Pakistan did become a nation of goondas. Now India has a future. Pakistan does not even have a past.
first order of business for Brits and Europeans in North America(or Australia, or India) wasn't anything good either. That's not why nations fail. Or succeed.
...because he didn’t want a nation of goondas.
which is exactly what huge chunks of India has become. where people get their head cut off for posting on social media.

You raise a very valid point.

Europeans came from a culture of genocide. The killing of babies in Egypt is a shocking forerunner of the deeply embedded meme of god sanctioned evil.

As far as I know no devta, annhilated a people. Except Parsuram, and nobody worships him.

Does India have to go through 1500 years before its Age of Enlightenment, not that Africans or asians benefited from such enlightenment?

Canada struggling to keep the lid on their trove of war criminals

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/politics/article-federal-ministers-advised-against-releasing-names-of-900-alleged-nazi/

Ottawa Advised Against Releasing Names of Alleged Nazi War Criminals Over Concerns for Ukraine
Federal government departments advised against releasing the names of 900 alleged Nazi war criminals, fearing that it could fuel Russian propaganda and hurt Ukraine, while posing a threat to the security of surviving SS veterans who settled in Canada after the Second World War.

Earlier this month, Library and Archives Canada (LAC) declined to release a secret report containing the names of alleged Nazi war criminals who settled here after the Second World War in response to Access to Information requests by The Globe and Mail and Jewish organization B’nai Brith.

The decision to keep secret Part 2 of the 1986 Deschênes Commission’s report has been criticized by Jewish groups and historians worldwide. The government has faced calls for decades to release it.

Fury as Trudeau Refuses to Release the Names of 900 Nazi War Criminals Who Fled to Canada After WWII: 'Justice Denied'
Justin Trudeau has sparked outrage after refusing to release the names of 900 alleged Nazi war criminals who fled to Canada after the Second World War.

Jewish groups have called the decision, 'disgraceful' and say it dishonors Holocaust victims and survivors.

The Canadian government is concealing the list of names amid fears it could be too embarrassing for the country, TNC reports.

Large numbers of Ukrainian SS Waffen soldiers relocated to Canada following the war.
Punjabis and Ukrainians are both tied for 4th largest ethnic vote bank in Canada, after English, French, and Irish.
That's why the political rulers can't hand over any Nazis or any Khalistanis.

In all my visits to Canada, and there have been at least 15 over the years, I always noticed, and correct me if I am wrong. The different Indian communities/castes never really mixed with each other.

Apart from the Canadian government and politicians acting against these jaat caste obsessed khalistani thugs, the only other way would be for all the other castes/communities to unite against them.

For the first time this year I actually went to a Hindu Mandir for Diwali, never done so before in London. There were all sorts there. Afghan Hindus and Sikhs, Sikhs from all over.
Does that sort of thing happen in Canada ??

I don’t get to go to mandirs. When I did a few years ago there was no observable distinction of caste or colour or language. There was most certainly a distinction based on wealth.

I don’t see any Sikhs there. I did get invited to a gurdwara once. It was civilised but one dude insisted on taking the microphone. The sangat leader tried to protest. Of course he went on a rant. One of his issues was that a certain Kumaramangalam was made chief of the Indian army and not a Sikh. He made it a point to note that the name made him laugh.

I left in disgust.

I have been living in Canada for 22 years now saar and you are correct, you don’t see many sikhs at our events or Hindu temples. Also something to note is that Sikh kids born here are more likely to frequent gurdwaras than hindu kids going to temples and such (and iam equally to blame for this with my kids).

Brampton police (aka. Peel Regional Police) explain the purported attack on Hindu protesters by some of their officers

https://x.com/PeelPolice/status/1857063438842732558

Here are my problems with what the Peel Regional Police are saying:

- The officers grabbed the bat being held by HIndu protester who had only brought it there to defend his own place of worship after it had been violently attacked by Khalistanis.

- The Khalistanis were holding large flagpoles which were clearly used to assault temple-goers. But the policemen present had not sought to disarm the Khalistanis of their large flagpoles which were easily weaponized and actually used to assault people.

- Going forward, Khalistani protesters should be deprived of their flagpoles by police, given the precedent of those flagpoles being used as weapons by the Khalistanis. And of course any swords/talwars brought by them need to be confiscated too.

Inflation and cost of food are more problematic than before. This is noticeable even to those who don’t have to worry about the cost of food.

I did not realise things are so bad. I do not see this being an issue taking media space. Probably for the usual reasons.

I will look into it. If children are going hungry, that is unacceptable and I will make some donations.

Haha - a confrontation is looming between Trudeau & Jagmeet

Canada Post (Canada's postal service) is having a nation-wide labour strike, and Trudeau wants to force them back to work with legislation.

Socialist Jagmeet will be faced with a choice:

If he supports his friends in the postal workers union, then Trudeau's govt will lose the vote, and his govt would collapse.
At the same time, Jagmeet needs Trudeau's govt to survive until February, if he wants to qualify for his multi-million-dollar pension for himself..

