Well ravip, LASER defense is still in its infancy to be deployed in numbers . US army uses Avengers and its variants in numbers.
As regard India , we have layered defense against airborne threats , whether those are obsolete and needs replacement and in quantity is another story.

actually I could not find any transmitter arrays. it can be a EW asset of ARC who currently operate this base or some navigation becon and it is newly built around 2011-12.

RAF have three stages for flying Jets ,
1. Elementary Flying Training (EFT) using Tutor( Piston Driven)
2. Basic Fast Jet Training (BFJT) using Tucanos (Turboprop )
3. Advanced and weapons training using Hawks ( Jet )

No one said Arihant have problem regarding Hull construction and integration , its only our folks at SCB is cautious and powering the reactor progressively to its full potential before commencing sea trials.

Yes in the 80's guess during the time of induction of INS chakra . Its a ELF ( extreme low frequency ) facility built by L&T adjacent to existing VLF facility.

Well we did have our own jets , Marut and Kiran , both manufactured by HAL. What production engineering went in to those , even Hals existing assembly lines for imported stuffs can shed some light about the production engineering that is going into for manufacturing Tejas. well it was a discovery 'inside out' episode , what I meant is, while the car was in design phase the factory needed for manufacturing the car too was being built . so by the time prototype came out they have already set the equipment needed for manufacturing the car. kinda concurrent engineering . ...
