At least six foreign miscreants were arrested Monday, along with cache of arms and suicide attack plans on Pakistani law enforcement seized in Hangu, Orakzai tribal area in northwest Pakistan, local sources said.
The arms include rocket launchers, Kalashnikovs, hand grenades and a large quantity of live mortar shells and bullets, according to Hangu District Police Officers (DPO).
The arrested militants were reported to be Afghan nationals, local sources said citing police. They were planning to do suicide attacks in Hangu and adjacent tribal areas in the northwest Pakistan, local sources said.

Military coups not possible in Pakistan: Musharraf

Mushy is on a roll.BERLIN: Former military ruler Pervez Musharraf said that the times of military coups in Pakistan are over and the latest political developments have shown that the Supreme Court has set a bar on itself not to validate a military takeover.
"The West blames Pakistan for everything. Nobody asks the Indian prime minister, why did you arm your country with a nuclear weapon? Why are you killing innocent civilians in Kashmir? Nobody was bothered that Pakistan got split in 1971 because of India's military involvement. The United States and Germany gave statements, but they didn't mean anything," ex-dictator Pervez Musharraf said in an interview with German magazine Der Spiegel.

That flag-snatching episode by the good doctor who led the paki CWG contingent just doesnt seem to go away. Here's a tongue-in-cheek look at the incident:
Chief de Mission falls in RAW trap
Chief de Mission falls in RAW trap
Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) that was planning for months to humiliate and malign Pakistani sports contingent to the 19th Commonwealth Games, appears to have succeeded in trapping Pakistani contingent’s Chief de Mission as they managed to convince him to lead the contingent in the ground at the opening ceremony but failed to get the desired results due to sharp presence of mind and patriotism of the victimized Pak Weightlifter.
Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah snatched the National Flag from the pre-nominated athlete Shuja-ud-Din Malik without realizing at all for a moment that he was in country where the hostile media was just waiting for any single goof-up by any member of Pak contingent pushed the entire national pride and honour in jeopardy and opted to create a scene at the venue.
He even did not realize that in this age of his he was quite vulnerable to a sudden cardiac arrest by lifting such heavy weight while a genuine heavy weightlifter was already there to do the job quite smartly and quite deservingly. He also completely failed to realize that all other Chief de Missions were genuine athletes too and were not just politicians or Ministers to do the job while he was made Chief de Mission merely due to political manipulation.
Dr. Shah did not object the weightlifter carrying the flag as it was a quite normal move, right in accordance with the norms and past traditions. However, the things started to twist when “certain suspicious” local admirers of Pakistani contingents met Dr. Shah, one after the other along with certain sweets, bouquets and sort of “juices” and convinced Shah that many other Chief de Missions were set to lead their respective contingents along with their National Flags and it was an insult of Shah that him being an all powerful Minister should let just merely a weightlifter do such and honourable and prestigious job they were also heard informing Shah that a group of sports lovers at Delhi had planned to organize a variety of colourful private parties and value-added hospitality services for the flag holders of a few selected countries and Pakistan was right there on the list.
The Daily Mail’s findings indicate that the Fans were actually RAW’s undercover officials and managed to cultivate Shah to create a huge embarrassment for Pakistan. However this RAW ploy could not gain complete success due to the intelligent and smart move by the weightlifter and his coach, who did not resist when Shah snatched flag from the actual and pre-nominated leader.

Watch out for terrorist in NATO dress
Combat materials, including sophisticated communication devices and heavy duty generators, meant for NATO troops are stolen by transporters and sold to militants in Pakistan, a media report said on Sunday.
A godown of stolen items of NATO forces, including combat material, was unearthed in Islamabad's rural area of Tarnol during a police raid Saturday night. Four people were arrested in the operation.
Pakistani newspaper Dawn said quoting police sources that the dealer of the stolen supplies of NATO sold the items to individuals and a large quantity of them were purchased by militants.
The Saturday raid was carried on the basis of a tip off from four people who were arrested Friday when another godown of NATO items were seized from the same locality.
The seized items include sophisticated equipments used during combat, communication systems, wireless sets, heavy duty generators, mountain divers kits, stretchers, water bags, shoes and gloves.
Besides, vehicles such as four-wheel DG-5 and six-wheel DG-3 used as armed personnel carriers and accessories of helicopters were also seized during the raid.
According to a senior police officer, out of the four people arrested Friday, two were buyers and the two others owned the godown. The buyers had come from Landi Kotal to purchase generators and some other goods.
The godown owners told police that the transporters of NATO supplies unload the goods at their doorstep and any locality as convenient to them.
"Normally the transporters stole some items from the supplies and sometimes they unload the entire containers," the officer quoted the accused as saying.
"Whenever, the entire container was stolen for them, the transporters set them on fire on the pretext of Taliban's attack," he was quoted as saying.
The officer was also told during questioning that there were more godowns in Islamabad and other cities where huge quantity of stolen items of NATO supplies were kept. He said the transporters get handsome amount for stealing the goods from the supplies.

Whatever Tharoor's idiosyncrasies the report of Hanif's behavior was illuminating. Hanif appears to be a dyed in the wool RAPE. But let me piskofy and take a bet. I bet Hanif has an army background in that he comes from a Paki army family. It is RAPE with army backgrounds who are most sullen and angry and unrelentingly hate India and push the K word because that is literally their "jaguar vein". It does not matter if the rest of Pakistan drowns or dies - but the core Paki RAPE/army establishment will not give up. Need to see if I can dig up Hanifs past. I liked his book though "A case of exploding mangoes". Supremely entertaining.

