Ok folks. Rhetoric aside, let us see what's going to happen. Just like Jagan in AP, Hooda is trying to do the same in Haryana. If INC loses " K " portion from KHAM how is it planning for future. This is the most intriguing part. They lost it in AP. There got to be a game plan to this madness from rajmata and co.

Why Telangana and what was discussed everywhere and in the first 20 and pages of this thread too and there is no point anymore. I request everyone to focus and see the future and see if it forms or not and if it forms what will happen. Rhetoric is either bad blood or just fun.

If Congress is really interested in giving Telangana there is no need for the stupid Sri Krishna Commission. They should have passed the bill in parliament with BJP support. Why in the world they have to delay? It is extremely simple, the congress party want a way to rollback/exit and we do not know if they will really rollback or give in.

Regarding give Telangana, it all depends upon passing it in the cabinet that has Pranab Da and Mamta. In addition BJP offered help as recently as a week days ago "to introduce it and let us pass it." Why INC has such a cold shoulder to Telangana bros?

Now comes the the following news in the sequence:
(1) Radia tapes
(2) Raja's resignation
(3) Jagan's resignation
(4) New tapes from Radia to really fix MMS
(5) No parl session (How to pass Telangana).
(6) BJP and Left planning to do the same for budget session too.
(7) Meanwhile Haryana INC is heading for a crisis. Hooda may do something like Jagan
(8) Central INC may split
(9) The grapevine is full of news like Pranab Da as PM or potential snap polls

In these circumstance we have to see how much more delay this Telangana is going to be.... How much this is even important before the other volcanic explosions.

Jagan's revolt is inspiring other INC's groups across the country. Either there will be many new Congresses or a mega dissident alternate Congress.
PP guy is quite worried as he is Sonia hanger-on. Again lets see. A lot of big things may or may not happen.

http://www.politicsparty.com/haryana_topple.php

If Chautala forms govt it could be a good alternate.

I think TRS is feeling the pressure.

Deccan Chronicle reports:
Dec. 13: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti on Monday termed the Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen a communal outfit while the latter accused TRS leaders of using students as pawns for their narrow ends.

The two parties launched a no-holds-barred attack on each other in the Assembly for the first time on various issues which have been simmering for long. While the MIM floor leader, Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi, criticised the TRS for not showing any sympathy to hundreds of Muslims languishing in jails in false cases, the TRS lashed out at the MIM saying it had no sympathy for Telangana students who had been jailed.

Mr Owaisi, who demanded the release of Muslim youth arrested after the Macca Masjid blast, asked, “Why did the TRS not ask for their release? Are we not part of Telangana?”

The MIM leader also urged students not to become pawns in the hands of Telangana leaders and spoil their future and asked for the prosecution of leaders who portray those who had relocated to the capital from other regions as “settlers”.

Angered by the MIM comments, the TRS also launched a scathing attack on the party accusing it of fomenting communal flare-ups for narrow political ends and destroying the secular culture of Hyderabad.

The TRS floor leader, Mr Etala Rajender, the deputy leader, Mr T. Harish Rao, Mr K.T. Rama Rao and other MLAs took strong exception to Mr Owaisi's statements. “Majlis preaching Gandhian philosophy is a joke,” said Mr Rajender.

“The party always indulged in communal politics. It never sympathised with those who had died for Telangana. But Muslims are not with the MIM. They want Telangana.” Mr Rajendar said the government did not take action when an MIM MLA publicly fired in the air in Abids and another MLA attacked Ms Tasleema Nasreen in Hyderabad Press Club in full view of the media. At the same it had jailed Telangana students involved in petty offences such as rasta roko, he added.

“Why is MIM silent on GO 610 which deprived Hyderabad people of jobs? Why it is silent on free zone?”said the TRS leader. Mr Rajender also rebutted the MIM leader’s statement that students were being used as pawns by the TRS. “Osmania and Kakatiya university students who are in the forefront of the Telangana agitation are all well educated. They are fighting for justice.”
Its getting serious. So MIM is with the ruling party.

