Gautam Adani, chair of India’s Adani Group and one of the world’s richest people, was indicted in New York with others for an alleged multi-billion-dollar fraud scheme, authorities said Wednesday.
Adani and seven other defendants are accused of agreeing to pay more than $250 million in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain “lucrative solar energy supply contracts with the Indian government,” the U.S. Attor
Those contracts were projected to generate more than $2 billion in post-tax profits over two decades.
Adani allegedly met in person with an Indian government official on several occasions as part of the bribery scheme, prosecutors said.
Adani and two other defendants, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, who are executives of Adani Green Energy Limited, are also accused of conspiracies related to allegedly lying to U.S. and international investors about the bribery scheme as they sought to raise capital from those investors.
This photograph taken on January 12, 2024, shows a worker walking past rows of solar panels at the Adani Group owned Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Khavda. The five-count indictment unsealed Wednesday also charged Ranjit Gupta and Rupash Agarwal, who are former executives in the renewable-energy company Azure Power, and three former employees of the Canadian institutional investor Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec with conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in connection with the bribery scheme by Adani.

Really bad news
VinodTK ji,
the obummer vipers will not leave the nest without some last ditch efforts to derail India's growth story.
dig beneath the surface and you will find definite evidence of cheeni fingerprints.
and it is a warning shot to go easy on some congi clown's citizenship issue that is now pending before an Indian court.
Both the amrikis and the cheenis have been, for the longest time, trying to undercut adani and curb his India specific strategic foreign investments in key regions, especially where such investments clash with the amriki / cheeni predatory geopolitical interests.
The haifa port deal by adani was a really hard kick to the cheeni testimonials. The repeat order for the (Naval) french rafales has closed many doors for the amriki deep state.
2024 India elections did not produce the results that the BIF and the cheeni heavily paid paid for. That was not considered "bribery or even illegal interference in India's Internal affairs and open election rigging".

And out comes Adani indictment
The tamasha will begin :
JPC vs Waqf bill

Besides I think the indictment is 4 state Governments officials took bribes between July 21 and Apr 22- i.e Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Tamil Nadu.
Funny thing is representatives from these Parties are attacking Adani.

Keep Connecting Dots!
~Brooklyn Court has indicted #Adani
~Where is it? Ans: New York
~All prosecutors in New York are chosen by Soros, who're still trying to Jail Trump.
~Adani has pledged investment of $10 Billion in US Infra & Energy Projects, which are currently dominated by Chinese companies.
~Soros, Hunter Biden & many Democrats have huge investments in these Chinese Companies.
~Soros has already lost big money after his 2nd Failed attack on Adani via Short-seller Hindenburg Research.
~US bond investors, have largely supported Adani despite repeated attacks by #Hindenburg. This resilience hasn’t sat well with Biden and D€€P $t@te.
~D€€P $t@te run CIA had orchestrated regime change in Bangladesh. Adani Group curtailed Power Supply to same Bangladesh to bring it down to knees.
~To stop threat called Adani, there is simple way....to indict him in some US Court.
~As per American Laws, a company indicted in Court Charges is barred from making investments in US.
Connect Dots and also think whom does D€€P St@te support in Bharat & Why?
My take- Gautam Adani is not just a businessman; he is a strategic force driving Bharat's rise in the global order. The current allegations are part of a larger geopolitical game aimed at weakening Bharat's economic and strategic resilience & rising power through control on ports, airports across continents. It's hurting badly not only to China, but also to US & WEST.
In such times, Defending Adani is defending Bharat's sovereignty, its economic future, and its critical role in global stability.
I rest my case. Logical & Critical decision left upon you.
The answer is here
Not one NDTV Anchors came in ro defend their boss Adani.
Had it been their former boss Prannoy Roy they would have posted all the time defending him.
Adani hired new snakes in his own channel.
There isn't even one nationalist journalist in the lot

