So,

gets all my documents through its officers Vivek, Pawan, Pushpendra and others in December. We exchanged 10 emails, I provided every single document of my mother’s ’liver cirrohossis’ and hospitalisation of 7 days, but HDFC finds this as ‘drug induced fever’.
In its ‘closure document’ it stated 5 emails sent to me (in October) asking additional documents which, they claim, I didn’t send. However, I have proof that I uploaded each one of them. Additionally, I talked to the whole series of individuals from HDFC and gave them all documents (and anything else they desired from hospital) in December. I own all call recordings on the matter.
Now, they sent me a 2-page pdf saying the claim has been closed as I didn’t send any documents as they desired. After paying ₹48,000/year for 4 years, they are not paying the ₹54,000 that they owe me.

Maduro came to see Satya Sai Baba in Andhra Pradesh in 2005
In November 2025, Maduro released a public statement honoring the 100th anniversary of Sai Baba’s birth, describing him as a "being of light" and recalling their 2005 meeting.

German Chancellor Merz To Visit India On 12-13 Jan, Trade, Defence & Tech On Agenda https://www.businessworld.in/article/ge ... nda-586128
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will pay a two-day visit to India next week, with a focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation across trade, investment, defence and technology, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.
Merz will travel to Ahmedabad and Bengaluru on 12–13 January, marking his first official visit to India. The trip comes as New Delhi seeks to deepen economic engagement with Europe amid tariff pressures under the Donald Trump administration.
US President Donald Trump said the United States should set its military budget for 2027 at $1.5 trillion instead of $1 trillion, arguing that the higher allocation is necessary to build what he called a “Dream Military” capable of deterring any adversary and keeping the country safe.

India, France, Germany and Poland Hold Candid Talks on Ukraine, Indo-Pacific External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has marked a significant diplomatic milestone by participating in India’s first-ever engagement in the Weimar Triangle format with France, Germany and Poland. Describing the discussions as short but deep, Jaishankar said the talks focused on three critical areas: India-European Union relations, the Indo-Pacific, and the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Jaishankar underlined that India’s expanding engagement with Europe, both through the European Union and bilateral partnerships, naturally creates space for smaller, flexible groupings like the Weimar Triangle. He argued that among India’s major global relationships, ties with Europe hold the greatest untapped potential, with many new areas of cooperation waiting to be explored.
Set against a backdrop of global churn and an increasingly multipolar world, the minister stressed the importance of regular exchanges between countries from different regions, each bringing distinct perspectives. Volatility and uncertainty, he noted, make a strong case for deeper collaboration among like-minded partners.
Earlier, Jaishankar also held bilateral talks with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, reviewing the India-France strategic partnership and discussing enhanced cooperation across sectors. He reiterated India’s expectation of welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron soon, calling the day’s engagements highly productive and indicative of growing strategic alignment with key European powers.

The broader point is the the northern regions of South America and the Caribbean have a lot of Indian diaspora/cultural influence, which needs to be developed further. Unlike China and Russia, India is not an "outsider" to the Caribbean region.
We all know about the large Indian diaspora in Guyana and Surinam, plus several of the caribbean islands. Interestingly, the latino Venezuelan leadership seems to be influenced by Indian culture. SSB's NGO is still working there. There could be many other Indian influences that we don't know about. Until Modi, there seemed to be no real outreach/cooperation strategy. Now things have moved much faster. One possible good effect of Maduro's removal is that the threats against Guyana (and its oil reserves) have abated at least temporarily. Now Guyana is able to bid out oil exploration blocks, and Indian companies are invited.

WATCH: NSA Ajit Doval’s powerful ‘34-minute’ address inspiring India’s young leaders Speaking at the opening ceremony of Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, NSA Ajit Doval said, "...I've forgotten my youth, and your youth has changed so much that I'm not even aware of many things. But one thing is very common in both: when I was young, and now, I've observed that it always stays with you... That is your decision-making ability... India will definitely develop. India, at the pace and speed that PM Modi has set. Even if it runs on autopilot, it will still be developed. But the question is: who will lead this developed India? How capable will they be? The greatest strength of a leader is making the right decisions. They make decisions on time and implement those decisions with complete faith and conviction. So if you want to become a leader of developed India, in any field – science, technology, security – you will have to make decisions, and you will have to develop this decision-making ability from now on..."

Somnath stands as a beacon of eternal divinity. Its sacred presence continues to guide people across generations. Here are highlights from yesterday’s programmes, including the Omkar Mantra chanting and drone show.
When Narendra Modi stays two nights at Somnath Temple, it is intent. Leaders fly in and out for optics. They pause only when meaning runs deeper.
Somnath was shattered, rebuilt, desecrated, rebuilt again. A civilisational stress test that never broke. This visit is the Indian state re-rooting itself in continuity. History remembered. Resolve reaffirmed
But @narendramodi is apparently unwilling to touch it.

‘Religious Invasion Labelled As Loot’: PM Modi SLAMS ‘Attempts To Distort’ Somnath Temple’s History Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the Somnath Swabhiman Parv as a powerful symbol of India’s enduring faith and collective resolve. Speaking at the Shri Somnath Temple, he said the event reflects the devotion and strength of crores of Indians. The Prime Minister said repeated attempts were made in the past to distort and suppress India’s history, particularly that of Somnath, and that the legacy of national heroes was deliberately erased. He recalled that even after Independence, objections were raised when Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel pledged to rebuild the temple and when then President Dr Rajendra Prasad visited Somnath. PM Modi said forces with a colonial mindset tried to whitewash invasions and label religious destruction as mere loot. He urged unity, awareness and strength to counter divisive forces, saying the journey of the last 1,000 years should inspire preparedness for the next millennium.
