I am new to this board so I wanted to introduce myself. I am an American Army Officer and I am currently a PhD student at Kansas State University in their Security Studies program. I am leaning towards writing my dissertation on India’s civil-military relationship. India seems a rich place to study military- civil relationships. The security environment is extremely complex, both internally and externally, and the civil society is also extremely diverse. I also find it is extremely understudied by American military officers.

I look forward to participation in this board and learning, by debate and exchanging ideas, an Indian perspective on the global and regional security environment.
