The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has captured Mangucher town in Balochistan, Pakistan. The BLA's Squad has taken control of government premises and made hostages of some military and government officials. This follows recent attacks by the BLA, including an IED attack that killed 10 Pakistani army personnel. The conflict has intensified in recent months, with the BLA becoming more aggressive in its operations against Pakistani forces.

While ASim Munir is atop a tank yelling at India to take him on, the BLA is quietly moving from his backside and ousting the Pak Govt/Army.

// Just my opinion: IA/IN/IAF can take out Gwadar port (nail the chinese) and help BLA declare Baluchistan as free nation from the Pukes. India immediately recognizes a sovereign Baluchistan.

bala saar,

Don't want to rain on anyone's parade but here's what one sees

while many govts have expressed some "verbal" sympathy for you, who exactly is standing with you

you told everyone that you were "strategically autonomous" so now they are all telling you, (not in so many words, of course but in gist) go forth an be "strategically autonomous" and do what you want, we sympathize with your situation, understand your compulsions and accept the fact that tough measures are required to handle terrorists, need revenge etc etc, but other than that, please go and screw yourself, in a "strategically autonomous" way of course. Nothing personal, you understand. It's just business

no one has sanctioned the pakis, not even one country has taken measures against them. the russkis are ambivalent and if one cannot figure out if the russkis stand with India, it would be very wise to presume that they do not

not lanka, not nepal, not maldives, not anyone in africa, caribbean, (in spite of the feet touching) or anyone in the gulf

they have all made fools of you, taken your free vaccines, grains, weapons, aid money, copious help for floods, earthquakes, medical visas, scholarships to IIT etc, student visas, low interest loans, grants and and what not, and yet not one will stand with you

words mean jack$hit, its the tangible actions that count.

even the amrikis have started to tell you that you need to talk to the pakis

The totality of non kinetic steps/options taken so far by India is more than enough to greatly cripple the pakis and their awam socially, psychologically, and economically. They will be forced to remember India, every single day, every single meal and and every single time they need medicines

So, where does that leave you, and India finally ...... talk or shoot .......

damned if you do and damned if you don't

Does Pak hav enough traffic near Somalia or such regions ?
The size of Pak's merchant fleet is negligible. If we declare a shipping embargo, it will be a self goal, as Pak will declare the same against us and
ships will avoid India as a precaution. We unofficially export to Pak via Dubai. We need to go after the re-exporters. Branches of their company are probably based in India.

Chetak saar, Great post.

I might add that this episode has touched a raw nerve in the entire nation. Even those in Kashmore, who seem mighty pleased with the bonanza of tourism flooding their state, are a bit taken back by the brutality, savageness committed by Puke land terror Inc. Across the board in India even politicos are mighty upset at the turn of events and want retribution for the heinous crime. India has to take such sentiments into consideration and calibrate an appropriate response in a short time, cannot prolong things. The expectations by others is similar. The PA/ISI/LeT consortium has to be at the receiving end. Balakot did achieve some peace for a while for India but terrorists often forget the lesson. Even though China had initially distanced itself, make no mistake they are with Puke land to the hilt and rushing in arms/ammo/weapons to PA. The strike on Puke terror has to take into consideration the escalatory ladder, risks, retaliation and more. Hopefully with Modi in charge and a CDS all these can be hashed out in closed rooms and an appropriate plan can be executed.

India has to take its position in the world (#4, soon to be #3) and wear the big pants. Worldwide dadagiri, with terror punks like the Pukes have to be taken in stride and dealt with on a firm basis.

Had anyone noticed it? Most of the victims of terrorist attacks in the past in Jammu and Kashmir included women and children. But this time terrorists deliberately avoided them. It is a clear case of influence by Pakistan to reduce the shock and potential massive retaliation by India. In other words, the Balakot strike by India is still influencing Pakistan. But we didn't follow up properly.

Pakistan's government put an ambitious canal project on hold after violent protests against it in the Sindh province. The project proposed to divert water to Punjab's desert region, triggering fears of water shortage in downstream Sindh. The setback comes after India suspended the Indus Waters treaty with Pakistan over last week's Kashmir attack. Palki Sharma tells you how water is destabilising Pakistan.
water crisis- fights between sindh and punjab.

The existing crisis will multiply manifold with Indus water treaty abeyance.

minimal Indian casualties.

Hope the nascent sindhudesh independence movement gets a fillip.

Just so that everyone esp Indian and being Hindus are clear. This war is waged at childhood level. Though not in Bharat. my kid has been exposed to this virus of kafir. My kid was told by his friend of similar age ( barely double digits in age) that he was a kafir and terr0istan defeated India over kashmir in all wars. Similar stuff happened to my other friend also yindu kid of similar age but different class.

My kid now dissociates from these folks. simply moves with other indian origin kids by default all of them yindus! and other kids some christian etc.

------------------------------------------
sad news is these kids parents (terr0istan orgins)are my collegaues in my work place. we know them and have gone to their homes -- kids have played together etc.

These buggers are a different breed altogether.

People need to keep their powder dry. Let the process work out. The abeyance of the IWT, end of the LoC ceasefire, deployment of naval assets, and autonomy to the armed forces to retaliate is all that India has done. The window to strike is until mid-July when the monsoon comes into full effect over TSP. Give the the Modi government time - they know their limitations and capabilities.

Chetak sir, this is not new and has been known for long.

It's not strictly illegal either.

Indian entities can sell to any party and they can resell to the pakis, after adding their own margins.

The Pakis are paying a lot more for our products in a bid to save their enchandee.

This was due to the ban on Indian imports by order of the great charsi Pathan in response to abrogation of Art 370.

