Kerala police books Hindus for making Pookkalam with ‘Operation Sindoor’ on it, image of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, says it was ‘done to cause riots’ between ‘political groups’: No rights for Hindus in Communist Kerala
https://www.opindia.com/2025/09/kerala- ... ights-for/
In a condemnable incident, Kerala police booked Hindus for creating Pookkalam (flower art) containing the name of ‘Operation Sindoor’, in which the Indian Armed Forces destroyed terrorist camps in Pakistan and the PoJK, in retaliation for the ghastly Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 Hindu tourists were killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists after verifying their identity. Some people were also booked for erecting banners containing the image of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The seemingly unfair police action was condemned by the Kerala BJP, which termed it “atrocious and unacceptable”. Demanding the withdrawal of the FIR, the party reminded the police that Kerala is not Pakistan, where celebrating the valour of the Indian Armed Forces would constitute a crime.

“In Kerala, an FIR has been filed for making a Pookkalam with “Operation Sindoor” on it. If this happened in Pakistan, it may have been expected but in India, it is atrocious & unacceptable. Operation Sindoor is Bharat’s pride, symbolising the valour of our armed forces. The target is to insult every soldier, including thousands of Malayalis who wear the uniform, guard our borders, and sacrifice their lives for the Tricolour. Kerala is not Pakistan and will never be a land where Jamaat-e-Islami dictates. On behalf of every patriotic Malayali, the BJP strongly condemns this shameful act and demands immediate withdrawal of the FIR, failing which we will be compelled to seek legal recourse,” BJP Kerala wrote on X.

TMC MLA Abdur Rahim Bakshi threatens to burn BJP MLA’s face and mouth to ashes by pouring acid, instigates party workers to rip down BJP flags
https://www.opindia.com/2025/09/tmc-mla ... ring-acid/

In a shocking threat, Trinamool Congress (TMC) district president and MLA Abdur Rahim Bakshi from Malda district has threatened to pour acid in the mouth of a BJP leader. He made the comments against BJP MLA Shankar Ghosh while speaking at a protest rally on Saturday against alleged “atrocities” faced by Bengali-speaking migrant workers.

Without naming the BJP legislator directly, Bakshi delivered a chilling warning, if he heard disparaging remarks about Bengali migrant workers again, “I will burn your voice to ashes with acid inside your mouth.” He was referring to Shankar Ghosh’s comments describing migrant workers as “Rohingyas” or “Bangladeshis.”

India is planning to develop Great Nicobar Island into a hub comparable to Singapore.
The project carries immense strategic and economic significance.

And that’s exactly why anti-India forces are desperate to block it, they know how powerful it will be at the gates of the Malacca Strait.

For Gandhis, blocking India’s rise has always been the family business.

NIA Raids 6 States, Terror Conspiracy Case Leads To Search Operations
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out massive search operations across six states in connection with a terror conspiracy case. Teams conducted simultaneous raids in multiple locations to track networks suspected of plotting anti‑national activities. Several incriminating materials and digital evidence were seized during the searches. The NIA crackdown marks a major step in unearthing terror funding and sleeper cells operating in different parts of the country. Authorities have assured stringent action against those linked to the conspiracy as the investigation deepens.

The "beauty" is that the man in skull cap is a Hindu by birth Congress "leader" by the name of VT Balram. He had once said that he could win his constituency without even a single "Nair" (upper caste Hindu, to which he belongs) voting for him. Such is his confidence on the peacefuls.

CSDS, The Spider Web – Undermining India’s Democracy: Detailed research paper on the foreign funding nexus
https://www.opindia.com/2025/09/cads-re ... democracy/

This research paper undertakes an exhaustive investigation into the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), scrutinising its history, ideological orientation, funding ecosystem, and collaborations with foreign entities. The analysis contends that CSDS operates as a node in a transnational network of NGOs, think tanks, and media organisations that are ideologically opposed to India’s interests—particularly those of its majority Hindu population and the democratically elected government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This executive summary distils the paper’s major revelations, critiques the intentions and motivations at play, and exposes the coordinated efforts of CSDS and its funders to influence India’s political and social discourse, furthering foreign interference in India’s democracy and undermining India’s sovereignty at the behest of foreign powers and furthering the foreign policy agenda of other countries under the pretext of research and civil society activism.

