drnayar ji,

The amrikis were interested in the Indian NE when no one in the world had even heard of REE, because their prize was the stupendously vast oil fields of the gulf and the need to protect them from undue outside interests and keep them locked and secure under the amriki security paradigm

It was the very same reason that the BIF were backing the LTTE to balkanize the south of India, under the guise of "eelam"

Thankfully, the lankans shot all the ltte leaders, including Prabhakaran's wife mathivathani, daughter and younger son balachandran. The lankans subsequently paid a very heavy price for defeating the ltte and the goras were instrumental in the price paid by the lankan state. It is no surprise that India stepped in to save the lankans by giving them huge loans during their recent crisis period

It was why the BIF backed that reddy dirtbag ysr to establish a abrahamic state in the undivided AP, and the mafioso parivar were full fledged backers and participants in this venture

when the ysr helo crashed and could not be found for quite a while, the family called the amriki WH and the amrikis were preparing to divert a satellite over the region covering the helo's flight path (when an active cell phone from the crash site successfully managed to ping one single cell tower after making several attempts to send the pending SMS, delayed due to bad weather and the resulting poor signal conditions and that gave an indication of the location of the approximate area crash site), and that was the raw power that the mafioso led BIF wielded in India at the time

In the closing years of the British rule in India, a secret plan was conceived and discussed at the highest circles for a crown colony comprising the hill areas of North East India and the tribal areas of Burma. The plan could not be implemented largely because it came up for discussion in the closing years of the British rule over India.

The plan has been referred to in many publications. What was of concern was that scholars have made reference to the Crown Colony Plan/Protectorate without reading the actual texts.

For too long, secondary references have been used in writing about these plans as the original documents were not easily available for research. There is a connection between the four plans of Reid, Clow, Mills and Adams.

All four were members of the Indian Civil Service, all four served in various capacities in the region and all officers left their accounts/notes perhaps not mindful that even if these were not implemented the notes would come up for discussion many years after their departure.

These confidential plans were drawn up by four members of the Indian Civil Service who all served in various capacities in Northeast India. The authors of these plans were Sir Robert N. Reid, Governor of Assam (1937–1942); his successor Sir Andrew G. Glow (1942–1947); James P. Mills, Advisor to the Government of Assam for Tribal Areas and States; and this latter’s successor and fellow officer Philip F. Adams.
When the amriki empire over took from the britshit empire, it latched on to these plans and convinced neverwho to "cooperate", which he did with alacrity.

This is also why mount the batten closed off the entire NE to Indian access (only a few access controlled roads, no rail, and only the odd airport to keep the virulent missionary activities a secret from the Indian jantha) and allowed free reign to amriki padres to do the dirty and this is why we are facing a crisis today in the NE.

Hasina has already pointed to the amriki interest in usurping the Indian NE. They now need a full fledged and completely controlled xtian country in the region to push their own nefarious agenda forward and the first agenda point is to balkanize India

Arunachal 60%

Rest of India, bhutan and beediland 20%

Why Does China Want Arunachal Pradesh? Raj Shaman

India is building a massive dam in arunachal to safeguard it's water

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E40ldWHHFCw

Govt Plans India's Second-Largest Dam On Brahmaputra In Arunachal Pradesh To Counter China

The union government plans to build India's second-largest dam on River Brahmaputra at Yingkiong in Arunachal Pradesh.

The proposed reservoir would store around 10 billion cubic metres (BCM) of water and will be built at around Rs 50,000 crore.

India plans to take up this massive project to counter Chinese plans to construct huge dams on River Brahmaputra (Yarlung Tsangpo in China).

River Brahmaputra flows for 918 km in India out of its total length of 2,880 km.

Though 75 per cent of the water that flows in River Brahmaputra comes from catchment areas in India, the major part of the water in the non-monsoon season is received from snowmelt in Tibet.

China's move to store or divert the river water in Brahmaputra may challenge the water security of India's North-East region and Bangladesh.

Thus, besides hydropower generation, dam building at Yingkiong in Arunachal Pradesh is expected to bolster water security as water can be stored in the rainy season and released at times of need.

Also, the government estimates that dam construction in the upper reaches of Arunachal would mitigate the effects of floods and China's capability to induce it.

"We have planned a project for its (China's dam building plans) mitigation in Yingkiong for constructing a dam in the upper reaches of Arunachal Pradesh.

And probably that is going to be one of India's largest dams.