They (MIM) will be used as catalyst against Telangana formation or even Hyd as seperate entity. IMO that is what has started. Even Nadendla Bhaskar Rao had overthrown NTR using Governer, Owaisi was the speaker. They are always with congress.

The news eminating from the coastal areas is that Jagan is actually taking over piece by peice of INC infrastructure. His strategy is that not to bring down the government but force INC to dismiss the Jagan-loyals. How many INC can dismiss? That is the strategy.

In Krishna district there is no congress leader who is talking about congress party. It is Jagan all the way. Lagadapati is refusing to talk against Jagan. This is bad news even for Chiranjeevi. The congress base in this TDP stronghold is with Jagan. Seems like next election is Jagan Vs. TDP.

Meanwhile KCR thinks that Jagan leaving INC means INC is out of Seemandhra and that vulenerabiliy of congress itself is good for Telangana and the chances of the new state are really good. Very good pressure tactic. I have seen for the first time some real good psyops from this otherwise babbling-swinger.

It may make decision of the T more difficult. INC does not know how much support Jagan has in Telangana now. Once he starts visiting the areas they will know. Present indications are he has some followers. INC may use TRS to attack him on the roads etc just like last time. But now since he is out of congress his supporters has no restriction on retaliation. Let us hope there will no loss of life.

Few thoughts...

* KCR and T-parties want to remove all the cases on T-agitators... why can't they wait till 12/31 and remove them themselves in a new telangana state?

* MIM wants to remove all cases on "peaceful" muslim youth filed during bomb attacks and terror strikes... can someone do that please?

If we can remove cases based on region, religion why filing cases at all? can we use the entire police force to clean roads and sewers instead.

P.S: Can BRF mods give mass-clemency for all posters and remove all those warnings/bans?

I don't know how far this is true..This is by Shafi Rahman from India Today.

Telangana: Statehood booster
Laying down a strong case for a separate state, the Commission on Telangana, according to the sources, has concluded that there is an overwhelming and emotionally charged demand for carving out Telangana state.

One of the terms of reference of the commission was to examine the impact of recent developments in the state on different sections of people. The commission, headed by Justice B.N. Srikrishna, will submit its report by late December.
The commission looked into 1.25 lakh representations and held wide-ranging consultations within the state before firming up its conclusions. The commission, following its terms of reference, will not specifically say whether a separate state should be formed, but will recommend a plan of action and roadmap for the future. Many of the findings of the commission will strengthen the demand for the state and give statistical backing to it.

The second chapter of the commission report, which deals with development issues within the state, specifically mentions that the Telangana region has been historically neglected, and suggests that setting up a separate state will help bringing in development to the neglected region. Chapter 7, which looked into disparity in employment opportunities, says that job opportunities for the people from Telangana have improved during the last few years but are yet to reach desired levels.

The commission is also not in favour of turning Greater Hyderabad into a union territory, as some leaders of the Congress and the Telugu Desam Party demand. These leaders argue that Hyderabad has a large number of settlers from Andhra and Rayalaseema regions and it cannot become part of Telangana state. The report also notes that there has been lack of political consensus on the issue.

No one other than Union Governament knows what is there in that report. India Today may be taking 50% chance in putting what ever it wants. Resently I was in Hyd and met some highly placed police person. According to him some 50000 para militory forces are going to be deployed shortly in AP. Entire police force is now taking orders from Narasimhan and Kiran Kumar Reddy and both of them have made up their mind to deal with any riots etc. As per intel T vadis are storing riot related items big way in rural areas and planing attacks on non telangana people living in rural and semi Urban areas. If such unfortunate events take place they it will create lot of probelms.

Further let us not assume it will be so easy for Sonia to get a AP assembly opinion with Jagan now running all over Congress in the AP. giving Telangana means losing 25 MP seats in any elections and may even mean losing 22 siting MP's at Present. Further what about the lot of old/new movements that will raise where some KCR like un employed politicos are there. Bye Bye Rohul baba for PM in 2014 Dream.

