After another 26/11, India will swiftly send a dossier to TSP and claim that we have decisively proven our case in front of Unkil.
:rotfl: :rotfl:
Still am remembering the amazing lines sprouted by our netas immediately after 26/11...wonder if even one of the lines was more than a empty boast.

I wonder whether babus have a standard fill in the blanks format for these dossiers. Can be very helpful given the frequency of dossier submittals we do.

It is the punctuations that are important. You dont want the terrorists to escape because of a wrong semicolon or a misplaced triplicate copy. Attention to details is important. They always teach that in Oxford or wherever.

It was al India's mistake in the first place. Remember that we sent the case files and dossier which was written in Hindi and Marathi. Then we sent them in English.
How will the poor Abdul understand these haraam languages?
Next time we should send the dossier in Arabi and Urdu only.

And if we sent them only in Arabic and Urdu the pakis would have countered with ' What do kafirs know about arabic and urdu? Send us the originals and we decide.'

So much takleef for the TSP FM Qureshi after SM Krishna shot-down the left-, right-, front-, back-channel diplomacy offer.

Takleef of a TSP RAPE
I TOTALLY agree with Nadeem Haq that the applications are either not read properly or the documents are not given attention to. I underwent the same problem and my visa was rejected, stating that I had not provided the correct documents whereas I had.

And the same reason was given for my kids due to which I lost Rs50,000 in visa fees to them ( as I had applied for a two-year visa). :(( :((
Also, they had stated that I could not ask for reassessment of the visa too. It was not fair as I travel to the UK a lot and even have a house there.

Since the TSP rape can't travel to UK to ensoi his ill gotten gains there, UK should auction his house / make it a shelter for the homeless this winter.
At least some good will come off this after all.

Laser-guided munition exhausted, says Gilani
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has exhausted most of its laser-guided munitions in anti-militant operations in Malakand and Fata regions, according to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.

Expressing satisfaction over defence and economic ties between Pakistan and France, Gilani said that he was he was looking forward to President Nicolas Sarkozy’s visit to Pakistan early next year.

Senator Josselin de Rohan lauded Pakistan’s role in curbing terrorism and extremism. 'Without Pakistan’s support it will not be possible to succeed in this effort.'
He assured the prime minister of France’s support and said that he would convey to his government Pakistan’s requirements for ammunition and military hardware.

The only difference here is that while 'Baghdad Bob' was laughed at, Mr Rehman Malik will be taken seriously by the western MSM.

Stalemate Dawn jihadi edit.
same shyt
So what is Pakistan to do now? There’s not much more that it can or should do. Cooperation and the exchange of dossiers on the Mumbai attacks is continuing, and rightly so. Pakistan has committed to and is in the process of prosecuting those involved in the attacks and that should be seen through to its logical end. But the internal dynamics of India’s politics are preventing movement on the peace process, and there is little to nothing that Pakistan can do to change that.
Amidst the frustration and angst, perhaps the foremost lesson for Pakistan is this: when Pakistan and India finally do re-engage — and this is inevitable given the outstanding issues between the two countries — Pakistan should demand that the big issues, Kashmir, water, Afghanistan, etc, should be addressed up front. There is little point any more in going ‘small’ and dealing with peripheral issues first because years of the composite dialogue have proved that engagement on those issues counts for nought.

Pakistanis up to their usual pakiness:
3 women forced to walk naked in public
* Women accuse UC nazim of plotting against them to grab their house

LAHORE: An angry mob tortured and forced three women to walk naked on Multan Road in Phoolnagar, Kasur on the accusation of prostitution, a private television channel reported on Monday.

According to the channel, a large number of people attacked a house in Jambarkalan village, torturing three women – including Shahnaz – for allegedly being involved in prostitution and running a brothel in the village.

Illegal: However, the victims said all the accusations against them were baseless and devoid of truth. The women said they had a property dispute with Union Council Nazim Ilyas Khanzada who wanted to occupy their home illegally. They accused him of planning and leading the criminal assault on their home.

The UC nazim confirmed that all three women were subjected to torture by the mob and were later forced to walk naked on the road. However, he denied plotting against the women.

Jabarkalan Police Sub-Inspector Bashir told the channel that a case under sections 371-A and 371-B had been registered against the women for running a brothel on the local residents’ complaints.
And as usual the courts play a spoilsport in Pakistan:
However, a local court directed senior police officials to take action against the policemen concerned for registering a case under wrong sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

Police did not register a case or even question the mob that attacked the women and publicly humiliated them. daily times monitor

From Night watch for 9/28/09
Pakistan-Saudi Arabia: Two sons of an Al Qaida leader, al Alawi, were caught in the tribal areas and turned over to Saudi Arabia on 18 September, GEO TV reported 28 September. The sons, Ali and Siddiq, are under investigation for the 26 August attempt to assassinate Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef.

The significance of this item is that all roads of terrorist training lead backwards to Pakistan. The western-educated elite in Islamabad might not like it, but the facts speak for themselves. Pakistani Islamists educate; indoctrinate; train in weapons, bombs and assassinations; and facilitate the travel of terrorists all over the world, including the US, Spain, India and Saudi Arabia. Nothing the Pakistan government has done has negated the international knowledge that Pakistan is the place to go to receive training as a terrorist.

