India earlier today issued alert to Pakistan about High Flood from Jammu Tawi river.
Earlier on 27th August India had issued alert to Pakistan on four river points for high floods at Sutlej, Raavi and Chenab. Alerts issued through Indian High Commission in Pakistan.
--
(May be. After hearing the alert, Pakistani military asks Terrorists to move to safe areas and continue their operations... but I think:

(It gives us leverage. We can say we don't need to activate IWT again because we are already giving necessary warnings. India doing the right thing here even timely alerts across borders ....)

Recent tweet from India's EAM:
Indian earthquake assistance reaches Kabul by air.

21 tonnes of relief materials including blankets, tents, hygiene kits, water storage tanks, generators, kitchen utensils, portable water purifiers, sleeping bags, essential medicines, wheelchairs, hand sanitizers, water purification tablets, ORS solutions and medical consumables were airlifted today.

India will continue to monitor the ground situation and send more humanitarian aid over the coming days...

And.. niciities like from other quarters:

Sharing such information [ about flood] . between neighboring countries is extremely important from the perspective of humanity and security...

Hopefully by building more dams and many large reservoirs in India we will be able to reduce flooding in Pakistan.

The Indian foreign office should release a nice statement to that effect

@Amber G. , this is what Pakistanis are writing:
Before the decline that began around 2013–14, the IWT framework enabled a highly detailed exchange of flood information.

Notifications were not limited to generic warnings; they included advance forecasts of potential flood volumes, expected timings, and specific rivers likely to be affected. The data shared was granular down to daily, site-specific measurements covering river levels, discharges, and projected inundation zones.

This monsoon, however, India issued flood alerts concerning the Tawi and Sutlej rivers. But instead of using the PIC, the notifications were sent via the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.

These alerts were skeletal, often containing little more than a “high flood” classification, leaving Pakistani authorities to guess at the discharge volumes and timings.

Former Federal Flood Commissioner Ahmed Kamal voiced frustration at this vagueness: “The Indian side is just providing the information in a very generic way by stating only the flood classification (High Flood) with no specific details on discharge magnitude.”

India insists these alerts are acts of goodwill rather than treaty obligations, citing its declaration of abeyance. Its media has portrayed them as evidence of New Delhi’s “humanitarian face” despite strained ties.

Pakistan's defence minister Khawaja Asif on Tuesday came up with a bizarre solution to tackle floods in the country's northern parts by suggesting that people store the floodwater and take it to their homes.
that excess water should be taken as a "form of blessing."
.."Now this water, someone should store it. The people who are sitting blocking the road should take it to their homes and store all this water there," Asif said.
"They should put it somewhere, in some container. This water, this water — we should give it the form of a blessing by storing it. For this, big dams should also be built, which may take 8–10 years to complete,"

Big dams should be built.

India will do the needful.

ADB to fund Pakistan's core Belt and Road project as China steps aside

A Pakistani government official told Nikkei Asia that the ADB is set to provide a $2 billion loan for upgrading the 480-kilometer Karachi-Rohri section of the Main Line-1 railway.
So the iron brothers finally breaking up?

China first scammed Pakis with fake loans and gone full east india company on them. I remember old reports about Chinese collecting the powerbill from paki public as part of the loan repayment.

Pakis still bit their pillows and allowed it. Expecting chinese to provide free jets and miziles. Now they got tricked on that front too. :D

Reuters:

PESHAWAR, Pakistan, Sept 13 - Nineteen Pakistani soldiers were killed on Saturday in two separate clashes with Islamist fighters in the country's northwest, where militants have ramped up attacks on security forces since the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan, the army said.

As to who the fighters are, Pakis tell us:

The state uses the term Fitna al Khwarij to refer to terrorists belonging to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). It has also designated Balochistan-based groups as Fitna-al-Hindustan to highlight India’s alleged role in terrorism and destabilisation across Pakistan.

—-
I suppose Pakis believe that saying the name often enough will turn it into reality.

“The prime minister reaffirmed that Pakistan’s response to terrorism will continue with full force and made it clear that no ambiguity or compromise will be tolerated. He said terrorist leaders and facilitators responsible for attacks in Pakistan are operating from Afghan soil with the backing of India.

Do you think the Pakis can convince their friends in US CENTCOM? With the Trumpian incompetents running America, it is a possibility that India must consider. An American accusation of India backing terrorists will set off worse outcomes than Trudeau and Nijjar; while the idiots in the US administration might think it a great way to put pressure on India. We do live in a world where even the most stupid improbable thing is possible.

The Bakis are trying to get the match referee Andy Pycroft sacked.

As per them, its cause of him the players did not shake hands.

Time for the Bakis to declare moral victory.

The image of empty seats during an India-Pakistan clash, once unimaginable, now speaks volumes.

It signals a silent yet powerful form of protest by ordinary Indians who chose not to be part of a spectacle that enriches the PCB while the nation mourns for the innocent lives lost in Pahalgam terror attack.

China throws open its secret military complex to Pak President Asif Ali Zardari
Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has been given a rare tour of a secret military complex in China, the first foreign head of state to tour the sprawling compound, where he spoke of enhancing joint defence production.

Zardari, who is the constitutional head of the Pakistan military, visited the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) on Sunday where he was given a tour and a special briefing on its most-advanced military hardware, especially the new fighter jets, according to Pakistani media.