Players
i) ChandraBabu Naidu/CBN: You all know who he is, but is many times put on the defence by calling him a back stabber, which he had done to NTR, president of TDP. - from Chittor district. Lost the farmer base because of his policies which are generally urban.
Image
ii) NTR (CBN's father in law): (postumous) cine hero, former CM, brought the equation of telugu pride into politics, founder of TDP.
Image
iii) KCR: founder of TRS (telangana rashtra samiti), has been a continuous agitator since 2000. only agenda is telangana. not even development of telangana is on agenda. Was deputy speaker of assembly in TDP, but because of no ministry, floated TRS.
Image
iv) YSR: (postumous) the only strong CM to come from congress (after JVR in 1978) in 30 years, developed a mass base and farmers base. died in a heli crash 15 months ago. known factionist and corrupt. a christian and propped his son in law to be a EJ, to skim off money from those sources.- from Kadapa
Image
v) Jagan: (YSR's son): trying to get hold of CMs post by living off YSRs legacy, got 150 mla's signature(required 145) for it but Sonia G said no. This whole year he spent on "odarpu"/consoling yatra, to console all those who committed **"suicides"** on hearing YSR's death. Came out of congress recently and will be establishing a new Party soon. Established "Sakshi" newspaper and tv news channel which basically is his mouth piece. He orchestrated his own exit from congress by publishing an anti Sonia piece in his news channel. Sakshi has risen to a position where it competes with "eenadu" newspaper, which was the dominant newspaper since 1980's.
Image
vi) Rosiah: the chair warmer CM after YSR's death. Couldnt control telangana movement nor Jagan. Was known an able adminstrator before as finance minister for more than 10 years and strong tongue in assembly but lost it in these 15 months.Image
vii) N Kiran Kumar Reddy/KKR: the new CM hoisted by high command to control Jagan, but even his cabinet formation became a joke as his ministers refused to take the portfolios and required high command's intervention. was a YSR supporter, but hey it is politics.
Image
viii) Ramoji Rao: Owner of eenadu newspaper and E TV botique of channels. The newspaper pawned every other newspaper in telugu until Sakshi with YSR and govt's full weight behind Sakshi brought it down from a monopolistic position to a major player level. Lost some control over them to a foreign company in the full on fight with YSR, when YSR brought out some details over Ramoji's finance company Margadarshi and shut it down. Generally takes an anti-congress position with support waving for TDP.
Image

Bit Players/ Jokers of the Pack:
i) Chiranjeevi: film actor. wanted to emulate NTR, but won 20 mlas instead of NTR's 200. Said no to telangana after the elections during last year disturbances, so lost his party's telangana base completely, such that apart from hyderabad, cant visit anywhere else. is tending towards congress. Reports that congress high command wanted to take him in already, but some congress seniors asked to wait. When Jagan weans away some mlas from congress, his 20 mlas might become crucial.
Image
ii) Kaka: Congress senior dalit leader and supporter of telangana

iii) JayaPrakash Narayan /JP: founder of loksatta. Espouses a clean corruption free cause. has a base in highly educated elite. he is the only mla from his party.
iv) BJP: has some base in hyderabad and thats about it.

Politics History:
Andhra Pradesh is usually divided into three Parts.
Telangana (9 districts has hyderabad), Coastal Andhra (sometimes abbreviated as coasta(kosta)/ andhra -10 districts) and Rayalseema (abbreviated as seema, 4 districts).

Some parts of kosta are agriculturally rich due to delta regions of krishna and godavari rivers. Those delta districts are east godavari, west godavari, krishna and guntur. The north kosta/ or in the map of AP, the wire extension in the right is backward and tribal and are actually part of the tribal landscape of chattisgarh and orissa.
Seema is an arid region with minimal rainfall. This region is famous for factional fueds. Rakhta Charitra by RGV is an almost realistic take of the politics of the situation. The big sir in the movie was YSR himself.
Telangana has rainfall but is part of deccan plateau (height is higher) and water drains away. So to have projects, most of the water has to be pumped to heights instead of using gravity. This is a cause of lot of heart burn in Telangana, as they can see the water but cannot use it. Godavari remains the most underutilized river in the whole of south india due to this reason.

