Sachin
After India got the Gorkha Regiments after independence, Economy dictated that One regimental center was shared by two Gorkha Rifles Regiments.
In short 39 Gorkha Rifles Regimental Center is the Regimental Center for 3 GR and 9 GR. The only exemption is 11 Gorkha Rifles which had its own RC because it was the odd one out of the Seven Gorkha Regiments.
Bishwa
Add this
Army Ordnance Corps Center, Secunderabad

I calculated the number of units from the BR Sikh Regiment page.
The difference between the two pages are
1. 9 Sikh is present in BR it is not present in Mandeeps.
2.14 Sikh is present in Mandeeps page but is absent from BR.
3.20 Sikh is present in Mandeeps page but is absent from the BR listing.
Infact for the Sikh LI also there is a difference. 12 & 15 Sikh are not there in the BR listing however Mandeep has it under his Sikh LI page.
Good point. Re: Regimental Centre List
DS: May I use your info for my site, with credit to you and BR? This may sound strange, but since it is now published, I can attribute a source. If BR puts it up permenantly, I will provide a direct link to the site as well as summarise it on my site, and put the coyright to you and BR so if anyone wants to copy it they will have to ask you.
My personal feeling is that ultimately you may find some other battalions lurking around! IA doesnt all the time tell everything!
I was diasspointed Rakesh took off the div site because that information is actually already all known, but I appreciate his point of view. I think known or not since it is not all published in one place he doesnt want to be held morally responsible, and ofcourse he feels very unconfortable, as he made clear many times in this and other contexts. He has to live with his conscience, and I have to respect that.
I'm also a little agitated because I was going to publish the list (with permission, of course) after making a couple of minor changes, and there was actually a bunch of stuff from the last year or two I didnt know!
Now I have to make other arrangements!
