That's quite a lengthy visit by putin, I thought he has already left. Do we know what he has been upto in addition to enjoying the current beautiful delhi climate? The media focussed when he arrived, his visit to the Rashtrapati bhavan the next day, and a joint statement/ pc with the pm afterwards. Then the parliament session started and everyone shifted their focus to it.

He still has a 2 day special military operation in progress that i believe he would be keen to return to, what's holding him back? The promise of more vegetarian dinners at the residences of various dignitaries? At least when Trudeau was here, he had a lot of costume parties to go to and dance, so his lengthy visit was understandable, do not really think putin's much into bhangra

I think there is more to this visit., quite likely Bharat is taking the initiative for a peace process supported by the US [ remember the "friendly call to orange man a week back ?" ] 8) ., the EU and baniansky will soon visit Dilli ..so no surprises here . Washington will need to show its stick to EU and thrash things out from their side too.. Russia has signalled American investments would be welcome to explore the mineral wealth of Russia [ ah.. they dont really trust the Chinese, do they?..or are they hedging their bets? ]

Bharat is now truly the pivot of geopolitics

Putin, like trump, would have taken the wise precaution of dining before he came to dinner.
...
His food & drink for the entire period is carried from Russia. The preparation is also done by his chefs/cooks who travel with & even before him. The cleaning & sanitizing is also managed by their own staff. All this is part of their extremely tight security SOPs.
