Per NDTV Shinde recommended this on 1/23 a day or two after his Hindu terror statement.

KSR Gilani, the co-accused was defended by none other than Jetmalani and was acquitted. He made few points
1. The trial is not fair
2. uPA is playing politics
3. There will be consequences

-
This is another political decision by Congress party based on NModi raise.

They hanged Kasab after NM's victory in Gujarat elections. Now they hanged Afjal Guru after the response NM got for his SRCC speech.

May NM have more victories so INC is forced to do the right things before it is kicked out of power.

Whatever be inner intention of UPA for doing this now, at least the right thing has been done. However, nation must remember not to give too much credit to UPA for this. They have squeezed the best use they could get out of him and removed him from the path before he would become massive liability in face of upcoming election.

But good going India.

It took this long for Modi to be declared virtual PM candidate and every country ( EU is latest) is seeing the light. Now, the tubelights in INC HQ start glowing and these countermeasures to keep the one man phenomenon from marching on

x-post from NM dhaga in the burqa forum...

The mere presence of NM pushes the polity, endogenously, to the right (even if ever so slightly). Wish he could prevail on UPA (indirectly of course) to be more right-leaning economically as well (as in, internally liberalize more sectors such as agri, edu, real estate and so on...if wishes were horses only...)

I do hope this act of long delayed justice brings the leftists out frothing in full force outraging 24x7 on all their rented media outlets.

The law of diminishing returns to demonization and outrage, already in play, will strengthen. The leftists, like their jihadist brethren can hardly stop themselves from overplaying their hand only. Only.

Arnab openly taking jibes at NDTV calling them terrorist sympathizers. Arnab says we have taken conscious decision to not give space to terrorist sympathizers.

This is not a significant thing and doesn't merit a thread.
Please take the discussion to Internal Security Thread.

RIP as he is an Indian and not a Paki.