SRajesh ji,
No reason for adani to support the beedi govt, why should he take a hit for no reason at all. He is in it for the money, like every one else
It is the deep state making sure that India keeps it's nose out of the ukr peace process and let the war go on and also not strangle the beedis too much.
As far as the cheen and the amrikis are concerned, all beedi logistics are best sourced from India as it lessens their burden. They do not want that commerce to stop but unfortunately for the beedis, cheen and the amrikis, most businesses have fled, investments have dried up and imports have all but stopped, especially textile based goods and services which used to bring in some moolah for them
The ill treatment of the minority Hindus has not helped and the true color of the bengali jihadi is on display for all to see
AFAIK, the power from nepal is only about about 40 MW and that too is only available for about 5 odd months in a year. Keeps the nepalese happy and screws the beedis
no blame can now stick to India on the power front. But India continues to pump power to the beedis from govt power producers and that is also slowly tapering out due to non payment of bills
This is a deeper amriki game being played out on a much broader front, and the reasons for the arm twisting will become clearer as the days go by.
BTW, youanus senses danger to himself (from "students" and lamp posts) and so he is in paris most of the time these days. The beedi situation is unravelling fairly quickly.
the beedis will soon implode in the near to medium term and, like it or not, India will get caught in the blast zone with "refugees" flooding in

1st the bitcoin scam, and now This!
German cache lands on I-T browser; data on over 1,000 Indians with Gulf homes sent
Germany has provided India with a massive amount of data on properties in the UAE owned by Indians, potentially leading to tax evasion investigations.
The info, exceeding the scale of the 2011 HSBC Swiss accounts data leak, has prompted notices from Indian tax authorities to over 1,000 individuals.
Mumbai: Germany has shared with India the largest cache of information-far more than the HSBC Swiss accounts data the French had given in 2011-on thousands of properties owned by Indians in the Gulf.
This is a good thing, IMHO. I heard several ex-politicos, who are still Indian, have settled in al dubayya and invested ill-gotten wealth in Dubai RE.
What is the bitcoin scam?

I hear freebies sealed the game here too. Electricity bill waivers and such. This has become the standard voter expectation now, and no party can win without it.
Sadly, it makes illegal immigration more attractive. Tons of illegals come here and take all benefits all at the cost of the taxpayer. Then become loyal vote banks to those who can further their agenda.

Watch to see how the white man tried to bury all opposition by slyly bypassing protocols and tried to ram the agreement down the throats of affected countries by sheer deceit
These are the very same mofos who clamor for an FTA with India while using sanctions, accusations of fascism, diminish our democracy, and support insurgencies inside India in the name of "democracy and free speech, change our "demographics" by rampant conversions, and repeatedly attempt regime change

India Rejects COP29 Climate Finance Deal, Calls It "An Optical Illusion"
Nov 24, 2024 #cop29 #cop29azerbaijan #climateaction
India has rejected the $300 billion global climate finance deal adopted at the COP29 Summit in Baku, Azerbaijan, expressing disappointment over the lack of commitment from developed nations.
Indian representative Chandni Raina criticized the agreement, calling it insufficient to address the scale of challenges faced by developing countries.
Supported by nations like Nigeria, Malawi, and Bolivia, India argued that the deal falls far short of the $1.3 trillion demanded by the Global South, undermining the principles of equity and shared responsibility.
Developing nations remain frustrated by the reluctance of wealthier countries to meet their climate obligations.

Please read carefully. These 150 words below are worth more than long posts.
1. Climate change due to anthropogenic carbon emissions - and resultant global emergency - is very real. It is not a "narrative". India will be one of the hardest-hit nations, including disruption of the monsoon patterns.
2. At the same time, the developing world suffers "energy poverty", i.e. no cheap energy sources, only recourse is fossil energy.
3. The west has dominated/dictated the "narrative" on how to solve the climate crisis, i.e. the what, when, how, and who (including who will pay for it) - with approaches that are increasingly unacceptable to the developing world.
4. If the "global south"/BRICS become stronger and are united in reshaping the narrative on how to solve this, then there will an equitable path to solving climate change.
India's rejection of the COP offer is related to #2-#4, not #1. India under Modi sarkar will instead hopefully become a world leader in equitably combating climate change and carbon emissions, using all routes available.