So this is a Hobbes' choice for Jagmeet.

I feel like Indian groups should also organize a referendum to vote on whether Canada can be designated as Khalistan.

Such a referendum would be meaningless -- just as these referendum votes held by Khalistanis are also meaningless.
But as a tit-for-tat, it will drive home a message to the Khalistanis on the absurdity of their own actions.

There can be a referendum vote on declaring Canada to be Khalistan.
Also, the referendum can specify the capital of Khalistan to be Brampton
(Brampton would be renamed to Khalistan City, or by replacing B-R-A-M-P with K-H-A-L-I-S)

What next? Prohibit entry into India of RCMP officers as they are the occupying force on native land? As Canada prohibits entry of Indian security personnel who have served in Kashmir.

Indians need to realise that Canada is a messy electoral democracy much like India. It has vote banks, truths that dare not be spoken, et al. Public opinion is turning against Khalistanis. They themselves have insured the public becomes disgusted with them.

My advice, stop counter-demonstrations at khalistani gurdwaras, and any actions that cannot be corrected with a change in government. India’s responses need to be measured and sober.

Fully agree with that. Counter demonstrations only help further Khalitani narrative that "oh we are the victims". In fact, let Khalistanis become more aggressive and do their nanga naach. Usually I don't subscribe to Gandhian philosophy of non-violence, but in this case I think it applies well.

Not about making a point, but using protocols used for Pakistan is appropriate. There's at least one published case of a murder accused serving in the Canadian forces. Letting RCMP or other Canadian personnel into India will be aiding criminal activity in these cases at the least.

India would have grounds to ban entry of RCMP or any other member of the Police/military establishment, for their treatment of the indigenous people.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quebec_nationalism
The Quebec sovereignty movement (French: mouvement souverainiste du Québec) is a political movement whose objective is to achieve the independence of Quebec from Canada. Sovereignists suggest that the people of Quebec make use of their right to self-determination – a principle that includes the possibility of choosing between integration with a third state, political association with another state or independence – so that Québécois, collectively and by democratic means, give themselves a sovereign state with its own independent constitution.

Quebec sovereigntists believe that such a sovereign state, the Quebec nation, would be better equipped to promote its own economic, social, ecological, and cultural development. Quebec's sovereignist movement is based on Quebec nationalism.

Canada has the Bloc Quebecois, the political party which sits in parliament to represent Quebec.

But there's no need to go that route, when the Trump revolution south of their border beckons fatigued Canadians to similarly vote out Trudeau.
India's quarrel isn't with Canada -- it's with the Trudeau Lefty-Globalists who've been continually angling for ways to keep themselves in power by throwing others under a bus.
There's a large class of predatory parasite politicians who've become intensely addicted to Vote Bank politics, and who see Sikh votes as their easy ticket to ride.

The rest of Canadian population are tired of having to kowtow and cater to these wanna-be Taliban clones.
They too can be counted as political allies in the fight against Trudeau's predatory politics.

I've also repeatedly said on this forum that India should respond sharply and not meekly, by cutting travel visas, among other things,
India could impose some kind of insurance premium or surcharge on travel to India.
The fact that some people on this forum immediately pooh-pooh such responses shows their inbred slave mentality.

Well articulated. I do not understand why India did not go QPQ when Indian govt employees were discriminated and called out as genocide perpetrators by Canadian govt agencies. We have very strong grounds for not allowing any Canadian govt employee into India, unless they are vetted by Indian security agencies. They should be required to apply for clearance, which we can provide at our discretion, only allowing those whose movement benefit India.

Yet another further escalation from Canada.
Now their officials are again acting as anonymous sources, to this time accuse Jaishankar and Modi of being complicit in Nijjar's murder.
They've gone beyond accusing RAW, Indian gangs, then Doval, and even accusing Amit Shah, and are now claiming Jaishankar was also complicit.

EVERY TIME there's an international gathering (G20, etc), then Trudeau's people always run to approach Indian officials to make more accusations.
AND EVERY TIME the Modi govt people keep walking into their trap like suckers.
HOW MANY TIMES will Modi's people keep falling for this?
WILL IT BE A THOUSAND TIMES? When will Modi's people wake up? Trudeau's govt have made an habitual scam out of this.

What should instead be happening is that every time there's an international conference, Indian media should get out ahead of things and start snickering in advance about whether Trudeau & Co will use it as yet another opportunity for a stunt to approach Modi govt official with fresh accusations.

Looks like a co-ordinated attack on India/NaMo:
1. direct accusation by Justinder
2. Adani accused of bribery in US and Cong clamining NaMo protection
3. Needling Putin for escalation
4. Open declaration of Xtian state in Northwest
All plans to leave as much mess and soured realtions as possible

They have been saying "highest levels of Indian government" for a while, like some kind of threat. Now they are trying to smear Modi directly. Yawn!!

In Telugu they say when the royal elephant leads a procession, the street dogs always bark.

MEA's contemptuous response is enough. Soon they will stop responding and laugh at such news.
