At best, very irresponsible journalism, I'd call it treasonous reporting.Baikul wrote: ↑07 May 2025 11:30At the very least an immediate and public printed retraction and apology is needed , prominently displayed.
In the coming info war, this will be used as ‘evidence’ by our enemies for decades if not forever.
It is critical that the Hindu publicly retracts and apologises. Today. And the statement should be worded precisely.
Twenty plus years in media and I can’t emphasise this enough.

Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
These are Lahoris. Full of bombast, but will fold at the application of slight pressure and do downhill skiing. This includes Munir and their Def Min. The IWT 'abeyance' was bad enough, coupled with the swift execution of the water stoppage. They were waiting for the punishment, like a kid waiting in line to be whacked by the teacher with a ruler. The only speculation was will the ruler come down flat or on its edge and how many whacks.
Nuclear sabre rattling bluff has been called out. Given their dire economic situation and scarce military hardware they are going to grab the opening that India has given them of not furthering the escalation ladder. They know they will get their asses handed to them if they retaliate in any way that harms India. Modiji will probably tighten the screws even further.
We have seen enough examples of downhill skiing:
1. Bush promised to bomb them to the stone age if they did not toe the US line and Musharaff immediately folded.
2. OBL was found and killed in Pakistan and one would have thought Pak would be toast. Demolished the building and kissed and made up with the US
3. FATF grey list and they put Hafeez Sayeed in 'house arrest'.
4. Caught doing nuclear proliferation and let AQ Khan be the fall guy to absolve the state
5. Kargill - When they are faced with a rout, Nawaz Shariff pretends he did not know what was happening and Musharaff acted in his own capacity.
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
There are some drop tanks reported by bee bee see. IAF has confirmed nothing lost. Raksha Samachar reporting a JF-17 down though.

Why did India break all norms of decency towards this gentleman and commit atrocities against him?

My blood boils when I remember the IC814 hijacking and killing of innocents. It has been partially avenged now with Masood Azar's family getting killed. Was hoping this pig would have died too. Time for unknown gunmen to start targeting masoon azhar, hafeez sayed and all other leaders. Decapatiate the leadership and anyone who pops up in their place. Show them no mercy
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
Based on the targets that were hit, most of them were less than 20 miles from the border/LOC. The farthest was Bahawalpur, which is about 60 miles from the border. Most of the munition used can be fired from within our borders to hit the targets and don't require IAF aircraft to go into enemy territory. Clearly there were no dogfights going on from the few video footage on ground. Hence most of the claims of aircraft shot down by Pakis is a bunch of bull. Even if they had managed to shoot down a plane, it would have landed in Indian territory. In this day and age with everyone armed with a phone camera, it will be very difficult to cover this up.
Best to treat all such news as unreliable, until there is irrefutable video footage that shows the real deal. In a crash, there will be tell tale signs of the aircraft parts/ tail, fuselage, engine etc. in the wreckage. I even take the news of the Bandar going down with a pinch of salt, until there is video footage showing the plane wreckage. And beware of the click bait type of guys peddling some other crash videos, especially when you can hear languages that don't seem to be from the subcontinent, but with some voice overs interspersing the video. It is not hard to make out the language spoken by Pakjabis - either Punjabi or Urdu. Hindi speakers should be able to quickly pick up a few words. Secondly, check the terrain and surroundings and fire-fighters, dresses etc. If you don't see shalwar kameez, probably not Pakiland.

IAF Su-30 proves its mettle again, despite being targeted today again by over 8 HQ-9BE SAMs and PL-15 BVR missiles of PAF, the IAF jet successfully dodged them all.

Rakesh saar.. the farthest targets were no more than 60 km from the border. I will be surprised if the IAF expended a 300 mile range, $2M Scalp for this.Rakesh wrote: ↑07 May 2025 04:25https://x.com/manupubby/status/1919860018645549435 ---> Very precise, very accurate. Like right to the scalp.
Hammer probably yes.
Lets see, hopefully we will know more. I find it hard to trust anything from Shiv - he has a huge agenda most of the time…
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
It looks like a combination of stand off weapons and missiles were used. Re: missiles, does that not break down the deterrence value of the nuke theory which stated that you can’t make out which missile is conventional and nuclear and hence will lead to all out nuclear war?
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
Btw Operation Sindoor what an apt name for all the husbands that were lost that day. Shabash!
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
Agasthiji, there are no reports of ballistic missiles used in this operation - it’s a mixture of smart guided bombs and perhaps cruise missiles. None following a ballistic trajectory.Agasthi wrote: ↑07 May 2025 12:40 It looks like a combination of stand off weapons and missiles were used. India has NFU and most of its tested deterrent is on ballistic missiles. While it does have long range cruise missiles that can be nuclear tipped, I am not sure we have mated them with a nuclear warhead. So, suffice to say, this was not destabilising from a deterrence perspective. Plus we are way down at that escalation yet…

Thanks Tanaji, but Nitin gokhale tweeted ‘prahaar ho gaya’ thought pun intended.Prahar is ballistic, no?
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
Has anyone from the government spoken about the significance of the name Sindoor. What an apt name, what a beautiful tribute to those who fell to Paki terror over the years!
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
ANI reporting - from Paki Abduls who saw 3 drones were used at least in one attack.

