Bihar assembly elections 2025. Final update.
1. Bihar 243 seats.
2. As per Excel, seats below.
3. NDA- 141. (BJP-64, JDU-63, LJP-9, RLM-4, HAMS- 1).
4. INDI- 93. (RJD-63, INC-21, VIP-2, Left-7).
5. Others - 9 seats.
6. 14002 voters heard in Bihar, 2587 videos seen.
7. Vote shares. NDA-49.14%, INDI-37.88%, JS-9.68%.
8. The women voters polled are just 1170 and seat wise women voters polled are just 958. In the seat wise data, women are giving NDA 19% -20% lead on INDI.
9. As women polled in many /most seats are very less, the NDA seat estimates that I gave above needs an upward adjustment to reflect the real vote share strength of NDA.
10. Thus NDA range 155 to 165 seats. I wouldn't be surprised if NDA extends beyond 165 seats.
11. INDI- 70 to 80 seats.
12. Thus the higher range will mean more seats for BJP and JDU.
13. 49% vote share indicates a big pro incumbency vote share. Yes there are very loud and massive badlav noises among youth. But the women are taking the NDA vote share sharply upwards.
14. Thanks for all the counters, challenges, mild to severe trolling, interactions.
15. The Youtube inflow from Bihar was fantastic in terms of sheer diversity and high volumes. Certain Youtube channels like CityPost did a fantastic job in covering seats. Such a massively diverse base of Youtubers leads to better estimate of the pulse of ground and better seat wise estimates.
16. As always the disclaimer, no poll or pollster in India has any guarantee at all. Thank you.
Centre Grants Y-Plus Security to Tej Pratap Yadav Amid Rising Political Tensions in Bihar
Patna: The Union Home Ministry has upgraded the security cover of Tej Pratap Yadav, chief of the Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD) and elder son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, to Y-plus category following a security review by central agencies.
Sources confirmed that the decision was taken after the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) received a detailed report from security agencies highlighting potential threats to Yadav amid the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections. The upgraded protection includes 11 armed personnel, including Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commandos, with a combination of static guards and personal security officers (PSOs) deployed round the clock.
Tej Pratap, who launched his own political outfit after his expulsion from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) earlier this year, is contesting from Mahua constituency under his new party banner.
The move comes at a time when political tensions and concerns over law and order have intensified in Bihar. Yadav had earlier voiced fears for his safety, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government to strengthen his security arrangements.