Telangana was ruled by Nizam as a part of hyderabad kingdom, whereas kosta and seema formed part of the madras state at the time of independence.
After independence, the telugu parts of madras state, i.e. seema and kosta leaders wanted out. These leaders reached an agreement within themselves to give capital to seema and highcourt to kosta and started agitating. Nehru didnt want to give it. Potti Sri Ramulu did a hunger strike and died doing the fast. Nehru couldnt handle the agitations and declared a telugu state. It was the first state to be formed on language basis. "Andhra Rashtram" was the state formed in 1953 with Kurnool in seema as capital.

Now seeing Andhra Rashtram, the telugu parts of hyderabad state also wanted out, but were afraid to join fearing domination. So a "gentlemen's agreement" was reached, between the leaders of the two regions(andhra rashtram and telangana) that basically laid out the conditions like deputy CM should always be from the other part as CM and so on. Thus "Andhra Pradesh" present state was born in 1956.

Usually the telangana agitations are born when a telangana leader is out of job. The first agitations started out in 1969 around 13 years after AP. Indira brought a Telangana leader as CM, PVN (yup the same PVN) to control it. He couldnt suppress it and president's rule came. After 2 years Jalagam Vengal Rao, came in, who crushed the agitations and mostly by taking in the out of job telangana leader.

In the meantime, there was also a agitation in which Kosta wanted out. I dont remember the details, but it also petered out after some time.

The last of these agitations were in 1974-75 until KCR found himself jobless in 2001.

In the mean time, what has happened is, with hyderabad being the capital, even the kosta and seema public and industrialists started building their lives in hyderabad. Before these people used to go Chennai/Madras as part of Madras state.

The telugu film industry is one such example. It has always been dominated by people from Seemaandhra (Shorcut for Rayalseema + coastal andhra). It started during the time of Madras state when telugu, tamil, malayalam and kannada films all were made in Madras. The industry shifted to hyderabad in 1970s-80s, but the players remained the same. and the same thing continued in many industries.

Hyderabad is a curious entity in the middle of all this. Remember it was part of the Nizam rule. During that time, obviously the control was in the hands of muslims, not the telugu speaking. Muslims even today form 25% of hyderabad. The shift in control was complete from them was complete even demographically (except in old city) in the 90s by which time, even costa and seema people had started thinking of it as their capital as well.

Thus you see that telangana has good support for it in north telangana, medium support in south telangana and no support in hyderabad which is supposed to be telangana's capital. To counter this, telangana politicians have started talking to the costa and seema origin people in hyderabad as "settlers" and many times advocated violence against these people.

This in a nutshell is AP's politics as of today

Excellent one, ravi_ku. One more "for-rent" persona is Akbaruddin Owaisi who demanded that "youth" of the community were being harassed by police in the aftermath of blast in Mecca Masjid in 2007. To which Kiran Kumar Reddy had the usual Congress-style answer.
AP govt ready to apologise to Muslim youth - The Times of India http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city ... z18HN2Ct24

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has said his government was ready to apologise to Muslims if it was established that innocent youth of the community were deliberately harassed by police in the aftermath of blast in Mecca Masjid here in 2007.

Reacting to the demand raised by Majlis Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi during Question Hour in the State Assembly today, the chief minister also promised to extend necessary financial assistance to youth who were implicated in the blast-related cases.

Meanwhile, Great Andhra new site states:

Sonia may opt for Prez rule to counter Jagan
http://www.greatandhra.com/viewnews.php ... 15&scat=16

What would the Congress high command do in the coming days, after seeing the kind of response former Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is getting for his tours across the state?

The Congress leadership is caught in a quandary as to what it should do to checkmate Jagan.
It is very clear that present chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is absolutely in no position to tackle the rebel leader as he does not have any hold over any of the Congress MLA.
President's rule or no president's rule, between the KKRs, the Kadapa Knight Rider Jagan may soon overwhelm Delhi para-dropped nominee Kiran Kumar Reddy. As someone rightly said, with a coalition partner, Congress governments manage to wobble around the full term, but with a simple majority, they tend to fight amongst themselves and need constant changing of guards.