Origin and Ideological Leanings of CSDS

CSDS was established in 1963 by Rajni Kothari, whose early academic work and later activism display a consistent bias against Hindu society, secularisation of the state, and a tendency to launder divisive, caste-based, and anti-majority narratives through academic jargon. The paper traces CSDS’s roots to foreign-sponsored entities such as the Asia Foundation—a CIA front—making it clear that its founding moment was tainted by external influence. Over decades, CSDS leadership and faculty have cultivated an intellectual project that pathologises India’s majority community, champions false minority victimhood, and provides ideological ammunition for adversarial foreign policy goals, particularly those aimed at undermining the sovereignty and unity of India.

The Foreign Funding Web: Cash, Collaboration, and Confluence of Interests

CSDS’s operational and research budgets are sustained not only by Indian government grants (primarily through the Indian Council of Social Science Research, ICSSR) but also reveal a heavy and steadily increasing reliance on foreign funding. Since 2016, CSDS has received at least ₹15.6 crore via FCRA, though actual foreign receipts are likely far higher due to incomplete disclosures. Major foreign contributors include:

Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS): The German government-funded foundation, directly affiliated with the ruling Christian Democratic Union (CDU), has donated over ₹2.6 crore since 2016. KAS’s explicit mandate is to advance German foreign policy and Western democratic values, which often align with undermining or “reforming” target countries’ political cultures and supporting regime change operations.

International Development Research Centre (IDRC): A Canadian crown corporation, IDRC provided up to a third of CSDS’s annual budget (over 8 years) under its Think Tank Initiative. IDRC is an arm of Canadian foreign policy, and its support focused on amplifying identity-based and separatist agitations. Canada’s open patronage of Khalistani secessionists further compounds the strategic risk posed by its funding of Indian civil society and think tanks.

Siemenpuu Foundation: This Finnish NGO, bankrolled by Finland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, funds “ecological democracy” projects via CSDS and its offshoots (notably SADED). Siemenpuu’s India interventions are framed around “supporting Adivasis,” but their networks and dialogue platforms routinely provide oxygen to Naxal-aligned and anti-Hindu intellectuals and activists, often amplifying Western narratives about oppression and dispossession in India.

Berggruen Institute: Founded by a globalist billionaire, the BI’s anti-India and anti-Hindu output is disseminated through its magazine “Noema,” which repeatedly denigrates India as authoritarian, communal, and backward—often using overtly ideological and factually selective authors, including those with links to hostile Pakistan and anti-Indian Western lobbies.[1]

Ford Foundation, Henry Luce Foundation, Omidyar, Open Society Foundations: These U.S.-based entities are well-documented for funding regime change, “civil society empowerment,” and promoting identity politics internationally. Their support to CSDS directly or via collaborative projects (such as the “Indian Muslims Project”) habitually seeds, amplifies, and exports the victimhood and “rising fascism” narrative about India and its government.

Sciences Po/FNSP: France’s premier political science institution, through the FNSP, made substantial financial contributions to CSDS. Its faculty, notably Christophe Jaffrelot, has routinely produced research critical of Hindu identity politics and the Modi government, contributing to a hostile international narrative.

Collusion with Western Media, “Investigative” Networks, and Regime Change Actors

The research details how CSDS and its research/policy ecosystem—Lokniti, SADED, and affiliated academics—are intricately connected to and promoted by Western “media freedom” and “investigative journalism” networks (such as GIJN, OCCRP, Bellingcat, Reporters’ Collective, RSF, and others). The overlap is not accidental: these global networks have documented histories of receiving support from the U.S. State Department, NED (an acknowledged CIA offshoot for regime change), Soros’s Open Society, and European government agencies. Through these channels, Western intelligence and political actors shape India’s media and research discourse, selectively funding those who amplify Western policy priorities and narratives of India’s failure, oppression, or “authoritarian drift”.

This nexus generates a feedback loop: foreign-funded Indian researchers produce alarmist reports on India’s democracy, media, or communal situation; these are then cited in global “freedom indices” and media exposés, which, in turn, justify more foreign funding and “democracy assistance” to a curated set of Indian actors—many of whom have either direct or indirect links to urban Naxals, separatists, and radical activists.

