Well ball-chewer did try it on GG and got full ma-behen in return. So i doubt he'd want to try it with someone more feisty like bhajji or someone who replies solely and much more strongly like srt :)

^^ One thing I noticed on their website is the big banner they've made. Right where it says "We believe" under the ICC WC 2011 they listed Bangladesh as the sole host nation. Got to give it to their citizen, they do dream a lot. They are leading a sort of a "never stop believing" campaign as I guess many of their folks are probably getting tired of getting beat up.

I think it is Ahmed Shehzad who got a real mouthful from Balaji and deservedly so. Has anyone noticed that the inbreeding Paki is trying to ape Virat Kholi's style and mannerisms? perhaps too much of watching IPL

It looks like Ahmad started the talk from cover point and Balaji really mouthed off against him. The umpire put a stop to it and says to the other umpire 'Too much chatter!'.

I was going to post that let us see if Roach babu lives up tohis word. I see he has removed Tamim in the first over. Should be a good contest still.

EDIT: 16/2. Ooh why for BDs playing "yo" music? Something like "give it to me baby". Why not play some good Bangla melodies hainji?

Junaid looks like a fine batsman with potential.

Kemar has some gooood yorkers!! Desperate BDs asking for a review on a plumb LBW. I was hoping Junaid would play more shots.

I'm failing my statistics exam tomorrow for this? Its really hard to 'believe' after this kind of batting, but its not like I have another option.
this match is fixed....

8 down
oh I love this excuse..
Bd hosting was a mistake. Too much pressure. We weren't ready.
Q:
how long will we persist with losers like this?
A:
untill we stop playing cricket or any sports that matters
this won't even be a day night match... we are just a little over an hour into the match

Misery has ended. 58 all out. Lowest score by a full member nation. You cannot play spin that badly in the subcontinent. You got some work to do there boys.
BD fans are throwing crap on the field.
At least show some good shots, oh dear Calypso King!

Good timing to play the song "De ghumaa ke" just when Gayle is about to come out...

This is good for India, Assuming then that England beat Bangladesh, if we lose to SA, we can deliberately lose WI, Get the B3 spot and play our QF at Motera, SF at Mohali and Finals at Wankhade.

I hope whoever meets the Pakis and White Pakis knock both these teams at the QF stage.

Having said that India will lose onlee :((

Hmm BD is behind Ireland on NRR. If Ireland manages to win one, and lose others by close margins, they may even squeak ahead of BD. Difference between England and Ireland is not that much.

Having said that, I do believe England will make it to QFs. The BD - England match should be a tight one: both are coming off unexpected/shameful losses.

West Indies team bus stoned in Dhaka
Learning from their paki brethren?

hey... hear this
A Bangladesh police official said the fans had mistaken the West Indies bus for the Bangladesh bus. "The fans thought it was the Bangladeshi team bus and they hurled stones at it," Imtiaz Ahmed, deputy commissioner of police in Dhaka, told AFP. "The window panes were shattered, but no one was injured."

bookies won't have any interest in BD. That BD will be whooped by most is a foregone conclusion and everyone will bet on it. It is their opponents that the bookies would be looking at. Can they make them lose to BD?

Yeah.. ICC should learn that they should have given it to India alone. Throwing stones at visitors just shows their nature.

You think the BCCI would've got to host it if they went it alone? Check the voting patterns, boss! No chance at all... in fact if the Pacquis hadn't been themselves, they would've been co-hosts too, right? Realpolitik rules.
Marten bhau, I know it used to voting earlier, but now isnt it turns based? In other words, this whole hosting thing is split into blocs, and each bloc takes turns in hosting. We are in the SEAsia bloc...

Back in the days in-fighting and mistrust was rampant among our Kingdoms; this helped England and other Colonial powers. Now, rampant in-fighting, corruption and mistrust in BCCI is causing ICC a comeback. Is this reading correct?
