Re: India's Border Security with China and Pakistan-2020 - Part 2

We will be evenly matched soon enough. Perhaps IA sees no good reason to disengage and will use the opportunity to build a road and rail network all across the LAC and only when we feel confident that we can out mobilize the Chinese at the border, will we bother to move back. Maybe it'll be 5 or 10 ...

A basic acknowledgment of a birthday greeting from the Taiwan president would have gone a long way sending a strong message to China. What did we have to lose anyway.

They already call an Indian state as their own and openly back terrorism from Pakistan.

One thing that I cannot get my head around is that if China is such a long term strategic thinking, why are they hell bent on pushing conflict in India, given our deep connections with Tibet and the sheer size and scale of the region. 5 pak intruders shot dead in punjab (armed with ak 47, cocaine and currency) trying to enter via the Punjab border, a day after SMQ meets Chinese minister. Seems to be too much to be a coincidence. It's too late to mount a military attack now when the enemy is well entrenched with clear roads reinforcement in depth areas.
