Re: Small Armaments & Infantry Equipment - News & Discussion

Good equipment is not the issue here. Endless hardware type multiplication.

more variety = more maintenance, training, supply chain and logistics challenges.

Re: India's Border Security with China and Pakistan-2020

I think Modi's hand of friendship to Xi was genuine. Chinese aggression in Ladhak was a surprise for Modi, MEA, NSA everyone, more due to its timing - coming after Dokhlam and right in the middle of the Covid pandemic, than the fact that the Chinese would do it. The big question is why our military ...

May be they want to get into the business of posting youtube review videos and make some money for the nation instead of wasting it.

pankajs, India is no Tajikistan. China has its greedy ambitions, but they can't go about it in the same way with every neighbour. The point I'm making is collusion between Pakis and Chinese regarding Indian territory of J&K. The Pakis have a compulsive need for it and the Chinese have an obsessi...

I saw the online discussion in which EAM Jaishankar made those remarks, and I don't agree with the comments above. Being jingoistic is fine on BRF. The EAM was speaking as a diplomat. India is playing a good cop - bad cop routine. We need to chill.

If you look that the recent updated political map of Pak released by Dimkhan's govt, it claims large parts of J&K and Ladakh as its own territory, excepting Aksai Chin which China already controls. This could very well be due to a realisation by Pak that post abrogation of Art 370, it has no cha...

Encouraging internal consumption will only work partially since the money to spend is fuelled by export revenue, even if the Chinese have a much higher rate of savings than the west. Real estate is a big driver of GDP in growing/developing economies and is a good indicator of consumption trends. Con...