We will hold water in that and will release it in the lean season when there is no rainfall to provide us (water) security," Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said

More on Sergio Gor. This is the NYPost (Murdoch media) so take with caution.
https://nypost.com/2025/08/22/us-news/t ... ntroversy/
.....The Post later revealed that he was dragging his feet on submitting security clearance paperwork, despite vetting thousands of Trump appointees himself.

“That’s what they call a soft landing in Trumpworld,” an administration insider familiar with the situation told The Post.

Several sources said that the FBI recently completed a background check into Gor after he belatedly submitted his Standard Form 86 (SF-86) paperwork, which begins the process for granting a permanent security clearance.

The findings of that review stoked internal intrigue over the past week as they were reviewed by West Wing bosses — with buzz mounting that Gor might be nominated as ambassador to Malta, his professed homeland, in a face-saving off-ramp.

He had maintained a temporary security clearance that was believed to have expired last month, though it’s unclear whether an extension was granted.

Gor had not filed the paperwork to begin the formal security-clearance process before The Post’s investigation was published in mid-June.

Sources who worked with Gor over more than a decade said that he spoke often of being from Malta, a small Mediterranean island, but officials in that nation told The Post they had no record of his birth.

It was unclear whether Gor’s murky national origin alone explained his reluctance to submit to a background check.

The Times of Malta reported in July that Gor was born in Uzbekistan while it was still part of the Soviet Union.
...
...
“I am pleased to announce that I am promoting Sergio Gor to be our next United States Ambassador to the Republic of India, and Special Envoy for South and Central Asian Affairs,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The special envoy role does not require Senate confirmation, but the ambassador role does.

....
It’s unclear what would happen to Gor’s White House role if the Senate refuses to confirm him as ambassador to New Delhi.

“First question [in his confirmation hearing will be]: ‘Where were you born?'” predicted a source close to the developments. “Senators are going to motherf— him.”
My guess is that Sergio Gor made misstatements in his immigration papers,, and that is too embarrassing to reveal when Trump is busy deporting people on the slightest of errors; and in any case, such misstatements would preclude Gor from getting a security clearance.

New Delhi, Aug. 13 -- Tightening the bribery case, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (US SEC) has informed the New York Eastern District Court that summons to Gautam Adani, his nephew Sagar Adani, and the Adani Group has not been served by India's Law Ministry for the past six months. The US SEC, in a filing on Monday, August 11, told the court that they asked India's Ministry of Law & Justice for help in delivering the summons and complaint to the defendants in India, using the process set out in an international treaty. But so far, the authorities in India have not delivered the documents.
AI tells me: “ If the summons cannot be served through the proper channels, the U.S. court may be able to enter a default judgment against the Adanis.”

The US Strategic Community thinks that China is the main threat to the US (e.g., see the confirmation hearings of the successor to CENTCOM chief Kurrila.)

Possibilities:
1. Trump thinks that China need not be the main threat to the US.
2. Trump still thinks China is the main threat to the US, but doesn't think India is relevant to the US strategic response.
3. (Unlikely) Trump realizes that the US needs India to deal with China, and first step to amend his mistake is to appoint an ambassador.
4. (Most likely) Trump knew all along that the US needs India to deal with China, but his personal ego issues take precedence.

I think (1.) is also unlikely, but many people do think it is a possibility.
(2.) is barely possible.

In case of possibility (3.), another step to be watched for is whether Trump announces before August 27th a 90 day delay in the secondary tariff of 25%. That would be a way of backing down without losing face.

But I think (4.) is most likely.

--
Second, Trump wants the Ukraine-Russia war to stop for his Nobel Peace Prize, but is afraid of applying maximum pressure (i.e., target China, Turkey, the EU, and Russia itself). So he will apply pressure to Ukraine and to India and lean a bit on the E.U.. As long as the war is not going to stop, he wants Europeans to buy American weapons to supply to Ukraine, i.e., let the American defense sector profiteer off the war with no cost to the American tax payer.

Trump was insisting on a ceasefire until the meeting in Alaska, but he now buys into the idea of no ceasefire, only a comprehensive peace deal.

--
Third, Trump seems to be on the verge of launching "police action" against Venezuela, but using the American military. I guess what's holding him off so far is his desire for the Nobel Peace Prize.

--
Fourth, I should add that in Trump world, mutually exclusive possibilities can be both true, or be both false, at the same time. Almost but not quite a practitioner of Chatushkoti.

Things appear more clear when seen in the context of two things:

- "Gilded age" (1870-1910) desires including annexations, tariffs, white-majority demographics (which is impossible now, with Gen Z being the last white-majority generation)

- Ego-driven desire to impose a legacy: this drives things like "asking/demanding" for a nobel prize, resorting to geopolitical tactics that look like taken from fiction novels, exaggeration of "achievements", abrupt changes of course, etc.

