A total of 175 people were killed, 9 were terrorist with 166 victims. Of the 166 mortalities, postmortems were conducted on 114 predominately male victims ages 5 to 70 years old; 108 of these were dead on arrival. Sixty-eight people died from bullet injuries, 30 from blast injuries, and 10 had both bullet and blast injuries. Six were postoperative deaths (all bullet injuries), of which two were early postoperative deaths and four late postoperative deaths due to septicemia.
Do we have the name of the victims who were children?

J-K: Killed circus worker was sole earning member of family
Deepu Kumar (27) was expecting his first child in June but his life was cut short in a terror attack in south Kashmir's Anantnag district, leaving his poor family without its sole breadwinner.

Kumar, who worked at a circus in the district's Janglat Mandi area, was gunned down by Lashkar-e-Tayiba terrorists in the latest incident of targeted killing when he had gone to the market to buy milk around 8.30 pm on Monday.

JK: Army colonel and major, Deputy SP killed in gunfight with terrorists

Three security force officers including an Army Colonel were killed in a gunfight with terrorists in Kokernag area of Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said here on Wednesday. Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish, deputy superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police Humayun Bhat were critically injured in the gunfight and died later, they said.

Reasi attack:

Driver Vijay Kumar hailed from the Dasanoo Rajbagh village while conductor Arun Kumar was a native of Kandera village in Katra, both in Reasi district. The other victims are Rajinder Prasad Pandey Sawhney, Mamta Sawhney, Pooja Sawhney and her two-year-old son Titu Sawhney -- all residents of Jaipur in Rajasthan -- and Shivam Gupta, Ruby and 14-year-old Anurag Verma from Uttar Pradesh.

Remember his name - Vijay Kumar. He did not let the terrorists in to the bus and was the first one killed in a hail of bullets.

Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal age 26 was killed on 22 April 2025 by Islamic terrorists in Pahalgam, J&K. He was recently married on 16 April 2025.

Defence officials confirmed that the 26-year-old officer, who was posted in Kochi, had travelled to Kashmir for a short vacation after his marriage on April 16. His wedding reception was held on April 19.

Narwal had joined the Navy just two years ago and was posted in Kochi. His death has sent shockwaves through his family, community, and the defence establishment. Neighbours and locals have expressed their condolences, with many describing Narwal as a young officer with a bright future.

Speaking to ANI, one of his neighbours, Naresh Bansal, said, "He was married 4 days ago. Everybody was happy. We have received the information that he was killed by terrorists, and he died on the spot. He was an officer in the Navy."
