India took a major step forward in its quest to acquire a credible nuclear deterrent against potential adversaries like China when it successfully test fired the Agni-III intermediate range ballistic missile from the Wheeler Island off the Orissa coast.
The Ministry of Defence has now officially confirmed that all parameters of the 15-minute flight of the missile have been successfully validated.
