I have searched a lot for that song, but never found it on the internet. I can still recall how it was sung, the tune and everything, but just cant find the song only by lyrics.

This is the "politically correct translation" of this poem, Raghuvanshi ji. The original poem is very harsh.

Bengali version:

চিত্ত যেথা ভয়শূন্য উচ্চ যেথা শির,
জ্ঞান যেথা মুক্ত, যেথা গৃহের প্রাচীর
আপন প্রাংগণতলে দিবস-শর্বরী
বসুধারে রাখে নাই খণড ক্ষুদ্র করি,

যেথা বাক্য হৃদযের উতসমুখ হতে

what today is 14th, are we celebrating our independence from the yahoos to the west as well ?

On the eve of the day we remember when Mother India broke free from her shackles, let us renew our promise that never again shall we let Her fall into such a situation again, come what may.

p.s. there aren't any renditions of kadam kadam badaye ja on youtube of the version I prefer, the simple and not overtly cinematic one. this one's not bad.