Intellectual Strategy: Caste, Minority Victimhood, Anti-Hindu, and Anti-Nationalism

The CSDS’s research, publications, and “surveys” are found to advance four strategic goals consistently:

Divide Hindus: CSDS research uses Western sociological categories and caste frameworks to amplify intra-Hindu divisions—especially by alienating Dalits, Adivasis, and OBCs from their Hindu identity, and by framing political outcomes through the lens of caste oppression and “majoritarian tyranny.” The creation and perpetuation of these fault lines mirror the strategies advocated by known separatist outfits like PFI and global anti-India campaigners.

Promote Dalit-Muslim Unity narrative: The CSDS repeatedly attempts to hyphenate Dalit and Muslim victimhood, asserting that both face oppression from Hindus or the state, and that unity between them—often at the expense of Hindu social cohesion—is necessary for “democracy”.

Demonise Hindus and the Indian State: CSDS scholars, affiliated journalists, and collaborators like Ashis Nandy and Ananya Vajpeyi, systematically paint Hindus as fascists, bigots, or perpetrators of violence, even when evidence disproves these claims (e.g., Godhra 2002, Delhi 2020). Their research is weaponised to delegitimise Indian nationalism, justify external intervention, and feed global media outrage cycles.

Undermine Indian Sovereignty: Foreign-funded CSDS research and agenda provide spin and intellectual cover for “civil society” agitation, street protests, and social media campaigns that regularly challenge the legitimacy of the Indian state, undermine national unity in Kashmir or the Northeast, and advocate for changes in laws or policies that align with foreign interests—often directly at odds with democratic majorities or the elected government.

Pak Terror Bust: Major Terror Module Busted By Delhi Police, 5 Suspects Arrested

Delhi Police Special Cell has successfully busted a major terror module linked to Pakistan and arrested five suspects across multiple states including Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Hyderabad, and Ranchi. The investigation revealed that the accused were in constant contact with handlers in Pakistan through encrypted social media platforms, using these channels to radicalize youth and recruit them into their network. The police recovered materials and components suspected for use in making improvised explosive devices (IEDs), including chemicals, electronic circuits, and a country-made pistol with live ammunition.

The terror module operated under the leadership of a key member, Ashraf Danish, who coordinated activities from India while maintaining links with operatives in Pakistan. The group also ran online networks aimed at spreading communal hatred and disturbing religious harmony. Raids were conducted across several states, and authorities continue to search for other members of the network. Republic TV brings live updates on the investigation, security implications, and official statements from law enforcement agencies as India strengthens its counter-terror efforts.

IIT Bombay Poster Mocking Top Leaders Sparks Nationwide Controversy
A poster at IIT Bombay mocking top political leaders has triggered outrage and a heated national debate. The controversy has sparked questions on freedom of expression, student politics, and political intolerance in India.

The Anchor thinks that it's their freedom to block the person questioning IIT Bombay. Its not only wrong but a very dangerous statement and ignorance on the part of Anchor. This is not a private institute or a private person but a public entity that is blocking citizens questioning them. That's clear-cut violation of Freedom of Speech and dictatorial behavior by public servants. This kind of behavior should never be allowed in a democracy.

A post regarding a flyer of a workshop on South Asian Capitalism was brought to the attention of the Institute authorities. This workshop is to be held at University of Berkeley in partnership with UC Berkeley and University of Massachusetts-Amherst for young scholars.
IIT Bombay has a project related to New Political Economic Initiative. However, we were totally unaware about the published flyer. Upon hearing about this post, we issued immediate instructions to the organisers to take down the flyer from all social media platforms and remove IIT Bombay's name from everything to do with this event.
The details of the programme have been removed from the website of New Political Economy Initiative with immediate effect. No one from IIT Bombay is attending the conference. The Institute was not at all consulted about the flyer. We are deeply shocked and upset by its content.
The Institute will cease to associate with these faculty members from UC Berkeley and University of Massachusetts-Amherst going forward.
Further investigation into the matter will be conducted.

In India, calling for a violent overthrow of a democratically elected govt is a crime. It falls under laws against sedition and waging war on the state.

Peaceful dissent is a right, but glorifying what happened in Nepal and urging Indian youth to 'topple the govt by force' is incitement, not free speech.

Modi govt should pick up a few of these loud voices and make an example out of them. Criticise, protest, even demand resignations, that’s democracy. But urging young people towards violent rebellion by romanticising it as a 'youth revolution' is criminal, and it should be dealt with as such. If only Modi were 1% of the dictator they accuse him of being.

