2.Similarities between vibes of 2021 and 2026
PK admitted defeat in CH podcast:
IPAC members resign
viral YT videos of ppl wanting change
Leftist outlets like Wire reporting anti incumbency
Random local channels like priyobandhu predicting victory
RW convinced of victory
3.TN dispensation is definitely losing. West Bengal is a black box. No one knows, not even pollsters and politicians
4.BJP has put maximum effort in Bengal, but thing is unless people want change in enuf number govt will remain. And here is the catch, bengal is a low aspiration society which is why CPM ruled for 35 and TMC for 15 yrs. Enuf ppl may just be satisfied with rs 1500 dole out

5.Most importantly six reasons:
1. More Candidates from rank and file.
2. ₹3k annapoorna yojana
3. Increased central forces
4. SIR
5. 15 yrs of anti incumbency vs 10
6. Micro focus! Hyper localisation of campaign mixed with blockbuster rallies of everyone.

6.Mamata Banerjee’s Former advisor Jayanta Ghosal: “Never seen such BJP before, everything from the election committee to poll security is tightly handled.”
“Earlier, bureaucrats would brush off orders saying ‘we’ll see after polls’; now even they appear unsettled.”
7.Demography is not the reason why BJP has so far failed to win WB. Assam had worse demographics when BJP won for 1st time. FFM is the key, and this time BJP is trying to break all 3 components of TMC's winning combination

8.i know BJP can win Bengal with lower vote share than tmc like odisha, but still 10% is significant
https://x.com/i/status/2045885737556689217
9.While entire RW has vibed onto BJP win in Bengal, I am still sticking to my FFM is unbeatable theory
my biggest blackpill for WB is that Mamta will likely handout cash before elections like others and WB being poor low aspiration, that will be more than enuf.
2nd blackpill is few contra indicator ppl who always get their prediction wrong and they are predicting BJP winning WB
Re: Elections Modi 3.0
Most important reason is stupidity of Hindus -- majority of them are quite happy voting for TMC, and remain as blind as ever (just like many Kashmiri Pandits abusing Hindus and siding with Muslims)Demography is not the reason why BJP has so far failed to win WB. DMK has carefully appropriated low caste planks by hijacking what other parties or people did. but they are slowly getting exposed.
The movie - Maamannan - where a low caste politician becomes speaker - it was actually done by Jayalalitha - but DMK Udayanidhi is the hero - this is being pointed out in many SM shorts
Periyar - only spoke about anti brahminism. but actually promoted casteism - now Seeman is exposing him in many places.
At ground - people say things like - my only wish is DMK does not come to power.
The issue is ADMK is also beholden to DMK style politics and BJP alliance will be held against them. Lets see what happens...

Both parties are based on Tamil Nationalism and Dravidian movement. Sacrificing and sidelining Annamalai is a mistake IMO. Building an alternative brand will take time and grass-root level effort. There is no credible BJP leader who could commit to that effort. ADMK alliance will not buy anything for BJP.V_Raman wrote: ↑21 Apr 2026 05:23 DMK has carefully appropriated low caste planks by hijacking what other parties or people did. but they are slowly getting exposed.

Mamata Banerjee is ignorant about Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore’s greatness; she does not know basic অ আ ক খ of Bengal’s history and heritage.
Mamata Banerjee claims at rally that Gandhi Ji returned his knighthood in protest against the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
Every child in Bengal knows the context of the song ‘Eyi manihar aamay naahi saajey’; every person in India knows it was Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore who renounced his knighthood in 1919 as a mark of protest against the brutality at Jallianwala Bagh.

@CEOWestBengal issues strict instructions restricting the use of motorcycles on voting day in West Bengal — this will surely cramp the style of Mamata Banerjee’s Lumpen Brigade who in past elections would roam from booth to booth, village to village, rigging the vote and terrorising the voter.

"Public Apology or Retire": Annamalai Blasts Kharge Over "Terrorist" Jibe at PM Modi | NewsX
On the final day of the Tamil Nadu campaign, BJP leader K. Annamalai and Union Minister Piyush Goyal slammed Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for calling PM Modi a "terrorist." Demanding a public apology, the BJP labeled the remark an "insult to the nation," while Kharge later clarified he meant "terrorizing" opponents.

