Thanks Vipins
The RCS of RSS Formidable beats anything which IN has got. Hopefully IN has taken note of the design for its future ships

People were surprised to see ‘UN’ inscribed on the helmets of Rapid Action Force personnel moving in the city.

Probably they were previously deployed on UN duties outside India, and never bothered to peel off those stickers.

negi wrote:^ Interesting information , btw do we have a picture of MKI with 754 pod ? I think debate started based on pics of UPAZ-1A from Karlo Kopp's site which are Su-27K shots.
I am not sure if the image is of IAF Su-30 but it surely is a Su-30.

Wow! these are really nice pictures. That is a great talent and commitment.

It is very sad that DRDO web-designing team does not have a even small hint of what they can do?

What they did on main DRDO website is a shameful act and disgrace.

They copied most famous Iwo jima memorial and pasted Indian flag on top of American flag and proudly displayed that on main DRDO website. Drdo.gov.in
look at picture 5

That means they go here and there to get hair-raising pictures. They never knew Kargil-war happened and that great Indian heroes shed their blood to recapture our sovereignty.

Yes, these fools at DRDO could PROUDLY displayed TIGER HILL CApture - Damn damn damn,,, they could not get this common sense. They copied American pride.

Where is Gaur - Is he reading this?

Gaur - you invest your precious time in making nice graphics - Why don't you send your creations to DRDO foolish web-designing team.

I wonder DRDO is a complete "Ctrl-C" shop. including the scientific team.

That clearly shows you can live with shame. What a life!

Using image for avatars or on matrimony pages is different from using that on 'DRDO.GOV.IN' page

I don't want to remember DRDO today.

I want to remember SC Bose, MK Gandhi and Capt. Batra of Tiger Hill.

I want to laugh on that childish behavior of some of the members here, who can ridicule their soldiers to a great extent

So THAT is the origin of the Iwo Jima + Tricolour pic. It is being circulated all around Facebook, and I was thinking it is the work of some ignorant youngster.
I agree with suraj p. Even if DRDO web designing team did not edit the Iwo Jima photo, its a disgrace that they displayed it on their website. It is a disrespect to the brave soldiers of both nations.

Hi,
Thanks for your compliments and suggestions,
I will add some dust clouds around arjun.

I have also started processing the photo of kargil war-heroes yesterday.
Its very blurry and desaturated, but i will be able to finish it up by evening, so stay tuned, we wont need the iwo+jima tricolor then.

No one here is against DRDO rather many of us are DRDO fans. They are just angry because the people they love most(DRDO) are careless about presenting themselves to world in proper, neat and genuine way.

Thanks Sameer. Every time I see that picture of Capt. Vikram batra and his tigers on Tiger hill, I cannot say how proud I go.
I wish DRDO used Kargil heroes photos - and claim 'dedicated to nation-building'.

sameer_shelavale,
Very nice wallpapers. Eagerly waiting for the next set. :)
And yes, you are absolutely right. We have great respect for DRDO which is why we are even more shocked when we see them stooping to such low levels that they feel the need to borrow from American Military history. As atreya rightly said, it is a disrespect to the brave soldiers of both Nations.
Even if DRDO is short of digital artists (which would be understandable), I am sure that there are enough jingo artists who would contribute happily for free. They only need to ask. At least I would think it as great honour if I was able to contribute in any small way with whatever little skill I have. I imagine that this would be a sentiment that would be shared by many others.

Sorry but you and many others just do not get it. And unfortunately because of this chalta-hai attitude we have a faux pas like what DRDO's Iwo Jima photoshop stunt is. DRDO being an official GoI institution should know better - do you see Tiger Hill on US DOD websites or perhaps Canadian defence forces websites? Proper presentation of one's national pride is not something to go   about. Like it or not, it is one of the dominant means of representing one's nation.

Otherwise perhaps we should become a whore like Pakistan who neither cares for image nor respect but is content to have coins thrown at it and claim to be paltu kutta (faithful dog) of whoever pays the most?

It seems BRF has failed to educate some of its members.

Raghavendra, Unfortunately ignorance of the sort demonstrated by DRDO (or whichever private firm it sub-contracted its website design to) in this regard goes way beyond what can be charitably termed as an "Honest Mistake". In most other countries heads would roll for this - make no mistake about that.