There is no point in pondering what the "grand strategy" and "thinking" is. Back in 2016 I too thought there will be some useful strategy and I supported it, but I soon realized this was not the case. I anticipated nearly everything that is happening now, including "project 2025" playbook.

It is not at all clear. He was born in the Soviet Union, Uzbek SSR...and not Russia. His parents were ethnically Russian. It is not known if they were living permanently in Uzbekistan, or whether they happened to be just temporary expats from the Russian SSR.

After 1991, there was no automatic (or easy) path to Russian citizenship for ethnic Russians living in the other republics. Most of the post-Soviet republics determined citizenship by legal residence.

In any case, the family had already moved to Malta around 1994 and the mother became an Israeli citizen (due to being jewish). It is not at clear whether they obtained (or even qualified for) Russian citizenship at any stage. If Gor somehow gets "denaturalized" in US he would still remain a Malta citizen (or potentially could get Israeli citizenship if he doesn't have it already).

Finally, Russian citizenship can be "lost" if renounced in the normal way, i.e. when applying to take citizenship of another country.

It is obviously an intent to derail global companies that are core engines of India's growth and energy independence. And of course, it is not a surprise any more for a BRF "rakshak" to see "takshak" posts disparaging India's green energy plans.

Endgame is to have a submissive and pilant government in Delhi who will work for western interests and begin the balkanization of India. It is not oil or rare earth or some other natural resource, it is just that a united India is in no ones interest.

About Adani, we need to refresh our memory and go back to April of 2024, the first two phases of polling was done and BJP had begun to panick, Modi's speeches became a lot more aggressive but he also said something intriguing about Congress' constant "Ambani-Adani ki sarkar" jibes, he said money had gone from the same industrialists "peti bar bar ke" to Congress just before the elections. Everyone in the political circles and in media said Modi's comments were pointed at the Ambanis and not Adani. Ambanis are old in this game and are close to the US establishment (and by some reports even Paki establishment), but Adani is relatively new and is known to be much closer to BJP. The fact that DOJ continues to purse Adani and not Ambani and Bissent's comments tells me that they feel getting people like Adani is the key to weakening BJP and Modi.

Expect massive amounts of funds for protests before Bihar and the next UP assembly elections.

Well, a data point. Soon after the Putin-Trump meet in Alaska, and 3+ years into the war, Russia strikes a Ukrainian town on the Hungarian border for the first time in the war, and the only target they hit there is a factory owned by Americans. What is the Trump admin response (provided only when asked by interviewers on the Sunday talk shows): "these things happen in a war".

Right now there is no oil in Digboy. That little refinery that is still in existence there imports oil it refines. The only reason to keep it up is because it is the first oil well of India. It is perhaps only place where you see signs warning you of wild elephants. The do visit once in a while and they set off crackers to scare them away.

All you want to know about Sergio Gor: From Trump:
I am pleased to announce that I am promoting Sergio Gor to be our next United States Ambassador to the Republic of India, and Special Envoy for South and Central Asian Affairs. As Director of Presidential Personnel, Sergio and his team have hired nearly 4,000 America First Patriots across every Department of our Federal Government in RECORD time — Our Departments and Agencies are over 95% filled! Sergio will remain in his current role at the White House until his confirmation. Sergio is a great friend, who has been at my side for many years. He worked on my Historic Presidential Campaigns, published my Best Selling Books, and ran one of the biggest Super PACs, which supported our Movement. Sergio’s role as Director of Presidential Personnel has been essential to delivering on the unprecedented Mandate that we received from the American People. For the most populous Region in the World, it is important that I have someone I can fully trust to deliver on my Agenda and help us, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. Sergio will make an incredible Ambassador. Congratulations Sergio!

Amber ji,

sergio gor has to get through his senate / whatever confirmation and it may not be so easy.

Dilli is very obviously not amused at this foolhardy appointment

gor has also been very cagy about providing personal details and hence his security clearance is stuck at a basic level for a long time

Without these two hurdles being cleared, there is no ambassador gor + multiple hats

I think their arguments are wearing thin . Russian oil is just and excuse. Best case scenario is that trump knee jerked after bad phone call with modi . Worst case is that they want to vassalize India or balkanize it which obviously won't work and then this is unresolvable.

Nothing that unusual ... Indian colors are routinely displayed in various countries , in similar cases, USA (Eg Empire state Bldg, Times square or republic days/ 15 august)), UAE (eg Burj Khalifa), Russia (Ostankino Tower, Moscow ).. similarly New Delhi does that too..