Foreign policy implications : India's support for a two state solution to Israel - Palestine is on shaky ground. We have had a two state solution for India-Pak or even in Kashmir for that matter for 75+ years. How has that helped?

People who are asking for ASAP kinetic action, please understand that escalation ladder and potential for body counts both military and civilian and also if it ends a long drawn attrition.
Also what is the objective and what do we achieve with another Balakote strike!!
Another couple of years of quite period and then it starts again.
Dismantling the terror structure is a long drawn attritional war!!

Manish ji,

the desi media monkeys have been deliberately under quoting the illegal trade figures

The point being made is the $10billion and not the $1.24billion figure that the desi aman ke tamasha presstitute media is deliberately pushing while trying to hide more truthful figure of $10billion

Pakistan’s military readiness is facing a serious crisis. Due to excessive arms sales to Ukraine and others, it’s estimated that Pakistan can sustain only 4 days of high-intensity conflict. A strategic blunder in the making ? By selling its stock for money ??
Pakistan ORBAT expert Jaidev Jamval writes,
https://x.com/JaidevJamwal/status/19186 ... nX9Qg&s=19
Best part is the a huge portion of ammunition sold was from Pakistani Army's own stocks, not factories.

Now their defence factories are scrambling to buy raw materials. But it'll take months to produce required numbers.
Asst Editor, Foreign Affairs of WION. news channel says the same,
https://x.com/sidhant/status/1918671224 ... 8RCNw&s=19
Pakistan has critical artillery to fight for just 4 days: intel assessment
As I said earlier, after Pakistan is forced to respond to first Indian strike, the second Indian strike could be the main strike by India helping to grab massive lands in plains and across LoC. Hope atleast we decimate the entire Pak armed forces without telling the world and a limited land grab so as to not cross nuclear redlines. Pakistan can boast that they deterred India from conquering large areas of land.

Ten days after a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan inadvertently crossed into Pakistan from the Ferozepur sector, hopes for his return have been reignited following the capture of a Pakistani ranger inside Indian territory on Saturday.

On Saturday, the Pakistani ranger Khwaja Mir was apprehended by a BSF patrol team at Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer district. He had, reportedly, crossed into Indian territory from Fort Abbas, a small town located in Pakistan's Cholistan desert.

“A patrolling team of the BSF noticed the intruder and immediately detained him upon confirming he had entered from the Pakistani side,” said a BSF officer stationed in Jaisalmer, adding, “The matter is now being handled by higher authorities, who will determine the next course of action.”

BSF sources believe the detention of the Mir could serve as leverage to expedite the return of their captured colleague Purnam Sahu.

“We have been urging Pakistan to hold a flag meeting regarding Purnam, but they’ve remained completely unresponsive. Now that one of their personnel is in our custody, we expect them to initiate communication,” said another BSF officer.

Government of India has approved termination of services of Dr. Krishnamurthy Subramanian as Executive Director (India) at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) with immediate effect. Decision ahead of crucial IMF Board review meeting on financial facilities granted to Pakistan.
What is the significance? Pressure on IMF or protest on knowing the IMF support to Pakistan? Any other implications?

Diplomatic front:
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov during a phone call with India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar held talks on India-Pakistan tension after Pahalgam terror attack.

Statement from Russia:
On May 2, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, and the Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

The foreign ministers discussed current issues of Russia-India cooperation, as well as the escalation of India-Pakistan relations following the terrorist attack near the town of Pahalgam. Sergey Lavrov called for the resolution of disagreements between New Delhi and Islamabad through political and diplomatic means on a bilateral basis, in accordance with the provisions of the 1972 Simla Agreement and the 1999 Lahore Declaration.

The ministers also discussed the schedule of upcoming contacts at the highest and high levels.

Interestingly, none of the "South Asia" handles have covered the news of Baloch fighters taking over of Kalat and Mangochar towns of Balochistan.

Absolutely zero noise, like nothing happening. But hey !! Have you checked a single neighborhood of Islamabad? Stunning no?

As per sources on the ground, BLA is making the police hostage, patrolling the urban centres and setting up blockades on highways.

Right now the blockades are slowly closing towards Quetta, they are about 100kms out from Quetta. This will make the situation very interesting.
Deans or somebody else just recently commented in another thread that BLA can't fight Pakistani army as they lack sufficient resources. BLA is good only in guerrilla warfare such as setting up land mines, ambushing convoys etc. If Pak army morale is down and distracted with India border situation then hopefully extraordinary things can happen.

If the presumed reports of the lack of means of the Jihadi side to sustain not more than 4-7 days of war, how quick can the escalation ladder will be climbed.
I belive one of the posters asked how many rungs and where to look, here is a good read up for a starter:https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source= ... UcEJHvqa5E
I believe there are many rungs (some 80 or 90+)
I am sure the planners on our side woul have more intel on the enemy capabilities than YouTube Generals!!
And they would have taken all this into consideration for gaming the escalation ladder.

The IMF governs the IWT that was imposed on India in 1960. As TSP has complained to their masters in DC & London about the IWT, the IMF no longer has anyone in India to single out about it. The Modi govt. knows the US has the most leverage with the IMF. It will work with the Trump admin to block & delay any future IMF disbursements to TSP.

If the UK & EU don’t shape up, India needs to withdraw from all the climate nonsense treaties. Yes, it’s a sword over their heads.

Kalavai Venkat does a deep dive into the PAHALGAM incident and analyses threadbare what it would have taken the perpetrators to carry off this attack and the number of places security failed, or local help masked it. A bare-all account of the incident and are more planned?

Next up. I suggest Pakistan develop a missile called Genghis Khan to threaten Iran with.

Even if we have a whiff that they are assembling the warhead and we will do a preemptive strike. Same applies to the Chinese too. And before that happens US has a good handle on Paki nukes.