So Sarma garu - it is early kite flying by the media. Too early Shankranti I guess :)

Added later:
The "backwardness" portion is obvious and no commission can run false stories with the statistical data that is available. In fact, if they had did a comparision of all the areas of erstwhile Nizam/Hyd state they will find the portions of AP (also called as Telangana) developed far better than those in Karnataka or Maharashtra.

This whole thing that we are backward because of Andhra looters is a "victimhood as weapon" being used for ages. MNS and SS do the same in Maha.

Muppalla garu :D I find the DC report more credible, not simply because of what it says about the contents of the Sri Krishna Committee report, but because it has some statistics. The India Today report is focussed more on the emotional aspect of the T-agitation, which nobody denies. As Kamaraj would say, parkalaam.

Sachin garu,

While Owaisis are limited to Hyderabad and has very little sway in AP politics, they can become a dominating force (for obvious reasons) in a hypothetical Telangana state.

My CT is that MIM is the secret weapon of Congress in whole Telangana state issue.

The agitations in 1969 and again in 1970 are which are called as Jai Talangana and Jai Andra are mainly due to Mulki rules. Telangana from the time of Nizam had rules relating to who is local and who is non local and only locals can be employed there. In 1969 the AP high Court held these rules are unconstitutional and therefore first agitation in Telangana to get a separate state. At that time China Reddy (Son in law of Konda Ranga Reddy and later CM of the state of AP twice) was unemployed as the Supreme Court banned him from contesting elections for 6 years. So he did what he could to create riots etc sitting in the background. Indira refused to accept the division and the agitation was suppressed. Similarly Supreme Court up held the same Mulki rules and people in the rest of the state started Jai Andra which was also suppressed with force by Indira Gandhi. Later the constitution of India was amended and AP state is divided in to zones (6) and accordingly Government Jobs are recruited locally within the district, zone and state wise cadre.

Many people find this zonal system also bad and in fact KCR earlier strongly advocated abolition of this zonal system. In fact KCR never bothered for division of the state till he failed to become a minister and since then his was his only dhandha.

You can read the entire history of the matter in myteluguroots.com which will give a united AP advocates views. For the division side there are many sites which we can pick up.

Coming back to today’s position, I was in Hyderabad for 3 days last week and spoken with number of people. One person well placed in police told me that some 50000 Para military forces will be deployed in AP now to meet any situation. Police are now taking instructions form Governor and CM. In case of SKC not recommending for the division they expect lot of violence and attack on non Telangana Telugu people by KCR goons and they have made all the preparations. This time violence may be in rural and semi urban areas. One school principal told me that KCR people asked him to give 25000/- for today’s meeting and send all his school buses to Warangal to carry people. It appears regular and heavy collection of extortion amounts is going on now in Hyderabad. With regards to looting from non Telangana Telugu people it is same drama without any basis for justification of what ever they want to do. Frankly I would be very surprised if the SKC finds there is backwardness and looting Telangana

One more thing, Naxals have returned to AP now and demands for money from their end also started. People living in the towns near forests are all getting these demand and police are tense what will happen now.

In the Razakars time there was trouble in the rural areas with the Razakars on a rampage. Looks like KCR is going "back to the future". The big problem is in Telangana its the political spoils system.Unless you are in power i.e. ministry you don't get a share of the loot. There is no other source of large scale loot. Hence the repeated out of power politicians resorting to agitation to obtain loot. KCR has figured out how to loot from public without being in power by way of extortion. So people have to pay him (to survive) and the INC (to continue in business) at same time.

Muppalla garu, the large numbers at the TRS meeting only reflect a well known fact, i.e. a strong T sentiment in the North T districts. Nothing new here.

Sadly, Sakshi is reporting a suicide attempt by a student at the meeting, and the boy is seemingly in a serious condition at the local government hospital. Well, KCR and others can now rest in peace in their A/C rooms, while they make everyone else suffer.

Added later: Ramana garu, yes the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Govt Hospital in Warangal. Hope he lives on to see the fullest extent of his life, and not be snuffed out in the bud stage.

:rotfl:

He talks about 4 pillars of congress and says that CBI has 60x60x24x7x31x12 surveillance. Who are they? As far as I know there only THREE living pillers of congress.

