn't be very liberal - but maybe some kind of political realignment has occurred within the Left, so that they've disconnected from some of their previous moorings.
