Just wanted to say congratulations to all the members of Indian Contingent representing in the Asian Athletics Meet In South Korea.
We stood second in the Medals table with 8G, 10S and 6B, below China.
We were above Japan and well above the Host nation SK who ended with just 2G.
Great show team.
Hope the PM will meet the Contingent when they return!!

The blame game after the IPL tragedy in Bangalore continues unabated, and the congis are desperately trying to slime out of taking any responsibility at all for the deaths, while putting all the blame on the RCB and the KSCA cricket management.

They will also hope to skewer the dcm, hoping to shut him out of the leadership transition/succession that may occur towards the end of the year, as was allegedly promised to him by the mafia in dilli.

the long knives are out in full strength

Game, set and match.

The congi clowns tried to slime out of their responsibilities by arresting the RCB and KSCA cricket administrators for the stampede and also the deaths of 11 RCB fans, and suspending very senior cops for alleged negligence

Mota Bhai is far far smarter than these part time politicos and full time crooks

Image

Today, the toilet paper puts out the news in a very tiny little column, buried deep on pg 6, where the KAR cm coyly admits that he invited the governor

the BJP waited until the congi lies were all out in the open and then hit them with a sledgehammer

Without getting police clearances, the organizers went ahead with blessings from P masters who wanted to bask and get maximum mileage from reflected glory of cricketers.

Everyone will be made scapegoats but sadly. the people who need to resign and own up responsibility will stick to their chairs.

India tops medals tally in Taiwan athletics championships in absence of China.

Nonetheless to handily beat Australia, Japan & Korea shows Indian athletics is making rapid strides.

We may have to remove Harinder Singh as senior women's hockey coach given the poor performance in the league. He is unable to crack senior level hockey.

^^^ Gukesh tops the rapid segment convincingly!

Congratulations!

After Gukesh beat Magnus Carlsen, Garry Kasparov said:
“Now we can question Magnus’ domination. This is not just his second loss to Gukesh, it’s a convincing loss. It’s not a miracle… or that Gukesh just kept benefitting from Magnus’ terrible mistakes. It was a game that was a big fight. And Magnus lost.

The 14 years old Run Machine is making waves in Old Blighty
In the 5 match ODI's he has hit 39 yes 39 sixes!!
More that what rest of the high scorers on either side could achieve.
If managed correctly this boy could just break every bloody record

Its good that movies such as Udaipur files are made, sincerely hope they get a modicum of success that allows them to recover production costs. More should be made…

One topic of interest is the murder of two sadhus in Palghar, MH. There was definitely more to it then the story we were told given how the Maratha-wannabe-but-wearing-skull-cap at the time UBT covered up the matter…

What bad luck for Siraj! He even defended well to that ball…

I think Karun needs to make way for Sai…

^^yeah true that, but quite fighting last 2 sessions and Jadeja almost pulled it off
It would be harsh for karun especially given that maybe jurel may come in place of pant next match owing to his injury, but our middle order is still lacking, best of all would have been shreyas iyer back to the side, also easwaran has been on the sidelines for a while, maybe try him before sai

He would be the default choice, but I don't think he plays tests now, only odis and t20s, something to do with repeated injuries due to bowling loads, hope was reddy would sort of replace him sans the genuine pace, but he is still learning the ropes

Was trying hard to ignore cricket, didn’t watch it but TBH we should have won it today after all the effort that went in. Worst feeling is to make that avg tweaker a hero when he got Siraj 🥹… don’t quite understand why we have become such dour players of spin!
I hope some individuals feel pangs of regret at their shot choices. We made the opposition look better when we had tired them out. I think we had the right strategy but just didn’t execute … may be we could have been smarter just collecting runs ..
As usual we have a couple of travelers in the team but poor fielding and discipline is another reason why we don’t make the margins …. We still have some way to catch up with the goras in that!

^^That is because none of the players ever play in Domestic competition(main bone of contention between Anil Kumble and Virat Kohli amongst other things that persuaded BCCI to get another amneable coach for Virat. And remember the Same RS who talks too much on TV had no answer why Karun was kept out even though he was in a very good form then. The duo brought in Hanuma Vihari!!!)
Secondly with the tag of 'Dust Bowl' 'Rank Turners' yada yada, the top brass in BCCI pitch committee has such guidelines that turning pitches are gone
And they are set up in the Tests where the guys are found out just like the Ind-NZ series!!
Karun has had his chances and not grabbed it.
Either Gill moves back to his position (no 3) or AE/SS should be given the chance.
It goes to show that we have only one All rounder. WS and NR are overhypped as Allrounders.
Just to give you and example just because Dizzy G scored a double hundred against BD you wouldnt call him an allrounder would you??
And we have Chotu AKA Sarfraz warming the bench and cant get a shoo in!! He can get in if Gill moves up and Chotu slots are 4/5 depending on Pant playing (he should recover and be able to play)
Rain this week in NW so its not going to be dry (the pitch)
Maybe Arshdeep should get a chance if Bumrah sits out

Sarfarz should have been included in the touring team instead of have 4 openers and 5 if you add Gill