1. Sonia Gandhi
2. Rahul Gandhi
3. Priyanka Gandhi (Who cares about Vadhra?)

Who is the fourth person, a new Mattai in working

No surprise at all. He is the one who is after Chidu and AP government regarding the encounter of top Naxal. Telangana movement cannot be seperated from Naxals and their open supporters. So much of a web and too many links.

And comment in Deccan Chronicle in the same story
All three in the picture are from Andhra region. Vijaya Shanti -- everybody knows. KCR, from Bobbili which is more backward than Telangana. No wonder they migrated. Swami Agnivesh alias Vepa Shyam Rao: Migrated from Vizianagaram to MP. Again Vizianagaram is more backward than Telangana
So migrants spearheading the agitation.

Also Muppala, If PC was the front for the 'C' system, could his pre-emptive declaration of Telangana be a way to reduce the support for YSR legacy?

All very complex.

Oh my God!! Even Swami Agnivesh is a Telugu one. What a shame!!!. Every stalwart of Maoists or their open strategists are all Telugus and non-Telanganites.

Regarding migrants spearheading the Telangana movement, I have no surprise in that. The Telangana strategy inside Naxals will also surely be by the migrants onlee. The real Telanganites are very innocent (I will say it even if they abuse) and I know it at a very personal level.

It is kite flying time about SKC and let me fly my kite and here is my prediction of the report:
(1) No evidence of suppression or backwardness that is not comparable to other parts of AP
(2) There is a strong sentiment for Telangana and probably they deserve a state of their own ( I expect this strong statement)
(3) The historical perception of Telanganites that Andhras cheating them etc. is not removable
(4) There is a strong ownership feeling of Hyderabad for entire AP and this is also something that is as strong as Telangana sentiment(I do not expect HYD as UT from the commission and they stop at Hyd Ownership sentiment == Telangana sentiment and that it).
(5) Though there is no discrimination, the political space for Telangana is very low in AP
(6) The commitee will provide some statistics and leave the decisions to Government.
(7) Overall it can be perceived as Telangana favoring report
(2) and (3) will be Telangana seperatists future scoring points. (1) and (4) will be Seemandhra politicians scoring points. It will be a challenge for KKR, Sonia, Narasimhan, Pranab Da and the central cabinet how will they go forward from here.

Yes it is very complex and let me take a shot at and here is the chronological order that I beleive.

(1) The 'C' system realizes one of its massive failure of not able to either predict or able to do counter-ops against EVM fraud. They identifies AP is the capital or control center of EVM fraud and has to destroy YSR
(2) Sensing the grand victory and future possibilities the S system was basking in its glory.
(3) The C system infiltrated into PC's inner and outer circles. It is easy as the C was actually born there
(4) YSR dies
(5) This rattles the S system and declares autere measures. Start roaming in local trains and passenger flights and trains.
(6) As a conciliatory note towards C system they did not make Jagan as successor to YSR
(7) Per 'C' if you kill AP that itself will kill the S system forever. It was their jhapad time
(8) PC background helped them to infiltrate their ideas into Ahmed Patel types. So S and PC take a consensus decision without consulting Pranab da.
(9) The KCR fasting and later declaration were orchestrated
(10) The 'S' system realizes the blunder and before it can breathe, Pillai pre-emtively declares that HYD is non-negotiable and has to be part of T.Period. Otherwise you cannot create widespread anger against S in seemandhra which is fundamentally important.
(11) Pranab Da and Mamta and also several state satraps gets rattled. Abuses PC and makes him to retreat. SKC formed.
(12) Sustained Jagan and S estrangement. There is more to this than that even 'C' can even handle. Who cares anyway when naplam was already fired.

Rest you know and we have to see how will 'S' will create turn around from here as 2G and other stuff is out.

The objective of S and C systems is Bharat. Telangana is just one key element.

IMHO KCR is playing with fire with his "civil war" type statements. I am watching his speech and other telangana speeches including Swami Agnivesh. KCR's strategy is to keep the pot boiling so he can continue to get extortion money and eventually separate Telangana. At the end he hopes to "manage" all this Telangana agitation to :?: gain once a separate state is formed.

