In 1983 the winner of Ind/Aus match won the cup, ditto 1999 and 2003. Something tells me that the Pawkis are not winning this one. Their batting is suspect and their bowlers are bound to have a bad day.

Nobody has a superb bowling attack. The famed SA quickies were carted around mercilessly until the Indians decided to go for a harakiri after 262. And what is all this about this ground vs. that ground? India playing in India should be unbeatable. If they can only win on certain pitches, well sorry but I don't want to follow their matches.

kament on gawd--

1) there’s this guy whose body has experienced every known and unknown injury. he always struggles with his infirmities and some how manages to carry on.

2) he is determined, gracefull.

3) he WALKS.

4) he has done his best and keeps doing it and finally at the end of every match he is very much dejected.

5) HE HAS DONE IT FOR TWENTY TWO YEARS. a very long long long time.

6) he comes back with a flourish, he ENCHANTS.

7) there would be no more fitting tribute to HIM than the world cup.

May the BRF ishta devata the all powerful the merciful grant HIM his wish.
I will rededicate myself to brf, slogging many more hours as and when possible if HE gets his wish(and all of us also)
