Then the fireman can extract the pilot. Many pilots have been rescued from raging fires, by crash crew.

I as No.1 of 1 Sqn @IAF_MCC flew my 1111th hour on Mirage 2000. Flew aircraft KF-111. Took off at 11 hrs, 11 min, 11 secs. Went to Way Point 11. In formation with me was No 1 of the base in aircraft KF-101, and was flying his 101st hour. There were many more 1s that day.

Apart from the Sea Eagle, which is still in service, i believe they even use the Harpoon.

The presence of LDP from 1990's i was aware of, but this Jag had its starboard side 30mm canon removed and faired over, where this LDP is now mounted. Wasn't aware of this upgrade being made on the the JS fleet.

The last batch of single-seaters featured modernized displays and processor, plus the DARIN II system, featuring:

Replacement of the HUDWAC with an Israeli Elbit wide-angle HUD.

Replacement of the Sagem ULISS navigation system with a Sagem Sigma 95 navigation system, with ring-laser gyro INS and GPS receiver.

Replacement of COMED with a 12.7 x 12.7 centimeter (5 x 5) MFD.

A new LRMTS in a reprofiled nose.

An Elta EL/L-8222 RF jammer, replacing the right cannon, with the gun port faired over; an Indian-made Tarang RWR; and an Israeli IAI Malat countermeasures dispenser system, built in India under license.

A new autopilot, and twin mission computers built by HAL.

However, the above aircraft in the photo (serial number JS 132) was part of the initial delivery from the UK. JS 132 was delivered to the IAF sometime in the early 1980s. See the breakdown of the aircraft delivery, via serial number, below. Likely as part of a fleet wide upgrade, and to bring them in line with the last batch ordered in 2006, it appears they are removing one cannon in place of a Litening pod or a jammer.
