A great YT which educates on basics of formation of company with products. These companies are the future of India and we need to encourage them to the hilt. Screwdrivergiri is not the way forward. If the Indian Army were really interested in Atmanirbharata, then they would co-opt such companies to create the next INSAS version II and beyond and simultaneously ditch chasing SigSauer and Russian maal. Too much entrenched thinking by Armed forces and of course money exchange behind the scene.
SSS can meanwhile work on honing their products and creating a client base both internal and external. Brahman Speed to them.

Kudos to the BSF for inducting the new GPMG. They may replace the older stock of MMGs. These can be mounted on vehicles and could also replace older LMGs in infantry formations. They can have red dots and thermals—lots can be done with them. May they train hard with it.

New machine gun in town: GPMG by Lokesh Machines. A better alternative to replace the MMG currently in service. The barrel is heavier for sustained fire and longer than LMGs, giving a range of 1200 metres.
Same arrangement for the NSV issued to infantry would be great.

Adani Defence Delivers First Batch Of 2,000 Prahar Light Machine Guns To Indian Army

Adani Defence and Aerospace today (28 March) delivered the first batch of 2,000 indigenously manufactured Prahar light machine guns to the Indian Army, marking a significant advancement in India's small arms manufacturing capability.
The 7.62 mm-calibre weapons were manufactured at the company's Small Arms Facility in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India's first fully integrated private-sector small arms manufacturing hub.
The delivery was completed 11 months ahead of the contracted schedule.

Mostly the Israeli's pushed the already manufactured parts in bulk. Assuming it's an assembly factory. But our Indian media as usual goes and start to write propaganda piece unknowingly. Even calling it Made in India. Also the Army and the Govt must stop giving it Indian names. Atleast in BR we must call any imported designs by it's original name. Negev NG-7 it is.VinodTK wrote: ↑28 Mar 2026 20:34 Adani Defence Delivers First Batch Of 2,000 Prahar Light Machine Guns To Indian Army

7.62 by 51 mm for counter insurgency/terrorism? Don't our guys prefer the AK caliber for that?
