the city of birmingham even sponsors a 'balti trail' - a series of 'balti restaurants' where you can go in sequence and tick off a card with their names on. once done you get a t-shirt

as far as i can make out balti is a pak take on karahi, i think they were trying to ulloofy the goras and it stuck