Election commission not at all care. FYI

Dheeraj reposted the ground report by Ruhi Tewari. Extrcts given below,Signs of deep anti incumbency & fatigue in Bengal, highlighted by this generally reliable ground reporter.
Only question is this enough to overcome FFM
From pollster Savyasachi; Some broad-stroke takeaways from the ground at the end of my travels in West Bengal:
1. ‘Poribortan’ (change) is the big buzzword this election across the state. There is significant anti-incumbency against the Mamata Banerjee regime, which is not unexpected after 15 years of being in power. Some of it is spurred by anger, some by disappointment, and some by sheer voter fatigue and boredom.
...
3. Voter anger against the TMC stems from many factors, a key one being the lack of development - “unnayan darakar” (development is needed) - is an oft-heard phrase, as voters compare West Bengal to neighbouring Odisha to point towards the difference.
4. Lack of industry and, consequently, rampant unemployment is a major pain point. Several voters say they feel education is being wasted with no jobs available in the state.
5. Voters are also upset with poor medical and health facilities, with many pointing towards the need to travel to other states for treatment.
6. Crumbling law & order situation and lack of safety for women have emerged as big conversation points, especially fuelled by the RG Kar violent crime. This has somewhat dented Mamata Banerjee’s image of being a pro-woman leader.
7. ‘Cut money’, essentially denoting corruption at the grassroots, is perhaps the most talked about negative of this govt, with voters alleging even the poor are not spared by local leaders and lower tiers of the administration.
8. An interesting complaint is how Mamata Banerjee seems to have simply perpetuated the Left model, which the voters voted out in 2011, instead of bringing in her own vision. “Wahan ka log sab yahan aa gaya (their cadre have shifted here)” is a common refrain.
9. There is a section of voters that isn’t really angry or upset but is just bored. “It’s been 15 years now. Why not give someone else a chance,” they say. It is this section that Banerjee perhaps has some chance of converting even now.
...
15. Women voters — Mamata Banerjee’s backbone — prove one point - this is now a fast-evolving electorate & will soon ask the question of ‘what next’. Her flagship & once hugely popular Lakshmir Bhandar seems to have run its course with many now talking about more sustainable forms of livelihood as well as better infrastructure.
https://x.com/i/status/2046615889873932318
As Dheeraj pointed out earlier, will a last minute cash distribution will change the decision of voters need to be seen.𝗕𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗟
BJP 2021 & BJP 2026 r different on Strategy, Ground Work,Outreach, Candidate Selection, Exploiting the opportunities during campaigns etc
Hence, the Game is not the one many projected (as on Date)
Now,Booth Mgmt is pivotal, the one that will decide the outcome.

Amit Shah Targets Mamata Banerjee In Bengal Elections, ‘Ulta Latka Denge’ Warning To TMC
Union Home Minister Amit Shah intensified the political battle ahead of the West Bengal elections, launching a fierce attack on Mamata Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress. Addressing a rally in Hooghly, Shah issued a stern warning to alleged “goons,” saying those who disrupt peace will be dealt with strictly after the polls, using the controversial phrase “ulta latka denge.”
Sharpening his attack, Shah accused the TMC government of promoting infiltration, crippling industries, and allowing illegal activities like sand mining and smuggling to flourish. He promised that the BJP would restore law and order, stop infiltration, and bring industrial growth back to Bengal, positioning the elections as a decisive battle for governance and accountability.

Nehru awarded the first CEC the Padma Bhushan and later made him Vice-Chancellor of Burdwan University
Indira Gandhi awarded the second CEC the Padma Vibhushan
3rd CEC acted neutrally during Congress infighting, so no award for him
4th CEC received the Padma Vibhushan
5th CEC received the Padma Vibhushan for his tenure during the Emergency
7th CEC received the Padma Bhushan and was appointed by Indira Gandhi
Rajiv Gandhi later made him Governor of Gujarat
10th CEC, T. N. Seshan, contested the 1999 Lok Sabha election on a Congress ticket against L. K. Advani from Ahmedabad
11th CEC, M. S. Gill, was a Congress Rajya Sabha member from 2004 to 2016
During Manmohan Singh’s tenure, he served as Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs
12th CEC conducted Youth Congress polls
15th CEC recommended the removal of the sixteenth CEC, Naveen Chawla, 2 month before the 2009 Lok Sabha election, yet Congress appointed him
16 CEC, Naveen Chawla, was flagged by the Shah Commission report, which stated that he was unfit to hold any office
After this controversial appointment, followed by the failures of UPA-2, Congress’s pattern was exposed
Congress always used the post of CEC as a partisan instrument, never as a level playing field.
Post 2014 appointees are not quid pro quo.
Every CEC before Gyanesh Kumar was appointed solely by the Prime Minister. His appointment, involving the opposition for the first time, makes him India’s most democratic CEC.

