Here we must follow the mind set of a commie local leader from Kerala, Swaraj. He had quoted some one else and declared "death does not make any one a saint". Once in a while a commie makes sense. The true life & behaviour of Gandhi must be let out to the public who should be encouraged to make up their mind on this person.

This is massive.

Yesterday, 5,500 crore worth of drugs were confiscated by Delhi Police. Apparently, those behind the consignment have deep connection with the Congress and operate across Delhi, Haryana and wider NCR.

The man arrested is a Youth Congress office bearer, who goes by the name Tushar Goel alias Dikki. His social profile establishes close association with Haryana Congress leadership, among others.

Rahul Gandhi must explain Congress’s involvement with the drug cartel and their attempts to ruin lives of millions of young men and women.

To put it in perspective, under the Congress led UPA (2006-2013), only 768 crore worth of drugs were seized across India... On the contrary, under the BJP, between 2014-2022, drugs worth 22,000 crore have been recovered.

A national party, peddling drugs, is scary beyond imagination.

Image

Well, this looks bigger.

Dickie Goel on his LinkedIn has mentioned that he is managing director of Tushar Publications as well, which is registered in his father's and mother's name. They also own one other publication house which goes by name tulip and a real estate company in Gurgaon.

All this could very well unearth a huge money laundry front specially when we are looking such huge number of 5500 crores worth of cocaine smuggling.

Wow! Marathi, Pali, Prakrit, Assamese, and Bengali have been included in the classical language category. The Union Cabinet has approved the recognition of five more languages as "classical."

---
I always enjoyed learning and reading in various languages (along with math and physics)... for learning, say Sanskrit I found the best way to read and enjoy old mathematics.. I learned Urdu especially because there were good books explaining Geometry in my fathers collection.. learned Russian because it (in 1970's days) have all the technical papers translated in Russians and very good (and inexpensive - many did not get translated into english) text books of physics)..In any case I find it extremely rewarding to travel, see movies, read books in other Indian languages -- now it is easier with AI translation - which are becoming better and better.

I have lately learnt to appreciate the Prakrit connection across our languages be it Marathi, Bengali or even Nepali. In fact I think today Nepali maintains a lot of classical Hindi vocabulary that we have lost due to English and Urdu. There is a spectrum of languages from Bengali, Assamese, Nagamese that can sound familiar if you listen well enough. One of the NE languages even sounds very close to Thai as it ends with … khaa (Sawaadi khaa)

I recently learnt Japanese has this common phrase “so ka!” meaning “is it so!” or “aisa kya” or “Assa ka” in Hindi or Marathi used in the same context. The “so des ne” in Japanese is again “aisa hai na” or “assa aahey na” in Hindi/Marathi. There are lot of small expressions like aigoo in Korean or acha or arey in Japanese that have the same context which means that there is some prehistoric connection between Asian languages

Mounting dues may compel Indian power suppliers to Bangladesh to use sovereign guarantee commitment

https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/ne ... 697469.ece

September 30, 2024

Feeling the financial strain as the payment dues from Bangladesh keep mounting, the Indian power exporters to Dhaka are now looking at all options to recover the dues including using the sovereign guarantee made by Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) during the signing of the power purchase and power sale agreements.

Among the five Indian entities selling power to the neighbouring country, Adani Power has recently received some payment, but suppliers like SEIL Energy India and PTC are finding themselves in a fix. Multiple sources told businessline if the situation stays unchanged, the sellers will be left with little option but to use the sovereign guarantee commitment made by BPDB.

Pali, Prakrit, and Sanskrit played significant roles in ancient Jain scholarship and astronomy... (one of my interest is astronomy - and reading original text is very rewarding)
FWIW: some comments:
Pali:
Pali was the primary language of early Buddhist scriptures, but Jain scholars also used it.
Jain texts, such as the "Sutta Pitaka," contain Pali words and phrases.
Pali's influence is evident in Jain canonical texts, like the "Agamas."

Prakrit:
Prakrit was a broader term for ancient Indian languages, including Pali.
Jain scholars wrote extensively in Prakrit,
Famous Jain texts like the "Agamas" and "Sutrakritanga" were written in Ardhamagadhi/Prakrit.
Sanskrit:
Sanskrit was widely used in Jain scholarship, too especially for philosophical and astronomical works.
Many Jain texts, such as the "Tattvartha Sutra" and "Mahapurana," were written in Sanskrit.
Sanskrit's influence grew as Jainism spread throughout India.
Astronomy:
Jain astronomers, like Aryabhata (476 CE), used Sanskrit for astronomical works.
The "Jyotish Vedanga" (400 BCE), a Jain astronomical text, was written in Sanskrit.

