https://x.com/rajatpTOI/status/1988943005676605815?s=20 ---> Defence ministry inks Rs 2,096 crore contract with Bharat Dynamics for procurement of #INVAR anti-tank missiles to enhance firepower and lethality of T-90S main-battle tanks. The weapon is a sophisticated laser-guided anti-tank missile with very high hit probability: MoD.

Wow!! Unbelievable. See the 54 second video in the link below. The support structures look very thin and a very wide carrier is riding fast on the top of a thin monorail. At first look most people will think that it is some cheap AI video.

Interesting. The Army’s 4 ‘Gajraj’ Corps deploys an indigenous high-altitude #MonoRail system for logistical supply at 16,000-feet. It’s capable of transporting 300+ kg of load in a single run to remote posts

ASSAM RIFLES TO CONDUCT FIVE-DAY UAS ELECTRONICS & DRONE SYSTEMS BOOTCAMP IN MANIPUR
#AssamRifles in collaboration with IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, is conducting a specialised five-day Bootcamp on Electronics for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Sensors and Communication at the Drone Training Node (DTN), Modi, Chandel District from 01 to 05 December 2025. Building on the success of Manipur’s pioneering Drone Training Capsule held at IIIT Manipur in July 2025, the programme—organised under a MeitY project—aims to deepen technological proficiency among Defence personnel. The Bootcamp will provide intensive training on aircraft fundamentals, sensor integration, communication systems, data acquisition and flight testing. Participants will gain hands-on experience in assembling and operating FPV drones, with modules on both autonomous and manual flight. The curriculum emphasises practical problem-solving and real-world challenges in drone electronics. The programme will be conducted by Prof. Ravi Kumar Gangwar, Prof. Jaisingh T.E., Prof. Samrat Mukhopadhyay and Prof. Jeevesh Kumar from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, in coordination with Assam Rifles. Rudra Brigade: Inside India's New Integrated Warfighting Plan

India is developing a new integrated combat formation called the "Rudra" brigade as part of an update to its war-planning approach. The brigade was tested during Exercise Trishul on the western front, where the "Black Mace" Rudra unit was validated with tanks, mechanised forces, artillery, air defence, drones and logistics elements. The Indian Air Force supported the exercises with fighters, helicopters and heliborne operations. "Rudra" aligns with India’s shift from the "Cold Start" doctrine towards a reported "Cold Strike" model focused on speed and joint operations. Two Rudra brigades are already deployed in Ladakh and Sikkim, with more planned.

Army Chief’s ‘Picture Abhi Baki Hai’ Warning To Pakistan

India’s Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi warned Pakistan that India will respond firmly to any provocation and will not tolerate state-sponsored terrorism, citing Operation Sindoor as a demonstration of rapid, integrated military action. He emphasised lessons in faster decision-making, tri-service coordination, and logistics for prolonged multi-domain conflicts. Dwivedi noted that future operations could last months or years, requiring sustained preparedness. He also highlighted improved India–China relations since late 2024, crediting political and military dialogue for stabilising the Line of Actual Control.

Indian Army’s High-Altitude Mono Rail Transforms Supply & Evacuation at 16,000 ft LAC Posts

Indian Army’s 4 Corps, tasked to western-part of Arunachal Pradesh, has come up with a unique logistics solution to send supplies to remote forward posts along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China. The Corps has successfully conceptualised, engineered, and deployed an indigenous high-altitude mono rail system, fully operational and validated. It is already transforming the delivery of logistics at the height of 16,000 feet. In these areas, forward posts are often cut off for weeks under the snow. Traditional means of transport – using mules or sending it through human porters — struggle against the rugged terrain.

https://x.com/rajatpTOI/status/1990255383060111367?s=20 ---> With the successful testing of a newly-raised integrated Rudra all-arms brigade in the major Trishul exercise on the western front, the Army may now well upgrade its Cold Start doctrine to Cold Strike for swifter and greater offensive thrusts into enemy territory.

Why China's Arunachal Ambition Will End In Failure

China has been increasing pressure on Arunachal Pradesh by calling it South Tibet and objecting to every Indian project in the region. India has answered by strengthening its position on the ground. The frontier from Kibithoo to Tuting is now held with permanent forward troops and heavy equipment. Extra brigades have been moved east of the Sela pass. Tanks like the T90S Bhishma and T72M1 have been fitted with high altitude kits and kept ready along the Tawang axis. Infantry combat vehicles are placed in each valley to block any sudden move. Artillery has been reinforced with M777 ultra light howitzers, Dhanush guns, Sharang pieces and K9 Vajra tracked guns. Pinaka rocket launchers and BrahMos missiles can strike deep into staging areas across the border. Air defence is layered with Akash NG and MRSAM systems while Rafale, Su30MKI and Tejas squadrons operate from Tezpur, Chabua, Jorhat and Pasighat. Advanced landing grounds at Mechuka, Walong, Ziro and Along support Chinook and Apache helicopters. Drones patrol the frontier and swarm units are integrated at brigade level. Logistics have improved with the Sela tunnel and over 1200 kilometres of new roads linking the Brahmaputra valley to forward posts. The overall effect is clear. Any attempt to repeat 1962 will meet immediate and overwhelming response.

Also speed up development of ultra long range cruise missiles (nuclear payload) which can reach Beijing and Shanghai

That's the only language all the great powers understand

Om Shanthi. Its tragic for the family

Pretty sure its a T-90 or T-72. We have had personnel losses in these tanks due to flash floods in Ladakh, barrel burst etc

If an Arjun had been lost this way, the wolves would be out in full force, calling it a "massive setback", like how they are trying to milk the Tejas crash in Dubai

^ It also underlines why we need tanks (and IFVs) with amphibious (fording) capabilities on not just the eastern but on the western front (with their canals) as well.

Yes. Which is why it was galling to see the IA/MoD drooling over the useless Stryker which did not have amphibious capability, while cold-shouldering WhAP which did (Moroccans are smarter than us!)

Now, we want to give Stryker a 2nd chance because they are going to do some jugaad and create an amphibious version
