It's one of the early Kashin class destroyers developed in '79 and commissioned in '83 in IN,the commander of this boat was Captain and later CNS Vishnu Bhagwat ,one of the best minds IN ever had.

But the engine cladding is almost the same in both the cases, in all probability this is the wreckage of the F-16 shot down by Wing Co Abhi.

This helmet is in use for sometime now by the Parachute regiments and other units during jumps.See the recent Indo-US exercise involving the Paras.Even the last Indo-Rus exercise features this kinda helmets.

40 of the F16's in PAF were acquired in 1983 that makes it 31 year old airframes . The whole border incursion exercise by the PLA is a prelude to the takeover of Chumar as I see it.IA should be very watchful of the events in that sector for the next six months,we should be having regular patrols & UAV surveillance.
