BTW: The exact location: 00:58:44 to 00:59:57. Total 3 shots of VKS as a Lt Col. 2 front profiles & 1 profile from the back. Only time he is referrred to directly is when the Col says: " Hamare paas us jagah ki kuch slides hai, Col V.K. Singh aapko smjha denge...."

True, but its not really that old news - the wiki entry is based on a Sandeep Unnithan's note from April 2010 in India Today.

Still no one posted a screenshot of 'im till now..

^^I had tried to post one earlier this year when I got my Prahaar CD but somehow the screenshot always came up blank (I guess the video framebuffer wasn't getting captured and only the UI framebuffer got captured)

IMO, a sign of the changing dynamics of Air Operations can be gauged from the huge posters the IAF puts out in front/close to recruitment centers and Formation HQ complexes....the one in front of WAC features SU-30MKI, Brahmos and A-50.

On a slightly OT note, Sainik Samachar used to be available online until a couple of years ago. Do they still archive current issues? cant seem to find the latest issues online. Does anyone know where I can find them?

For commercial activity it is fine since these are any way not in hands of GOI and they enjoy significant share , but for GOI task and sensitive installation one needs to beware , AFNET entire backup and significant part of its network runs on CISCO devices.

At the risk of taking a beating , I am not sure how many NSA contract worker would have frontended CISO engagement in this role.

I think the IAF/MOD would have given ample thought about this and only after that allowed for CISCO's participation.