Guys do we really want AF to spill all details considering this is still phase 1 in terms of tactics ? I hope we don’t under the guise of jubilant behaviour
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
I don't think there will be officially any confirmation of which ammunition was used and from which platform for forseeable future. It will be upto ELINT/SIGINT capabilities of TSP and its supporters to find out.
I am glad we are able to hit them from within our borders and despite their Air defense systems (whichever systems they have).

Amazing Paki Abduls are supplying videos on the strikes to Indian news channels. It looks like they are not that sad that these sites got attacked.
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
There is no need for us to know the type of ammo, details of the op etc. Pak will eventually figure it out, by which time it might be announced.Sumeet wrote: ↑07 May 2025 13:19 I don't think there will be officially any confirmation of which ammunition was used and from which platform for forseeable future. It took them 3 days even with remnants to figure out that it was a Bramhos in Shorkot Road in 2022
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
There is some chatter about a dam structure targeted by India in Neelam-Jhelam area as part of Operation Sindoor. No idea where this is coming from.
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
Point is we could have done such things very easily. In most videos there is not even a siren sound detecting incoming munition, yet we are telling the world we did not target them. Pakis will be cursing the Chinese maal that hardly worked and now fear would have gripped on their vulnerability. So me thinks that after some cheese fire violation they will go to bed. BTW Indian heavy caliber artillery is used in some places to silence the guns. So probably some went off to permanent sleep.

Gobar times giving out the Chinese response to the Indian operation:
"India and Pakistan are and will always be each other’s neighbors. They’re both China’s neighbors as well. China opposes all forms of terrorism. We urge both sides to act in the larger interest of peace and stability, remain calm, exercise restraint and refrain from taking actions"
https://x.com/globaltimesnews/status/19 ... 5954807008
They are probably scared that pakistan will try to use the gobar weapons given by them on Bharat and this will lead to even bigger problems for them.

There are some Interesting videos from Jammu showing an Aircraft accross the Border in Sialkot sector being Hit and Falling down- many say JF-17 Shot down by Akash. Any word on this.
Unless PAF has lost Aircraft- they cannot let go, more the PA- PAF is the real Propaganda machine which claims it won in 1971 war also.

They get paid for these, things are desperate. Imagine being raised on a diet of TFTA and how superior you are in every way to the kaffir next door only to end up begging on the streets of Jeddah.
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
Not doubting you Agasthiji and no doubt you are correct but how does an Indian news channel pay an aam abdool in Pakistan? I am sure its not as easy as sending money to UK/Us
Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
OSINT telegram channel chatter is full with Fratricide event , PAF air defense system shot down their own F-16 over La-whore . Technical non compatibility between China supplied Air defense system (HQ-9) & Unkil's F-16.
There is a video of ejection seat also laying on field.

The pakis are going to come in all hot and bothered. Appropriate situation for an agile and low signature aircraft to let loose a few bvraams. Ok I will stop fantasising now. Jai Hind and hopefully Jai Tejas

I see a lot of aam-Aloknaths expecting to get ratification/ confirmation from Pakistan how much damages they suffered. These sanskari morons still don't seem to have 'got it' that Pakistan is a police state like North Korea where people can't even dream any dream other than the dream their Army tells them to dream. So I really hope these people stop smoking that hopium asap.
Maj.Gaurav Arya had time again said in his videos that such strikes are just pin pricks for the Paki army as long as their interests are hit. One would have expected a few missiles and bombs at the 'Fauji foundation' establishments and their farms where the pakistani generals raise their cows. So as long as their livelihoods are still safe they will just lie their way through these 'muttibhar sindhoor' strikes and continue.
The press briefing by the women officers was a nice touch. The jihadis seem to get a big ego slap when women fight against them. Maj Arya had also suggested that in future the bodies of dead terrorists should not be buried BUT burned with pig fat. It's these type of 'strikes' - hitting the Paki army's business and insulting the dead terrorists which might really cause a rethink in the Paki establishment.
Otherwise it will be the same old cycle of - Terror attack > Rona dhona/ gaaliyaan > Surgical strike > Taaliyaan > Repeat.