BIG! Hours before polling, a sitting MLA, Dr. Khagendra Nath Mahato, leaves TMC and joins BJP.
Not due to ticket denial, but just as voting begins.
=> A sign of shifting ground?

He should have said this when Sonia Gandhi's lackey J. M. Lyngdoh deleted 2.5 crore voters from the electoral rolls in 2003..
This lead to Sonia Gandhi's victory in 2004 Lok Sabha polls..
He was himself an Election Commissioner when 53 lakh voters were deleted from the Electoral Rolls in Tamil Nadu..
Thus, Mr. Qureshi admits that he intentionally harassed the voters of Tamil Nadu..That he had malafide intentions..
He was joined in this endeavour by anoth
Re: Elections Modi 3.0
Lyndogh got a Magsaysay award IIRC.
Re: Elections Modi 3.0
WB Phase-1, final vote tally = 93%. Unprecedented.
Re: Elections Modi 3.0
Yes. Remarkable. Some of it might be the removal of fake-ass absentee/dead/bangladeshi voters, which may reduce the denominator in the calculation. But a lot of it would certainly be a genuine surge in turnout, hopefully for change.
Youtube experts/commentators, plus Republic TV, seem to be predicting BJP victory...most mainstream channels/pollsters think it will be MoMo again.
Some posters on BRF had "gut-wrenching" discussions after the 2021 result. Others took it as a good sign to go from just 3 seats to 77. This time around, I see a few new factors:
- SIR successful
- ECI and massive deployment of CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP and SSB seems to have reduced intimidation, rigging, and violence to low levels at least in Phayze 1.
- Apart from anti-incumbency, one cannot neglect the possibility of some "prayaschit" voting in WB given the underwhelming 2024 LS result. We have seen voters in DL, HY, MH, and BH support Modi sarkar with strong state election mandates.
West Bengal has become "Bhrasht Bengal" since 1950 thanks to various congi, commie, and tommie goons running the show. Hopefully after this "poriborton" election it can get on a path to become "Best Bengal".

Record Turnout In Bengal; What’s Behind 92% Voting; Why Is Congress Unhappy? | India Upfront
In this episode of India Upfront with Pranesh Roy, the focus is on the West Bengal elections, where an exceptionally high voter turnout—touching 92.07%—has emerged as the central talking point of Phase 1 polling. As the state moves into Phase 2, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has expressed strong unhappiness with TMC chief Mamata Banerjee. The discussion examines what drove this surge in voter participation, why Congress is upset, whether it signals a shift in public sentiment, and how it could shape the momentum for the upcoming phases of the election.

Re: Elections Modi 3.0
People are mistakenly making false assumptions on voting %. If you take 2021 election numbers and remove SIR identified fake votes from the denominator, the WB % will go up from 82% to 92% exactly as reported. It may also mean that these fake votes didn’t cast any votes in 2021 contrary to what was originally suspected.
However this is only one possibility. It doesn’t completely rule out the possibility that fake voters did cast vote in 2021, but not now, and they were being compensated by new votes. With the denominator being smaller with the same numerator ( offset by new votes), the % went up.

Re: Elections Modi 3.0
Interesting thread:
Comments are also pointing some other angleshttps://x.com/FltLtAnoopVerma/status/20 ... 23157?s=20
Analysis of West Bengal
1. West Bengal jumps from 82% to 92% in voter turnout out
2. Muslims generally vote in mass so this entire extra vote share come from Hindu Votes most probably who weren’t coming out earlier
3. Plus these are the people who were earlier stopped from voting coz of fear of law & order so most of them are anti Mamata voters
In 2021
1. Total 6 Cr people voted in West Bengal while the total electorate was 7.6 Cr
2. TMC got 2.9 Cr votes out of 6 Cr which is 48% & got 215 seats
3. BJP got 2.3 Cr votes out of 6 Cr which is 38% & got just 77 seats
4. Difference between BJP & TMC was 60 lacs votes & 10%
5. The total electorate was 7.6 Cr
Now
1. SIR has deleted 90 lacs illegal votes due to duplication, deaths & pure illegal
2. Total electorate this time is around becomes 7 Cr
3. Given that 80% of the effect of SIR goes to TMC, it should get 70 lacs less votes than last year means 2.2 Cr votes. This means TMC will be dropped to 35-37-% vote share
4. Given that 80% of incremental voting from 82 to 92 goes to BJP means BJP will get additional 20 lacs votes means BJP will come close to 2.5 Cr votes. This will be 42% vote share
5. Add 2% each from the other party vote share drop to both parties. Means TMC will stop at 39% & BJP will jump to 44%
6. Add 2% Anti Incumbency votes to BJP & reduce that 2% from TMC. Means TMC will settle for 37% & BJP will jump to 46%
Now with this maths
1. TMC will get 37% of 6.44 Cr (92% of total electorate) means 2.4 Cr votes
2. BJP will get 46% of 6.44 Cr means 2.96 Cr votes
BJP is touching 190 seats if the same trend goes for Phase 2 as well
Hindus should push their boundaries further & come out in larger numbers for phase 2 as well
One more point, knowing Mamata is losing big time, security forces should further step up their strength for phase 2 as goons will try to run reckless now
Nutshell, Mamata is packing up. Draconian TMC is packing up