We have seen this strategy at play before with Pakistan. Unnecessary enmity and hatred were manufactured and fostered to carve Pakistan out of Bharat. We know how Pakistan is after 60 years of self-rule.

Leadership can change their views very easily given the reality. But public sentiment and memory is long and it can change fortunes of entire nations...

Hope better sense prevails. I sincerely hope this "separate Telangana" state-demand benefits real people. So far all we have seen is KCR collecting tens of crores of rupees where as the common telangana family is sacrificing their children.

From the link:
"...Though the committee found that there was gross injustice to the land tillers of the region, the villains in this case were landlords of Telangana and not those of other regions. ..."

So if committee gives opinion like this, they can turn KCR arguments and say it is KCR like landlords robbed Telangana than their counterparts from other regions.

------

As I said in the past it will be somewhat neutral. Only thing to look is political touch ups they might to add to advantage of their bosses (Central Congress)

One thing missing in our analysis is BJP's angle. BJP is trying to get rope to get into non-T regions. If that happens it will disaster for Congress as Congress votes might turn into BJPs (Gali effect). In T region, just like Congress, BJP can get credit for the creation so T won't be monopoly for Congress either in case of separation.

Congress and BJP T-play resulted in Naidu's hands (mouth rather) tied. He went on fighting for people issues like any opposition party. It created a lot of sympathy for TDP now as many are thinking AP is much better with TDP. TDP can now best hope for Congress votes losses are more than its so TDP can come to power.

Best recourse for Congress is to provide a clean government for next 3 years to win next time. Unfortunately, next set of crooks (may be non-YSR) are waiting to loot now. Ministers behavior exhibited that it is their chance now till elections come.

As for T, Congress may pursue instituting SRC to gain more time citing it didn't find Telangana not developing in AP as per the SKC report. Giving T might be start of Congress getting wiped out in the South unless they will be content with their presence in Telangana.

Muppala garu,

Your C-system caused an explosion in my mind. I am trying to connect some dots.

Swami Laxmananda of Odisha was murdered by maoists on 8/23/2008. Below is the wiki info on that.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_ ... _in_Orissa

On 28 August, a letter of denial was received by a some media outlets, the VHP office in the Gajapati District of Orissa and the Bajrang Dal from a Maoist group. While the letter denied that the Central Committee of the Kotagarha branch of the Maoists had approved the attack, it claimed that some Maoists may have been lured by "nefarious elements" to launch the attack.[43] Sources within the police force have said that Maoists could have carried out the operation[44] Soon after the appearance of the aforementioned letter, Azad, a leader of the Maoist People's Liberation Guerrilla Army, claimed responsibility for the murder of Lakshmanananda. Azad was suspected by the police of leading the attack himself.[45] On 9 September 2008 the Maoists, who work underground, made an official press release claiming responsibility for the killing of Lakshmanananda.[46] Many Maoist sympathizers of south Orissa had initially denied the role of CPI-Maoist in the murder of VHP leaders that sparked off communal violence in Kandhamnal district.[47] Communist Party of India (Maoist) leader Sabyasachi Panda claimed that they killed Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati and four of his disciples at his Jalespeta ashram on 23 August [48] .[49][50] On 7 October 2008, the Orissa police announced they arrested three Christians in connection with the murder of the Swami.
On 2/7/2010, Maoist Leader was killed in an encounter in Andhra borders. Swami Agnivesh was negotiating a peace deal with Azad.

Now Swami Agnivesh could be one of the two

1. Part of S system - Given Swami Agnivesh's support to JK Terrorists, EJ activities, Maoists, and anti-hindu forces, he could be the point person between S system and Maoists in the guise of a secular-hindu seer.

2. Part of C system - Is he a Indu Sharma?

This also reminds me the posts B-ji used to make on how Maoists can be a potent tool in Indic hands.

Ramanaji, any suggestion on a dedicated thread for such juicy CT thoughts? Can we use Chanakya thread???

Now I am motivated to translate the remaining parts of Chanakya story