In terms of security issues, two separate Pakistans exist side by side. The western educated elite Pakistan resides in Islamabad, grapples with high-minded issues and is out of touch with the other, much larger Pakistan. The other Pakistan educates its children in Islamic academies because the public school system has failed. It looks to religious teachers for political guidance because no one trusts the elected politicians, who are members of the elite Pakistan. The “other” Pakistan does not support violence in its local neighborhoods, but does not condemn violence in support of Islamic principles.

Suspected U.S. drone attacks kill 12 in Pakistan
PESHAWAR, Pakistan, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Two suspected U.S. drone aircraft killed 12 militants, including foreigners, in missile strikes on Tuesday in Pakistan's Waziristan region on the Afghan border, intelligence officials and residents said.

The latest missile strike was the third in northwest Pakistan in less than 24 hours and came as the U.S. administration was weighing options for how to deal with an intensifying Taliban insurgency in neighbouring Afghanistan.
Predator strikes are the only saving grace in the region's WOT for unkil.

This is incredibly frustrating , while TSP keeps on harping about Kashmir and every other aspect related to it with impunity , all we can do is throw a hissy fit every time a westerner mentions the "Kashmir Issue"

There are serious lessons we can learn from China here and their claim on Arunachal Pradesh , I do believe that in their heart of hearts they recognize that they cannot get the state from India but they still lay an aggressive claim to the territory and use it as a strategic tool against us. On the other hand I've hardly every seen an official from GoI lay an aggressive claim on PoK , sure we may not get it back but pursuing it more aggressively will make TSP Politicos think twice before mentioning Kashmir on the Intl stage with impunity.

With better engagement with the US and increasing clout within the Industrialized nations this is India's time to get aggresive with TSP without the Rhetoric.

‘Taliban have new havens around Quetta’

* Washington Post says US grappling with rapidly spreading arc of Taliban influence
* US officials concerned Quetta shura planning cross-border strikes
http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.as ... 2009_pg1_4

ISLAMABAD: An American newspaper has reported that Taliban – headed by their fugitive leader Mullah Muhammad Omar – have new safe havens around Quetta, with US officials expressing concerns over the role of the group in the area.

“As American troops move deeper into southern Afghanistan to fight the Taliban, US officials are expressing fresh concerns over the role of fugitive Taliban leader Mullah Muhammad Omar and his council of lieutenants, who reportedly plan and launch cross-border strikes from safe havens around Quetta,” said the Washington Post. “But US officials acknowledge they know relatively little about the Pakistani border region, have no capacity to strike there and have few windows into the turbulent mix of Pashtun tribal and religious politics that has turned the area into a sanctuary for the Taliban leaders, who are known collectively as the Quetta shura.”

Pakistani and foreign analysts said Quetta has suddenly emerged as an urgent but elusive new target as Washington grapples with the Taliban’s rapidly spreading arc of influence and terror across Afghanistan.

“In the past, we focused on Al Qaeda... the Quetta shura mattered less to us because we had no troops in the region,” said US Ambassador to Pakistan Anne Patterson. “Now... the Quetta Shura is high on Washington’s list.”

You know what's truly pathetic?

Our Dossier-Deterrence is actually working.

See: After the Parliament Attack in December 2001, we deployed our forces in a massive mobilization along the IB. It didn't stop Paki terrorism. Kaluchak followed, then Akshardham. Of course, after Parakram ended in a lame pullback of forces, the number of jihadi terrorist attacks only increased.

Compare this to what happened after the 26th November Mumbai attacks. Despite all our Netas' brave words, we didn't deploy any forces. We simply complained to Unkil, compiling evidence and accumulating dossiers and delivering them to Washington.

And there hasn't been one major jihadi terrorist attack outside of J&K in nearly a year!

WTF can this mean?

It implies that whatever we say about the TSPA/ISI taking clueless America for a ride in Afghanistan, or conning the poor naive Washington policymakers into giving them aid on one hand while supporting the Taliban on the other... whatever we say about the US being "helpless" and "having no choice but to aid Pakistan"... the truth is actually quite different.

It suggests that the US may have enough leverage over the TSPA and ISI to prevent terrorist attacks against India if it wants. That is, a Pakistani hand may be turning on and off the terror tap that pumps Jihadis into India... but it seems that an American hand has a firm grip on that Pakistani hand.

As long as India toes the American line... as long as we do what Washington wants, refrain from military buildups along the Pak border, refrain from threatening war against Pakistan, refrain from interfering with Washington's "Af-Pak" policy... it seems that America can and will ensure that Pakistan's ISI doesn't launch terrorist attacks against India.

The other side of the coin is, what if India decides not to go along with Washington's line? American demands can and will change, after all, as Obama's "Af-Pak" policy continues to "evolve" (for lack of a better word). At some point it is very possible that Holbrooke and co. might decide to lean on Delhi for Kashmir this and Kashmir that.

So let's say India does something to displease Unkil and shortly afterwards a major jihadi terrorist attack DOES occur against India. There is 400% plausible deniability for Unkil, of course. Who in their right mind is going to publicly blame the US? They would be a laughing stock! Any message inherent in the terrorist attack would be for our Dilli Billis to perceive and interpret as they see fit... that's all.

Should we look at Sharm-el-Sheikh in a new light now?