( Qutub Minar Ukraine Flag Day (Aug 2025) Lit in Ukrainian blue & yellow)
( Qutub Minar Russia Day (June 2025) Lit in Russian flag colors)
It lit up in the past for countries like Colombia, Mexico, Turkey, Poland too..)

ets the best deal,” even as Washington imposes punitive tariffs in retaliation for New Delhi’s imports of Russian crude, India’s ambassador to Moscow, Vinay Kumar, told Russian news agency TASS on Sunday.
The remarks come days after the United States slapped an additional 25% duty on Indian imports, taking the total tariff burden to over 50%, a move Kumar blasted as “unfair, unreasonable and unjustified.”
“First of all, we have clearly stated that our objective is the energy security of 1.4 billion people,” Kumar said. “India’s cooperation with Russia, as with several other countries, has helped to bring stability to the global oil market. The US decision is unfair… the government will continue taking measures to protect national interests.”
Kumar underlined that trade decisions are guided by commercial factors, not political pressure. “If the basis of trade is right, Indian companies will continue buying from wherever they get the best deal. That is the current situation,” he said.

The envoy also noted the irony of US criticism, pointing out that “other countries, including the US itself and in Europe, are still trading with Russia.”
Jaishankar hits back at US move

Kumar’s comments echo those of External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, who on Saturday told the Economic Times World Leaders Forum that India would not compromise the interests of its farmers and small producers. Jaishankar branded the US tariffs “unjustified and unreasonable,” stressing that New Delhi’s trade policy is rooted in protecting domestic stakeholders.

On the financial front, Kumar reassured that oil payments to Russia face no hurdles: “India and Russia have a working system of trade settlement in national currencies. There is no problem now in payment for oil imports.”

Looking beyond hydrocarbons, Kumar said New Delhi aims to boost its exports to Russia in sectors like electronics, automobiles, textiles, and construction materials. “Our exports have grown, but they remain far below potential,” he said, highlighting opportunities in digital services, financial products, and IT-linked industries.

The diplomatic sparring underscores growing friction between New Delhi and Washington as the US, under President Donald Trump, seeks to punish nations deepening ties with Moscow. India, however, maintains that energy security for its vast population is non-negotiable.

“The trade is based on market realities, not political dictates,” Kumar said, drawing a line in the sand.

Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar said he found it "funny" that those working for a "pro-business American administration" were not minding their own business and were instead "accusing others of doing business."

Never had a US President who...: S Jaishankar lays into Trump's foreign policy
Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar has described Donald Trump’s handling of foreign policy as unprecedented, saying the world has never "had a US President who's conducted foreign policy as publicly as the current one."

Speaking at a media event in Delhi, Jaishankar said, "That in itself is a departure that's not limited to India... President Trump's way of dealing with the world, even dealing with his own country, is a very major departure from the traditional orthodox manner of doing so..."
Jaishankar's salvo comes at a time when the deadline for Trump's additional tariffs is set to kick in just a few days away.

Jaishankar reiterated that there was no US mediation in ending the four-day India-Pakistan conflict in May, contrary to Trump’s repeated claims.

"On the issue of mediating (India-Pak conflict), since 1970s, for more than 50 years now, there's a national consensus in this country that we do not accept mediation in our relations with Pakistan," he added.

On the US levying 50 per cent tariffs on Indian goods, Jaishankar said that the interests of domestic farmers reign supreme in any trade negotiations.

"When it comes to trade, the interests of farmers, when it comes to our strategic autonomy, when it comes to opposition to mediation, this government is very clear. Our positions are there. If anybody disagrees with us, please tell the people of India that you are not prepared to defend the interests of farmers. Please tell the people of India you don't value strategic autonomy," he further said.

Jaishankar said he found it "funny" that those working for a "pro-business American administration" were not minding their own business and were instead "accusing others of doing business.
"

"If you have a problem buying oil or refined products from India, don't buy it. Nobody forces you to buy it. Europe buys, America buys, so you don't like it, don't buy it," he said.

Even though the US delegation called off its August visit to India, Jaishankar said trade negotiations between New Delhi and Washington are still underway. However, he drew a red line on protecting the rights of farmers and small producers when it came to trade negotiations.

"Negotiations (India-US trade negotiations) are still going on. But the bottom line is we have some red lines. Negotiations are still going on in the sense that nobody said the negotiations are off. People do talk to each other. It's not like there's a 'katti' (breaking friendship) there," the foreign minister said.
