Admins can remove or merge this thread once we get a good collection ...

Sukhois at the Airshow
All the pylons of the Sukhois except the two near each wingtip are removed. What are these pylons carrying? Interestingly I checked the Russian Knights website, they fly with all the pylons.
Thanks Jagan.
I also have 32 small videos that span over a total of ten minutes. When zipped, the file size of the videos is 21MB. I really want to share them with you guys, but I need a host. I already made 1 tripod account for my pics & it is packed up.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can put up the videos?

These are GREAT pics but you ALL are mofos!!! You might as well be paki for taking these pics!!!!
What does the placard on the MKI say? What does the placard on the Tekon(?) say? Is that the Tekon for the Kh-59 or the LDP for the KAB-500??
Can Rustom's pics be made bigger???? How big? He has the clearest shot to the pod.

Regarding Airshow and pictures
Guys could you share info on what gear you guys use to take pictures ??? My gear is
Nikon F-80 SLR Body
Sigma 28-135mm Zoom Lens
Nikkor 50mm AF 1.8 Lens
Kenko 420-800mm Telezoom Lens
I have got a lot of very good pictures on the Static Display...
The Sun at the Airshow ruined most of my pictures.
I sincerely believe we photographers should team up for all future events including the next one...The Airshow at Yelahanka in 2005...or is there any one before that one.....

Once you download the file, rename give them a .mpeg extention with the name. you know, if you download vertical_charlie, rename it as vertical_charlie.mpeg, and it plays great on the Windows Media player.
I am running on XP if that makes a difference.

Yes folks, JT-073 is indeed an upgraded Jaguar-IB from HAL's latest batch of 17 Jaguar-IBs, checked out by me at HAL B'lore, earlier this year.
If you sat in this one, consider yourself more 'up to date' than doing the same in an Su-30MKI. Life really sucks does'nt it?
fantumfan, can you describe the cockpit(s)? Which squadron was this one from? I assume it's from "Bulls".

They'll only be night capable if they carry the Litening.so Harry, the latest batch of 17 Jag IBs are more or less night-attack Jags ? and are they being distributed among the squadrons instead of forming a dedicated night-attack Jag squadron ?
The two squadrons involved in testing the new Jaguars at HAL were No.5 and No.14.
Incidentally, including the last 20 Jaguar-ISs and 17 Jaguar IBs, the total number of Jaguars acquired would be nearly 170! ( JS101-JS135, JT051-JT055, JS136-JS193 (HAL), JT056-JT065 (HAL), JM251-JM262 (HAL, possibly more), plus the 15 units delivered in 1999 and 17+20 new units)
Yep you are right...I didnt see the image at max res. Well its still the first time. The placard does say:Harry wrote:GeorgeJ, the KAB-500Kr seeker module is TV guided and requires no pod.
Looks like the front of this:BOMB KAB 500 KR
BTW can someone look at Rustom MKI pic and guesstimate what the 'TAKE OFF WEIGHT' is on the placard?
Why is the above "Bulgy" in the rear while this is straght?George J wrote:Looks like the front of this:BOMB KAB 500 KR
