Christian subversive activities against India

Post by abhischekcc »

We discuss Islamic terror in plenty of detail. I remember a time when BRF was a hard core secular place, there has been positive change in a decade.

We now need to start discussing Christian terrorism against India as well. Somehow this phenomenon has gotten less attention than it deserves, that is because:
1. Christians are experts at hiding their terror acts under the garb of other movements - secularism, Nagaland, communists, Maoists, etc
2. The media top executives is heavily populated by either Christians or by convent educated (anti) Hindus - they do not allow criticism of Christian religion at all in the name of free speech.

I urge members to use this thread to document the various anti India and anti Hindu activities. Let us go overboard and discuss the anti Islamic activities, as the muslim community takes good care of that anyway.

We need a record of their activities as it will help in understanding the strategic situation that is building up around India.

There has been a recent move to brand Hindu acts of resistance against muslim and christian aggression as terrorism. It is time to set the record straight.

-----------------

To begin at the beginning - the Niyogi report (which can be found here - http://voiceofdharma.org/books/ncr/ )

And wikipedia entry on it:
The Niyogi Committee Report On Christian Missionary Activities is a report published by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in 1956. It is divided into two volumes and three parts. It is a controversial report on missionary activities in India. The Committee which was chaired by M. Bhawani Shankar Niyogi, a retired Chief Justice of the Nagpur High Court included five other members viz. M.B.Pathak, Ghanshyam Singh Gupta, S.K.George, Ratanlal Malaviya and Bhanu Pratap Singh.
The report, set up by a Congress Party government, took a view "close to" that of the Hindu nationalist movement. It recommended the "legal prohibition" of religious conversion not "completely voluntary", which was not implemented as it would have been "difficult to formulate and indeed to apply without violating the precepts of religious liberty enshrined in the Indian Constitution"[1].

The Niyogi Committee Report

The Committee contacted 11,360 persons, interviewed people from 700 different villages and received 375 written statements and 385 replies from a questionnaire.[2] They visited hospitals, schools, churches and other institutions in 14 districts.[3] It toured several areas and talked to witnesses who were "mostly prejudiced"[4]. The questionnaire had 99 questions, and was described by the High Court thus:
a long and searching document.. in many places it amounts to an accusation. Some of the questions border on an inquisition, and may well be equated to a "fishing expedition" on the supposition that something discreditable can be discovered[4].
The Committee recorded that "there was a general complaint from the non-Christian side that the schools and hospitals were being used as means of securing converts." It said that "Reference was also made to the practice of the Roman Catholic priests or preachers visiting newborn babies to give ‘ashish’ (blessings) in the name of Jesus, taking sides in litigation or domestic quarrels, kidnapping of minor children and abduction of women and recruitment of labour for plantations in Assam or Andaman as a means of propagating the Christian faith among the ignorant and illiterate people." (Goel 1998, p.13)[5]
The report writes that especially Roman Catholic missions used money-lending as a device for proselytisation. They gave loans which were later written off if the debtor became a Christian. (Goel 1998, p.115)[6]

Controversy
The Committee was set up in response to the Bharatiya Jana Sangh's protest movement, "The Anti-Foreign Missionary Week"; the movement was suspended once the Committee was formed[1].
The Roman Catholic Church withdrew its co-operation with the Committee, and filed a petition against the Committee at the High Court in 1955. The High Court dismissed the Petition in April 1956.[7]
The report stirred controversy in India. It was criticized by theologians, Christians and politicians.[8] The recommendations of the report influenced Bills passed by the State Governments against forcible conversions.[9]

And the most important part of the report:
The recommendations of the report
The committee gave the following recommendations:[10]
(1) those missionaries whose primary object is proselytisation should be asked to withdraw and the large influx of foreign missionaries should be checked;
(2) the use of medical and other professional services as a direct means of making conversions should be prohibited by law;
(3) attempts to convert by force or fraud or material inducements, or by taking advantage of a person’s inexperience or confidence or spiritual weakness or thoughtlessness, or by penetrating into the religious conscience of persons for the purpose of consciously altering their faith, should be absolutely prohibited;
(4) the Constitution of India should be amended in order to rule out propagation by foreigners and conversions by force, fraud and other illicit means;
(5) legislative measures should be enacted for controlling conversion by illegal means;
(6) rules relating to registration of doctors, nurses and other personnel employed in hospitals should be suitably amended to provide a condition against evangelistic activities during professional service; and
(7) circulation of literature meant for religious propaganda without approval of the State Government should be prohibited. (Goel 1998, 163-164)
This was in 1956, mind you. The situation has gotten worse since then.

