Three Indian Army officers had a narrow escape after a Cheetah helicopter they were aboard crashed in the mountainous Tangste area near Leh in Ladakh, officials said on Saturday.

The crash took place on Wednesday, but details emerged only on Saturday. Officials said the single-engine helicopter was being flown by a lieutenant colonel and a major. General Officer Commanding of the 3 Infantry Division was also on board as a passenger.

All three occupants survived the crash and suffered only minor injuries, officials said. They described the survival of the officers as "nothing short of a miracle", given the difficult terrain where the helicopter went down. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the crash.
All safe. Only the heli will be scratched out

Cooler than cucumbers these 3, as they await rescue....