How RSS Is Quietly Writing BJP’s Bengal 2026 Playbook
A Deep Dive
The Historic 91.46% Phase 1 polling turnout has immediately become a critical political signal in West Bengal. In electoral analysis, such exceptionally high participation is often interpreted as a marker of strong sentiment, particularly against the ruling party.
While not a direct indicator of vote direction, it suggests one clear reality: political mobilisation has intensified at the grassroots level, and voter behaviour is becoming more confrontational rather than passive.
In this context, RSS’s long-term expansion in Bengal is converging with rising voter turnout driven by growing anti-incumbency, a dynamic that could reshape the 2026 contest.
WHY BENGAL HAS ALWAYS BEEN DIFFERENT
Unlike the RSS strong hold states, Bengal carries a literary and intellectual tradition - Tagore, Vivekananda - that historically insulated it from the cultural nationalism associated with the RSS. Under 34 years of Left rule, the organisation was ideologically marginalised and socially contained.
The shift began in 2011 with Mamata Banerjee, where identity-based welfare politics became mainstream. RSS adapted to this environment.
Result: RSS units in Bengal grew to 4,540 by 2026, marking deep structural penetration.
THE 2024 TURNING POINT
BJP’s drop to 12/42 Lok Sabha seats in 2024 triggered internal reassessment.
The conclusion: over-reliance on personality-driven politics weakened ground expansion.
Shift initiated:
• From leader-centric to organisation-centric strategy
• From election bursts to continuous social embedding
SCALE OF EXPANSION
• Organisational growth
• 4,540 RSS units in Bengal (2026)
• 583 new shakhas in one year
• Target: 8,000 units covering every gram panchayat
National mobilisation support
• 83,129 daily shakhas across India
• 36,000+ Hindu Sammelans in centenary push
• Mohan Bhagwat’s 10-day Bengal outreach (2025)
Electoral ecosystem changes
• Large-scale voter roll restructuring in sensitive constituencies
• Heightened electoral participation signals shifting ground sentiment
Key region focus
• Madhya Banga belt: Birbhum, Bankura, Purulia, Murshidabad, Burdwan
• A continuous strategic corridor combining tribal and rural Hindu zones.
SHADOW COMMAND STRUCTURE
Unlike election-time party machinery, RSS operates year-round through shakhas and ideological training.
Centenary programme “Har Gaon, Har Basti, Ghar Ghar” functions as:
• Household mapping
• Community sentiment tracking
• Local ideological classification
This creates a parallel grassroots intelligence system.
SIX CORE OPERATIONAL DRIVERS
1. Identity reframing
Bengali culture integrated with Hindu nationalist symbols.
2. Ram Navami mobilisation
Acts as structured mass mobilisation rehearsal system.
3. Urban middle-class shift (Bhadralok)
Corruption, recruitment scandals, and governance fatigue create openings.
4. Matua factor
Citizenship (CAA) vs voter list uncertainty becomes a key swing issue.
5. Muslim-majority seat recalibration
Voter roll changes alter arithmetic in key constituencies like Jangipur.
6. Tribal belt consolidation
Jangal Mahal regions show growing receptivity due to economic and identity gaps.
ELECTORAL ARITHMETIC
• Total seats: 294
• Majority: 148
• BJP competitive zone: ~160 seats
A 6–8% consolidation swing in Hindu vote share could translate into 30–45 seats, enough to alter state outcome dynamics under first-past-the-post.
THE LARGER REALITY
Even beyond elections, a structural shift is underway.
RSS expansion in Bengal is evolving into a multi-layered system:
• Organisational networks
• Cultural redefinition
• Mobilisation pipelines
• Rural and tribal embedding
• Intellectual outreach
This is no longer a short-term campaign model. It is long-term institutional architecture being built beneath electoral cycles.
And its impact will persist regardless of the 2026 outcom
