Imho that's a very short sighted strategy. In the long it is doomed. For starters they're beginning to look like an international pariah very quickly. Second, it's going to sprout a million more jehadists thanks to the brutality. Three, you simply can't kill 1.5 billion Muslims. maybe it'll work in case of smallish populations in an age when there is no Internet. Today? No. Very bad juju.

I think India did a much better job in kashmir and the North East. Hell even Russia did one better in chechnya.

The Israeli gambit is increasingly looking like it's driven by ridiculous and out dated old testament hard-line values more than any real practical strategy.
