We matched the engine wreckage, with the RD-93 engine that JF-17 flies. Stunning victory for Indian forces! More photos to emerge this morning.

India Today confirming Scalp & Hammer used.

Looks like JF-17 is down.

The Indian Navy was also involved in today’s missile strikes on Pak terror targets. Navy likely deployed loitering munitions.

https://x.com/manupubby/status/1919878689241673835 ---> Precision strike weapons from the Army, Navy and Air Force were used. Indian assets did not cross the border, nor did they need to. Give long range strike capabilities acquired over the past six years. The Navy, in particular, took a very strong view on the Pahalgam attack.

Wish we used Tejas for all the strikes or even Bisons. Would have given a clear message about our bench strength.

That will happen in Round 2 when Pakistan retaliates.
Rakesh Garu. True. but thats the whole point of our new offensive defense rhetoric. Why wait for Pak retaliation? Pahalgham was a reason big enough to strike the terror roots. merely shaking tree and expecting leaves to fall is our age old game, Hope there are more ops to come in the next few days. I wish Modi had made a statement: Pahalgham will be the last terror attack on our soil. But it takes a lot of conviction and nation wide support to do that.

What if Pak Fauj folds and doesn't do a retaliation, claiming they are showing restraint to maintain world peace. They will live to fight for another day and that will put us back at square 1.

Yeah Pakis need to be punished more. But let us see their reaction is probably Indian thought.

I do not believe they have this option. Instead of Indus river waters, missiles are coming their way. Damned if they do, Damned if they dont. They will retaliate and then the real hits will start.

The media are saying it was a three forces operation, Army, Air Force, Navy. How did the Navy contribute to hitting targets so far inland? Or were naval aircraft also used?

What's the Paki endgame here? Heavy shelling to what end? Surely these beggars can't afford to keep shelling this way.

Both. india is responding heavily. In fact silencing the the borders is what one of the channels are reporting. A lot of details in the fog of war.

Per reports : US National Security Advisor and Secretary of State Marco Rubio speaks with Pakistan NSA and ISI Chief Lt. Gen. Asim Malik on India’s attack against Pakistani terror infrastructure. Rubio was briefed by Ajit Doval. (India briefed US, UK, Russia, UAE and Saudis)

Not sure what to make of this from Indian side.
"Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature," India’s Defense Ministry said in a statement. "No Pakistan military facilities have been targeted."

To all members complaining that "this is not enough, we should have attacked the Paki military" : please be patient. Modi and Doval have no doubt planned for that too, they just have to wait for the Pakis to launch military strikes into India (in order to justify a full military response by India). Whether we like it or not, world opinion counts, in these matters. India has played this beautifully so far -- important supporters / friends (US / Russia / France / UAE / Saudi / African Union etc.) can still give India their full diplomatic and political backing, with a clear conscience.

Given the news about the PAF fighter shot down in J&K, it looks like Pakis have already started playing into our hands. Let's keep watching and see what they do.

Remember we are also trying to be part of the new supply chains, hence we can’t be seen as reckless (unfortunately) should the Bakis internally and externally get any ideas. so hopefully this ladder is planned accordingly

If I may, the constraints on India are more difficult than those to get rid of Hiranyakashipu.