The real reason for the blockade of Manipur earlier this year:
A couple of years ago, media was shouting about 'Hindu Terror'. Somehow, they do not speak about ‘Christian terror’ which has been present in India’s North-eastern states for a long period. Tribals who converted to Christianity are equipped with weapons and made to fight a ‘war of independence’ against India. Manipur is a unique state where about 60% of the people (mostly in Inner Manipur district – around Imphal) are ethnic Manipuris who are Meitei Vaishnavas. The Nagas (who form the rest of the population) live in Outer Manipur district and they have been converted to Christianity en-masse. Meitei Vaishnavas are proving to be a tough nut to crack for the Christian missionaries and have been targeted by Christian terrorists through the decades.

For the past five weeks, Manipur has been held at ransom by Christian Naga terrorists under Muivah. A blockade has been imposed on the highways. Supplies of life-saving drugs, fuel etc. have been affected. Food prices have rocketed sky-high.

Interestingly, Naga terrorists have direct links with the Baptist Church. That the Church has direct influence on these terrorists is proved by the fact that Manipur Government has sent a delegation of Church leaders to Nagaland in order to convince the terrorists to life the economic blockade. See below:
http://www.indianexpress.com/news/Manip ... ade/620133

How many people know about this blockade? How many TV channels have covered this incident and how many have stated the truth that this is a case of ‘Christian Terrorism’ or to be more specific ‘Baptist Terrorism’? These terrorists are trying to partition the country on religious line once again.

History has shown that every part of the country which became non-Hindu majority was lost to India forever – e.g. Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Now, it seems to be the turn of NE states and Kashmir. Also, the continuing illegal immigration of Bangladeshi Muslims into border districts is turning into a security nightmare. We may lose those districts as well. The current situation is pretty dangerous. But the masses remain oblivious to the situation as our ‘media’ are turning a blind eye to the suffering of these Vaishnava Hindus at the hands of Christian terrorists.

From the above link:

With efforts to move in supplies through National Highway 53 not yielding any result, the Manipur government on Monday sought the help of the Church in the state to reach out to its counterparts in Nagaland to find ways to lift the NH-39 blockade that has choked the state.

A nine-member delegation of the All Manipur Church Association left for Kohima on Monday at the instance of the state government with the specific agenda of seeking help of the Church bodies in Nagaland to reopen NH-39 that has remained blocked since May 6. “We hope that the civil society and the Church in Nagaland will convince the Naga Students’ Federation to lift the blockade on humanitarian grounds so that the common man does not have to starve in Manipur,” N Biren Singh, Sports Minister and spokesperson of the Congress-led SPF government, said.

While movement of all kinds of vehicles to Manipur along the NH-39 through Nagaland has remained shut from May 6, following a blockade announced by the NSF in protest against the Manipur government’s refusal of entry to NSCN(IM) leader Thuingaleng Muivah, another blockade called by the All Manipur Naga Students’ Association (ANSAM) has blocked both NH-39 and NH-53 since April 11. The ANSAM has been opposing holding of election to the autonomous district councils in the hill districts of Manipur.
Now ask yourself - why did the Manipur government not ask the central government to do it?
Well, they must have. But the central government is dominated by people pandering to Christian/western interests, hence would not have supported them.

Christian activity in Tamil Nadu

http://janamejayan.wordpress.com/catego ... -in-india/
All Christian missionaries from Robert-De-Nobili to Robert Caldwell, all Christian priests like Thaninayagam and evangelists like
Deivanayagam, worked and are working for the same agenda of hijacking Tamil language, erasing its Hindu identity, destroying the native
culture, converting the natives and ultimately forming a Tamil Christian Nation comprising Tamil Nadu and North and East of Sri Lanka.

Dravidian racists, lacking in pride, passion and patriotism, have joined hands with the Church and Christian establishments to alienate the Tamil region from the national mainstream. The situation is ominous, and we need to defeat the nefarious designs of vested interests at any cost.

Very few people know that the oldest terrorist movement in India is the Christian Naga movement.

abhishekcc ji,

I appreciate what you are trying to point out, but my recommendation is you change the topic heading. BRF is not just about awareness, but also about effective propaganda directed at a wide audience. The current topic heading would belie the latter goal.

My suggestion would be "Mischief by Christian Groups in India". The rest is as you and moderators wish!