This is the theme I used consistently when I commented on paki flood articles a country with nuke and 1 million army does not need aid. Looks like western mangoes have also caught on to the theme. I want to see how quickly this feedback gets to the parliaments in these countriesA few pre-conditions for funding:
- clean up your corruption (this should apply to Haiti as well)
- stop oppressing religions you do not agree with.
- give up your nukes (very expensive to maintain) - why should we come to the aid of any country (including China) that has advanced space and nuclear technology? Having these 'toys' should mean that you can afford keeping your populace healthy and alive
- stop sponsoring terror, either directly or indirectly
- start appealing to your borthers-in-arms (literally and figuratively) for aid. Where are the Saudis, and other Gulf States?
Good luck, my cheque will be in the mail soon I hope.

The answer is simple. We don't like Pakistan. In the same way that children don't like asparagus or broccoli. The nation state of Pakistan does not please our palette. We may accept it on our plate, and even grow to like it over time. After all, acceptance of asparagus is healthy as I'm sure so is Pakistan. But for now. We spit it out. Bluuuaahh. No! I will gladly go to bed without dessert. Because at this point in the world's history I am more content to say no to Pakistan on my plate than to suffer the pain of swallowing that vile weed.

I think it been established that it is not a real news/analysis organisation, for all you know it could just be that a teenager with too much free time is behind it. As for BRFits daily dosage of paki CT, we always have the likes of 'lal topi' who are stalwarts in their domain, put in real 'research' and can meet the exacting standards of this forum. Sadanand Dhume has been delivering regular blows to echandee at the WSJ. That an SDRE sitting at the WSJ is delivering this is doubly painful, especially to the "liberals", who had a whole orgy of outrage last year. But much water has flowed down the Indus, as well as many more such articles, so now they appear to be resigned to it. The most recent was Bangladesh, 'Basket Case' No MoreLalmohan wrote:the loss of bangladesh gives the TSPA more khujli than anything else

Not long ago, when you thought of a South Asian country ravaged by floods, governed by bumblers and apparently teetering on the brink of chaos, it wasn't Pakistan that came to mind. That distinction belonged to Bangladesh.

Bangladesh has much to be proud of. Its economy has grown at nearly 6% a year over the past three years. The country exported $12.3 billion worth of garments last year, making it fourth in the world behind China, the EU and Turkey. Against the odds, Bangladesh has curbed population growth. Today the average Bangladeshi woman bears fewer than three children in her lifetime, down from more than six in the 1970s.
The country's leading NGOs—most famously the microcredit pioneer Grameen Bank—have earned a global reputation. Relations with India are on a high. In August, Indian Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee signed off on a $1 billion soft loan for Bangladeshi infrastructure development, the largest such loan in India's history. {nice psyops}
Yet when it comes to government policies and national identity, the two countries diverge sharply. As a percentage of gross domestic product, Islamabad spends more on its soldiers than on its school teachers; Dhaka does the opposite. In foreign policy, Pakistan seeks to subdue Afghanistan and wrest control of Indian Kashmir. Bangladesh, especially under the current dispensation, prefers cooperation to confrontation with its neighbors.
In a way their best known national heroes sum up the two country's personalities. For Bangladesh, it's Grameen Bank's Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus, synonymous with small loans to village women. For Pakistan: Abdul Qadeer Khan, the rogue nuclear scientist who peddled contraband technology to Libya, Iran and North Korea.![]()

Boss of football club linked to cricket fixing found dead
* From: The Australian

THE chairman of an English football club embroiled in the Pakistan cricket team spot-fixing scandal is believed to have killed himself.
Croydon Athletic chairman David Le Cluse, 44, was found dead on Saturday with gunshot wounds in a garage near his home in Sutton, south of London.
The owner of the non-league club, Mazhar Majeed, was arrested in August following allegations members of the Pakistan cricket team were involved in spot-fixing during their tour of England. Le Cluse, married with two children, was said by the team's former manager to have been deeply distressed when the club was linked to the accusations.
A statement on the club's website said: "Croydon Athletic are deeply shocked and saddened by the sudden tragic death of their chairman, David Le Cluse."
Croydon Athletic's former manager Tim O'Shea told The Times: "He was very upset at the allegations and the club
getting involved.
"It probably hit him harder than most because of his personal friendship with Majeed.
"He wanted nothing more than for the club to succeed and he was probably upset and affected by it more than anybody else."
Majeed was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud bookmakers and released on bail following allegations first published in Britain's News of the World Sunday tabloid he'd been involved in a plot that led to Pakistan bowlers deliberately bowling no-balls during a Test match against England at Lord's as part of a betting scam.
In video footage released by the paper, undercover reporters from the News of the World, posing as gamblers, allegedly paid a middleman pound stg. 150,000 ($243,500) in return for exact details of when the no-balls would be delivered.
Metropolitan Police said: "The circumstances of his death are being treated as unexplained.
"Inquiries are ongoing."

On thing that that video reminds me of, with her emphasis on "landlocked" is that the key to US-Paki relationship is Iran. As long as US and Iran maintains a hostile relationship, US has no choice but to keep placating the Pakis one way or the other. India should make every effort to bring a reconciliation between this leading member of the Axis of Evil, and the Great Satan.
