Why are we noticing these drones only once they are in the air?? Why are we only 'responding' to artillery strikes by Pakistan?? Don't we have the capability or resources to track these drones and artillery guns while they are getting into position and target them before they strike??

Most of the drones are probably too small to detect unless they are well lit up against background clutter, which isn't easy to do at range, or in the look-down mode. It's only once they get inside the radar ranges of multiple high-res radars within our network that they can probably be detected. Which is likely why they could reach as far in as Srinagar.

Additionally, it also depends on the type of radars we have. Regular AD radars to track aircraft and missiles have a minimum blind velocity that these drones will be well within. What we need is a large network of high-resolution multistatic radars that can actually detect these drones and then track them. It's no easy feat. And one gets stuck with the tradeoff that high resolution requires higher bands, all the way up to mmW, but this comes at the cost of extremely limited detection ranges.

I think the latest set of drones and stones thrown at us are just part of a data gathering exercise they are doing for the Cheens.

So first 1.4 billion people need to believe in themselves and in their country. When they believe what they believe chota mota CNN, Reuters etc will loose their market share and eventually disappear. One visit by the PM all propaganda machines are shattered now.

Wear and tear reduction. Security. Also, the tyre's on such trucks are more appropriate for off road than highway driving, so it's easier to put them on trailers. An extreme example would be how we don't drive tanks on roads to deployment

Anytime pukis try to quell the Baluchistan rebellion we need to open up on the pukis' eastern front to relieve the onslaught on the BLA liberation fighters. There is no more consideration for anything for the pukis or their western benefactors. The traditional and absolute one sided reporting of history and events of the subcontinent especially of the consistant puki aggression and terroristic campaign against India warrants the total blocking of Western media from India. It will make no difference as it is and always has been that their media and regimes have took the puki side anyway. All Western news outlets and co-owned news units in India need to be kicked out and shutdown. Enough of their propaganda. When it comes to Western media we need to be like the Chinese and the Russians. Not allowed to operate in India or carefully controlled what they report from India. Any misinformation reported or omission of puki terroristic violence against India in any of their outlets in the west, they should lose even that limited access in India. This puki terroristic massacre that led to this war was not even reported in the West. This latest fighting between India and pukis is reported nonchalantly as if "oh here they go again, fighting over their traditional rivalary." ...and of course they report the pukis' version of events.

But snippets of legacy media reporting, interviews, discussions, QnAs etc, especially with official spokespersons and politicians across the globe are endlessly circulated and commented for / against on SM. So LM continues to have it's nuisance value.

Maybe he doesn't really know what has happened since he's been in puki custody. He's probably finding out now that Modi ji has had a lot to say in his absence. 😁

Which fellow? If you are referring to the prince then they are arranging a new show - Jai Hind Sabhas

To give it some credibility they are roping in some veterans (suitably aligned to their ideology)

ToI - Congress to hold 'Jai Hind Sabhas' from May 20-30 to salute Armed Forces
The Congress party will organise 'Jai Hind Sabhas' across the country from May 20 to May 30 to honour the valour of the Indian Armed Forces and raise concerns over national security, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal announced on Thursday. “Indian National Congress will hold 'Jai Hind Sabhas' across India to salute the supreme valour and success of our Armed Forces. We also must raise serious questions on security lapses, the Government's handling of national security, and its silence on the concerning involvement of the US in our national security matters,” Venugopal posted on X.

The events will include participation from Army veterans, Congress leaders, and the general public.

Slightly OT, but what happened to Philip? He used to incessantly peddle russian equipment and would not take NO for an answer. Haven't come across his posts in a few years.

Manish_P sir, this is the result of the conclave that the inc held in Ahmedabad recently, their 2 chief conclusions were:
1. To not be hesitant to say that inc supports minorities; earlier they used to be in two regarding this point

2. And more pertinent to the above, to counter "pseudo-nationalism" of the ruling party, this is first salvo of the above

🚨 Defence Minister Rajnath Singh: "I want to make one thing very clear — ‘Operation Sindoor’ isn’t OVER yet."

"What happened was just a TRAILER. When the right time comes, we will show the FULL picture."
This from Rajnath Singh who were earlier mockingly called Mr. Kadi ninda gives a lot of hope. One complaint is that we didn't destroy atleast a large chunk of Pakistan airforce. Anyone have a theory on what India's next plan or possible scenarios?
