BRF Meet in Bay Area

Some BRFites are doing a focussed meeeting in Bay Area today (16th July - Friday):

Following is the Agenda:




Agenda 1:
i. Discussion on Indic movement
- What is the core - presentation & discussion
- What is being articulated
- fighting non-issues
- absense of competency & no formal skill development
- examples


ii. Some case studies of good intellectual / civilizational response:

- Shri Parag Tope, author of the book "Tatya Tope's Operation Red Lotus" will speak in the meeting. He is a descendent of Tatya Tope of 1857 war. He and his family has brought out an wonderful book on 1857 war "Tatya Tope's Operation Red Lotus". It has been published by Rupa. Book website is : http://tatyatope.com/.



iii. We will also have a small introduction to the work done by the regional language website on showcasing Nationalistic principles. We will have two members in the meeting who are working in this site. They have got a very good readership now and also they are bringing out books of high quality. They can share how their work is creating a sizable educated youngster group.

iv. Some upcoming lectures series planned in 2010 & 2011.

v. A good silent activism in a state in US to change the textbook curriculum learning from California example.


Agenda 2:
vi. Talk & interaction with a policy research person & strategist of a National Party in India - through phone

House rules:
No cross questioning in the middle of talks to maintain the focus.
Questions & interaction will be slightly moderated to keep the track of the meeting.

There is an official group that organizes Bay Area BRF meets. I dont know who is organizing this meet. So please dont say its BRF meet.