Rahul Gandhi’s ‘vote chori’ document was made out of India? Congress tries to defend itself as tech details hint at foreign collaboration
https://www.opindia.com/2025/09/congres ... -analysis/

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had shared the document on his website, which was hyperlinked to the text ‘Vote Chori Proof.’

A total of 3 PDF files could be found in a Google Drive folder named ‘Rahul Gandhi’s Presentation.’ The files contain the English, Hindi and Kannada versions of the document presented the Congress leader in his 7th August presentation.

The X (formerly Twitter) handle ‘khurpenchh’ analysed the metadata of the files. For the unversed, metadata is information about a file which is different from the content of the file.

Information such as author, creation date, time and size is furnished by the metadata of a file. It makes it easy to use, search and organise data.

In its analysis, the X user ‘khurpenchh’ found that all three versions of Rahul Gandhi’s presentation have been created in the Myanmar Standard Time (MMT).

MMT refers to the timezone of Myanmar, which is 6 hours and 30 minutes ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). For context, Indian Standard Time (IST) is 5 hours and 30 minutes ahead of UTC.

PDF files created in India will have the exact UTC + 5:30 and not 6:30, as evident from metadata analysis of the Congress leader’s vote chori document.

The X user ‘khurpenchh’ further pointed out that the use of VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) and file sharing through Google Drive does not alter the embedded metadata of PDFs.

X (formerly Twitter) handle ‘khurpenchh’ highlighted how Adobe addresses bugs immediately and fixes them right away. It pointed out the exact software versions and asked to specify which bug changed IST to MMT.

It further stated that the PDF was created using Adobe Illustrator and it did not make sense to compare it with other Adobe products such as Lightroom and Bridge.

When some Congress sponsored trolls presented the case of a ‘timezone related bug’ in Lightroom, the X handle pointed out that the said bug was fixed 14 years ago and that there was no such bug in Adobe Illustrator (which was used to create Rahul gandhi’s vote chori document).

Supriya Shrinate and Rahul Gandhi are yet to respond to these serious charges.

EP-344 | Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka: ‘Deep State’ Behind Regime Change? | Pavneet Singh
Pavneet Singh is an author, teacher, and content creator who makes videos on geopolitics, foreign affairs, and international relations. Over the years, he has carved a niche for himself by simplifying geopolitics into layman’s terms, making it easy for everyone to understand. He also runs a popular YouTube channel called SpyGamesPavneet.
In this edition of the ANI Podcast with Smita Prakash, Pavneet discusses how governments are being toppled in South Asia, with Nepal serving as the latest example. Is there a foreign hand at play, or was it truly a people’s revolt? He also shares his views on the India–US trade dispute and why ties between the two countries have hit their lowest point in the last two decades.
Pavneet further discusses Prime Minister Modi’s visit to China after seven years, and whether India should be cautious in resetting its ties with Beijing. The conversation also touches upon Pakistan, Operation Sindoor, the Russia–Ukraine war, and even the role of the so-called ‘Deep State’ in India.

The mullahs have to create issues to create schisms with Hindus. I saw some video of Muslim girls dancing during Onam-related festivities in Kerala, but hesitate to draw attention to it because the mullahs will make it an issue and issue fatwas against participation in mainstream activities.

Chhattisgarh: 10 Naxal terrorists killed in an encounter, including senior Naxal leader Modem Balkrishna, who carried a reward of ₹1 crore

In a major anti-Naxal operation in the Gariyaband district in Chhattisgarh, the security forces eliminated 10 Naxal terrorists, including senior Naxal leader Modem Balkrishna alias Manoj, who had a bounty of ₹1 crore on him. Balkrishna was killed during an encounter on Thursday afternoon (11th September) in the forest of the Matal area.

Modem Balkrishna alias Manoj was a senior Maoist leader who hailed from the undivided state of Andhra Pradesh. He is said to have joined the Maoist cadre decades ago and was a member of the Central Committee, the second-highest body of the Maoists after the Politburo. Balkrishna was wanted by the security forces and carried a reward of ₹1 crore. He was involved in several incidents of murder, robbery and attacks on local police.

Intensifying their operation against Naxals, the security forces eliminated several Naxal leaders, including dreaded Nambala Keshav Rao alias Basavaraju, this year. The elimination of Maoist leadership by the security forces has weakened the Maoist cadres, which are now staring at a certain end.
