From what I understand, Mig 35 is modified version of Mig 29. So, chances for further growth were limited like that of F-16. Also, the jet is yet to book order and hit production lines..!

Wiki says "The final design is expected to be shown to the air force by 2012, after which full scale development on the aircraft may start."

From my understanding, Final Design means staff requirements being charted out and a conceptual design of would be fighter to be framed. am I right?

assuming F16 has no chance of being selected for its operational history with PAF. I hope there is no point in Buying Grippen as a single engine fighter. IAF should support LCA. I don't think any of the double engine can as of now affect AMCA in negative way. It is pretty much on the drawing board..I hope that technologies from these aircrafts will be a feeder for AMCA...!

I think, The deal should be divided between two vendors. That should increase the rate induction and we also may get alternate technologies.
