Heh. Even better . Zee News is taking about "kabja" of Islamabad! :rotfl:
All this fake euphoria I feel makes us unprepared for the inevitable setbacks in an operation of this magnitude.

The same people who are getting imagination led orgasms will be the first to go into dhoti shivering at the slightest reverse.

The only reliable news regarding Karachi that I have found:
https://www.lloydslist.com/LL1153400/Sh ... sions-rise

Shipping lines start to bypass Karachi as India-Pakistan tensions rise
Some carriers have diverted from Karachi as India-Pakistan tensions escalate, with cargo being rerouted via Colombo and Singapore
New restrictions affect vessel movements, especially those carrying Pakistani cargo or calling at both Pakistani and Indian ports
Maersk says it will evaluate potential structural network changes, should restrictions extend

On the other hand a lot of them are writing completely anti India narrative stories - CNN and now Le Monde
To be expected, they are slaves to western status quo besides being islamo-leftists. Their tune will change totally in the next 24/48 hrs. But even if they dont, Bharat is beyond giving a flying duck.

At this rate by 4 or 5AM he will personally fly down to de-Salwaring ceremony at PindiHQ!

What are Republic TVs sources? The most fantastic claims are from this channel….

Pak has a capable air force and a capable army. They being jihadi murderers without honour doesn’t change this fact. It is inconceivable it will go south so early.

I doubt the whole 3 Awacs gone thing as well.

Maybe we need to start maintaining a tier list of sources based on reputation. (Tier 1 for official spox/handles, Tier 2 for trusted journalists, ANI etc , Tier 3 for Anon Twitter handles that have previously been accurate , Tier 4 for everything else)

So many claims made around 11-11:30 PM have quietly been deleted or forgotten for the next latest thing.

Usual shipping in other lanes but much lesser density near pakistan coastline though this would be the result of the shipping stoppage declared by Bharat yesterday as well.

32 missiles , 210 drones shot down - count so far - according to local live witnesses.

https://x.com/ani_digital

ANI digital handle has all videos of incoming missile/drone interception

And who is this local live witness and how could they distinguish between a missile and a drone in the middle of night, in a combat zone? These claims are getting ridiculous now.

Also folks IMHO this is war including an information war. Any positive news from Indian news sources will have to be taken in with a salt of prejudice but not with a salt of Paki-supporting prejudice. We have a lot of Paki and Chinese lurkers in the forum. We don't need to be like Indian Government who will release only responsible statements. If something is fake let us state that. But I have seen many posts where Paki narrative is immediately accepted but Indian narrative is taken with caution. The least we can do as Indian citizens is to support the Indian narrative and reject Paki narrative.

It is OK to flood "false news" with the intent of raising the angst and to make PA do rash things. Why do we need to arbitrate on every piece of information? Let it fly....

Credibility is a precious asset. Once lost it is difficult to recover.

When evidence or intel is less than definitive, as it usually is, credibility counts.

If you spout fake news, then when you have real points, e.g., about Pakistan perfidy, what you say will carry little weight.

Moreover even credible Indian sources will start to be dismissed as part of the fake news crowd.

Agreed with all of the above.

Add to that the likelihood that such fake news makes not a few Indians euphoric, takes valuable headspace and when it is disproved the subsequent impact on morale can be significant.

So far we’ve had claims of 3 AWACS down, an F16 down, a coup against Munir, BLA taking Quetta, Karachi burning, a pilot captured, two JF 17s shot down - any guesses how many are true? I can only hope