- Jain scholars often translated texts from Prakrit to Sanskrit.
Sanskrit's influence on Prakrit and Pali is evident in linguistic and literary borrowings.
In any case, I am quite glad to give importance to languages by new India,,

BJP likely to loose Haryana due to poor leadership. Voters now understand who is working and who is just moving around in a convoy. 90% of the work done in Haryana has been done by Modi-Gadkari-Vaisnaw, etc i.e. the Center. However, Saini looks capable. He was not given enough time. J&K is along expected lines. Only Shah can rescue the coming situation. I fear a ganging up of all Muslim parties including Congress. If they do not invest money in Jammu similar to Kashmir they will loose their as well. There is deep resentment in Jammu Hindus. All the money is going to Kashmir who will not vote for BJP. This from exit polls.

Very few people realize how important the Haryana election was!

Professional farmer protesters close to Congress were ready at the border to enter Delhi.

If Congress would have won Haryana, our country would have faced another attempt at the regime change protest by the deep state.

We should thank the people of Haryana for saving our country.

BIF in maharashtra will be sorely disappointed by this move of the govt.

The onion express: Rail wagons lined up for quick festival-season deliveries

The government is preparing for faster onion deliveries to major cities from 14 October.

The first goods train with onions will depart from Nashik to to Guwahati.

https://www.livemint.com/economy/onion- ... 11005.html

New Delhi: The government is going ahead full-steam with its plan to dispatch onions by rail to different parts of the country to cool this essential vegetable’s price, which is about 60% higher than a year ago.

Mint reported on 27 September that the government was planning to move onions stocks by rail instead of by road to reach markets faster. The Centre has now allotted two rakes to ensure speedy delivery of onions to major cities, according to two persons directly involved in the process.

A typical rake refers to a full goods train comprising 40 wagons and capable of transporting about 1,700 tonnes of bulbs. A large truck can carry about 25 tonnes of onion and would take longer than a goods train to reach its destination.

“The first such consignment will be flagged off from Nashik on 14 October for Guwahati. The second consignment has been planned for Delhi,” said one of the two persons cited above. Ranchi is expected to be the third destination.

The average retail price of onion in Guwahati is about ₹70 per kg. Nashik, on India’s west, is about 2,500 km from Guwahati, which lies on the country’s northeastern region.

The average price of onion across India is ₹54.36 per kg, up from ₹34 per kg a year ago, according to the consumer affairs ministry. Onions are a key staple of Indian diet, making its price a hot-button issue, especially during festivals and elections.

Please read this.

Panic is setting in along with a deep frustration at the juvenile antics of the dimwit.

The BIF may not have viable options but to go the beedi way

Image

https://indianexpress.com/article/opini ... e-9610234/

the mafiosos are quite intent on building a cult figure and their regent is the unilaterally chosen nominee, but it is their focus on personality brand management that has brought the edifice down, resulting in the active non cooperation of several powerful regional satraps who have their own nominees, if not themselves gunning for the top job

apart from some idle speculation, there have never been any real reports of intra party discussions, profitable give or take, or even some form of deal making to unambiguously identify such a candidate and that puts the dimwit at a very real disadvantage, no matter who in the BIF is backing him

If this joker could not step in to quell some dissention in the ranks, in a small state like haryana, by demonstrating personal leadership and team building skills, how does he expect to perform his BIF assigned role if he, with their help, succeeds in setting the country afire

This situation is not even remotely comparable to youanus and the BIF orchestrated beedi meltdown. India holds a considerable percentage of the global population. It simply cannot be knocked casually over like the BIF did with the beedis

BTW, wasn't just such a scenario envisaged by the departing britshits in 1947 who hoped to be "invited" back to govern India, after lighting the fuse, priming the pump, and expecting jinnah and the newly minted paki army, along with some maharajahs to fan the flames of communal chaos

churchill voiced such a hope quite openly: “Power will go to the hands of rascals, rogues, freebooters; all Indian leaders will be of low calibre & men of straw. They will have sweet tongues and silly hearts. They will fight amongst themselves for power and India will be lost in political squabbles.”
